I bought a used car a few weeks ago, drove great, few days later it left me stranded. Of all the other automotive repair places I went with Lloyd’s based on the stellar reviews. Those reviews are not wrong. Eric goes above and beyond for his customers. My car broke down again and they arranged for a tow back to their shop to figure it out the problem I have great confidence they will fix it. Very professional, honest and I will recommend this place to all.

They rebuilt our 29 year old automatic transmission. Eric had a certain brand of parts he wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Being an older transmission sourcing parts was a bit tricky. However, when done everything is perfect. We use the vehicle as a daily driver as well as our goto 4x4 rig for hunting. It has proven very reliable on the street as well as the mountains. Well established business with knowledgeable, professional staff who provide consistent, highest quality automotive repair. Over the decades, we have had them replace transmissions on two different vehicles with great results each time. In August 2021 they replaced the transmission on our Ford C-Max Hybrid. They had to take the whole drive train apart but were able to make repairs in a couple weeks while the dealer couldnt get to us for a couple months. Wed certainly recommend Lloyds to our friends!!

We took our 11 year old Subaru to Lloyds after it was practically undrivable, and didnt know what was wrong. We were so happy to find Lloyds in this time when a lot of shops were backed up with no availability and concerned that parts would take forever to get in stock. They took care of us, quickly diagnosed that the turbo had gone out and had it back to us, working better than it has in years, in under a week. Service was top notch and pricing was reasonable. No question we will come back for any future needs for both of our cars, Lloyds is great!

I had an issue with a mouse dying in the blower motor of my car. Since I couldnt get the dealership to return my calls (or even get a live human) I asked someone I trusted and they recommended Lloyds. I have a 1994 Celica GT4, this is an all wheel drive car imported from Japan. Lloyds replaced the clutch. Being as the car is 27 years old anf an extremely difficult clutch replacement I had a very hard time finding a garage to do this job. Lloyds took it on and did an excellent job getting this car done. The price was a very pleasant surprise as well. I cant recommend this garage enough. I will definitely be using them in the future.

I’ve used this shop a couple of times now, both for relatively major repairs, and I am very happy with the repairs performed and the value I received. Great communication, some thing that is hard to find in this business, and it truly makes a huge difference. They like to fix things correctly, no duct tape and bubble gum here!

I have used Lloyd’s Automotive for many different services they have offered. Polite, friendly, timely and professional are the least I can say about this business. I am very particular because unfortunately I have used those shady automotive repair places in the past. I have not had ,not one , issue with any of his or his family of mechanics work. I trust Lloyds Automotive to take care of my business and personal vehicles. The price is fair. You won’t find the same vehicle in his parking lot for weeks just to act like they are busy. I was pulling my 2005 mustang out of a five year storage and getting it road ready. The transmission had some shifting issues so I took it to Lloyds. Eric was very pleasant to work with and he gave me some options on how to proceed. A simple drain, flush and refill dealt with most of the problems. He identified some possible future issues to watch for that can easily wait for now. It is running great and am very happy with the results.. Frank W

I had some engine work done on my beloved 2002 Xterra by another shop, which caused the transmission to display all kinds of issues. Brought it back to the place 3 times and they told me I had a bad transmission. I went to Lloyd’s, who got me in promptly (I was headed on a road trip) and within a couple of hours they fixed the problem the other shop created and had me on the road for a flawless driving vacation. Turns out the other shop’s technicians didn’t have the knowledge to figure things out. So Lloyd’s, I can’t thank you enough for the peace of mind on the road trip with my Xterra. You guys know your business!

It was the first hot day last week, on 4/15. My A/C has been broken for a year and I just could not take another spring/summer without it. I called, talked to Eric, and they were able to get me in the very next day, 4/16, for an estimate. I dropped it off in the morning and Eric called me around 2pm giving me a quote (which was hundreds of dollars less than Id budgeted.) I was going to have my husband fix the A/C once we knew what the issue was, but this was a no-brainer. I said lets get it done and Eric said it would be done by the end of the day. I picked it up around 530 and I could not be happier! There is nothing like turning up the A/C on a hot day and I am so mad at myself that I didnt get it fixed sooner! I chose Lloyds due to their great reviews and they provided me the same quality, high caliber service.

They are always busy with lots of business, I feel confident that they will be around for a long time. I tend to derp alot and they are accommodating to re-explain things and I never feel like Im being rushed out. Im happy with them for many years now.

Had them do a major repair on a differential that was damaged by a Thurston County Transmission shop. Also, flushed the trans and installed a driveshaft. Work was done well. Communication was good.

My car broke down on I-5 outside Olympia on a weekend as I was driving home to Seattle. AAA recommended having the car towed to Lloyds Automotive. When I called the next morning and talked to Eric he was helpful and reassuring. I was relieved by the reasonable amount he quoted me to check and see what was wrong. He got back to me that afternoon having found that it was a relatively small and inexpensive problem and he gave me a quote to fix it. Which he did by the next day. The whole experience of working with Eric was great. I am impressed by his professionalism, his honesty and also his kindness. If I lived in Olympia I would take my car to Lloyds!

I cant imagine finding a better place to take my vehicles for service. The first time I brought my truck to Loyds it was for a second quote for a wheel bearing. Lloyds estimate was much more affordable so I went with them. They had the honesty and integrity to call me the next morning to tell me the TRUTH: There was nothing wrong with my wheel bearing! The dealership was trying to rip me off and the good people at Lloyds saved me hundreds of dollars! The second time I brought my truck to Lloyds a check engine light had come on when I was on my way out of town for a business trip. They rushed my truck in and had a diagnosis and plan within a few hours. They got me back to work within just a couple days!! Again, saving me a bunch of money! I am so very grateful to them and I will be bringing all of my vehicles to them in the future!

I have a 1964 Ford 100 which arrived after a 2800 mile shipment with the clutch severely out of joint. Lloyd’s did a great job finding the problem, restoring