I visited in the morning, it was quiet. I found what I needed, got help when I asked. Pleasant and sizes for kids in variety. Prices even for clearance are all reasonable. Clean and organized.

Always fun shopping with my granddaughters for school clothes here. I wish there was seating for all of us disabled shoppers. If you want us to be able to shop for the hours it takes some of us to find everything we want. You really need chairs at the fitting rooms at least. My mom and I had to take turns standing outside the fitting rooms while the kids tried on all their clothes. I feel grandparents and great grandparents take kids for school clothes yearly and that more stores should adapt to it. Thankfully neither my mom or I use a scooter or wheelchair because there isn’t enough room to be able to get to all the different racks. I hope to see stores adapt to this before we are unable and then online shop only. Which then takes away the joyful experience that parents and grandparents have doing in store shopping. We love to see the clothes and the smiles on our children and grandchildren’s faces.

Got some great deals at an old American icon. JCPENNEY! I got a couple of great Shirt and pant combos on clearance for cheap!!! Dont miss out on the deals!

Poor customer service on floor employees really seem more interested in avoiding customers. Poor product selection. You wonder why people shop online.

Went into get Jeans. Good selection. Good variety of clothes, shoes and belts for all ages. Household items and other miscellaneous home goods. Greeted at the door with a smile. Friendly at checkout. Some lines depending on the day and times. Store is clean. If your VACCINATED you dont need a mask.

We like this store but this review is regarding their portrait studio. Today we had pictures taken of our 8 year old daughter. Since there is no real school, there are no real school pictures.... We had to come up with an alternative. The young lady helping us out was great. She worked well with our daughter. She didnt try to up-sell us anything which I APPRECIATE! The price for the one hour photo shoot and digital images was only $99 (plus $20 for some nice collages!)(I suppose you could say that was an up-sell, but we didnt mind :). I think they have really great prices for really great pictures. Great job!

JC Penny is the equivalent to a terrible car dealership. Only a handful of things to choose from in each department. When you find something you do like youre paying full price for last years model. Then you have the cashiers who only want to gossip and tell you how horrible their manager is. Its really just an overall awkward experience that leaves you broke.

The District Manager was running the optical shop and got me a great deal on two pair of glasses.

Would have given them a higher rating had I been able to try on my clothes prior to purchase

Im very disappointed in how youve trained your employees to harass people about getting a credit card. I work retail too, so I understand its always our job to ask those questions and offer customers the best experience, but there are boundaries. I was waiting in line and overheard an employee at the customer service counter offering a credit card. The customer said no twice and explained how she just recently lost her job and doesnt need a credit card. The employees response was, Oh, you dont need a job to get a credit card. The customer continued to say no about 2 more times after that until the employee finally let it go. I was shocked at the lack of empathy she displayed. It really upset me and I can only imagine how that customer felt in that moment. It truly makes me never want to shop here again.

It was good...especially for it being Christmas Eve. Went to the salon first, which is always fun ..I love my beautician Miha! Then, I was helped by a very nice young lady, the cashier by the bath & bedding area. She set aside some rugs I wanted to buy on my way back from the mall. I came back through and was helped again by a very nice young man (Assoc #0280, who rang me up. Just a very pleasant experience. Both associates at that register are an asset to your team.

Pennies was having a really awesome clearance sale..but if you a average size lady then dont go..Im a size 2-3 and found very few items in my size..sizes were like 10-11. 22-28..large n Xtra large..thinking maybe getting rid of their overstock of those sizes..had basically no size four n under...,.just found out that they have complete sizes of these sales on line..not the clearance ..but the 50% and better sales

Sadly, I recommend never shopping online at JC Penny and picking up at store. I did that for some nice-looking towels on sale which were not available in-store. When they arrived, the dye lot was all over the place. I returned them, thinking all was good. Then, looking at my receipt later, I noticed that $6 from each of the 3 towels ($18!) was not refundable. ?? Was trying to support a local shop. Its not like *I* changed my mind - the merchandise was substandard, something I would have seen IN the store, had the item been available there. Nope, not making that mistake again.

Had my order shipped to store to avoid shipping charges. Walk in and pick up items and leave. I had no time to do extra shopping. Very convenient.

Dont have alot stuff to but they shoes are mostly gone and the clothings as well.

I ordered shoes for a very special occasion and knew it would get here barely on time. What I got in the mail today were pants and not my shoes. I contacted customer service to see what they do could do to fix this problem and was told that they could charge me again to order more shoes that I could pick up in store and get refunded when I go instore. It doesnt make sense to charge someone for a mistake you made jcpenny you should be able to just hold the item that I already purchased for me since you never gave it. I would strongly suggest notOrdering online from jcpenny what a huge inconvenience. Shame on you. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Great selection of clothes for kids of all ages, great price and return policy

JCPenny struggles from the same plague as its counterpart Macys. As an old dog in clothing retail they have to adjust marketing, conduct more enticing sales and bring in more affordable items for purchase. Wal-Mart is limited by its cheaply made clothing, some is good and others are not. Amazon conducts no traditional sales, they take a cut in profits from some items that they sale cheaper which are usually in great quantities and make up money from prime membership and other unmarked down products. I believe they still have a place if they adapt and are strategic.

Really bad experience shopping. The cashiers were not friendly and the lead was assertive admitted wrong pricing and then proceeded to mention that she wasn’t honoring a price. Blamed the price mistake on the merchandising team, such a great way of throwing “your” team under the bus. Overall a horrible experience with an unprofessional and immature “manager”. Explains why JCPenney is going the way of toys r us and blockbuster. Sad because they have had so many bankruptcy protections they should have had time to overhaul their management and staffing. Should be easy for anyone to get a job there as they seem to hire people with no customer service experience off the street.

If your not a frequent shopper here then you gotta go and check out their clearance racks. Awesome choices and organized by size. Bought 4 shirts retail $150. I got them for $16.00.

Tai in Mens apparel was exceptional! He was able to get me a great deal on some business clothes while being very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. (Note: I tried to provide my feedback via the JCPenney survey on the bottom of the receipt, but the access code already expired. (I guess they count the date of purchase as day 1 when they say the access code will be valid for 7 days...)

I went in looking for a new pair of shoes when I arrived it was kind of surprised that the shoe for men Department was pretty messy its like nobody been in there to straighten it out his I was looking around trying to find something because I have a large foot and why which normally they dont have many styles woman a clerk at the store came up and helped she was very cordial and very helpful and we were able to find a pair that I was satisfied with I thank you for my help and enjoy being in the store it was a little confusing getting in yeah I guess you have to go around the back I dont live near there and we had that was my first time at the store everything was good okay

All was good until two differrnt ladies came up to us about 40 min before closing time and asked us to proceed to the only checkout open so they could leave

Cheap made clothing for to high a price.

The check out clerk by the towels department was rude because we asked for a discount on the items we bought, while other check out clerks in the same store were always happy to scan the store coupon or use the coupon on their computer screen, This lady clerk was grumpy about it.

A great place to cool off on a hot day. Wonderful atmosphere and they are all very helpful associates. JCPenney has a ton of different neat things to offer besides clothing. Also check out their clearance great deals to choose from. I enjoy just walking around and seeing what they have in each section. Browse around and enjoy yourself.

So this store is really good with the clothing department but if you are wanting like other things then I would go somewhere else. I went in for a phone case not that long ago, they only had 4 in the whole store and none were the size of my phone all were like 7s

Great haircut and shampoo prices

Its an older store and kind of closed in, and its kind of dark like shopping in a dungeon. But I spend a lot of money there. All and all this is one of my more liked stores...I like the merchandise here. The prices here are more reasonable and you get more of what you pay for. They also dont cater to the older generation....mostly to the younger generation. Hello out there....we are your customers too...we matter too....cater to us once in a while. They need to have a buyer for 50+.

A nice enough place to walk around, with not too many other customers shopping around you. These kind of places are going the way of the dinosaur. They still keep it nice and have decent deals once in awhile... Its worth checking out. You might be surprised with the deals and high quality of the clothes sold here.

Always find some little clearance item that brings up for lessons on the tag always a happy little moment before me. Good quality stuff and dont have to worry about it falling apart on you reasonably priced. Also give five stars for their salon awesome said ladies

They lady who did our family pictures was all over the place. I wanted 1 family photo and 1 with my boyfriend. This lady did not do that it call. I left in tears because of how bad it was

I come here to go to the salon. I found my stylist Amanda here almost 4 years ago now. She is absolutely amazing and there are a couple other fantastic ladies as well that have been there for many years. I have since moved out of the area and still drive 3 hours to come see Amanda to get my hair done thats how awesome she is. The salon has friendly helpful people that will match you up with a stylus that suits your needs.

Went into the Olympia Store today 04/24/2021 @3:30 and the Lady at the till in the Home department did EVERYTHING SHE COULD NOT TO GIVE ME A COUPON!! I asked her for a Manager to help and He was JUST AS BAD AS HER!!Been in there many times before and the Employees help me find a Coupon! Troubling and Disturbing if I might say! Coupons are to bring people in your store!

Went to the store for their buy one sandal get 2 free sale and the shelves were empty. Friendly staff and great sales. I am a tall woman,511and my best friend is only 52they always have clothes that can fit both of us. So nice to not have to go searching for two different specialty shops to find clothes.
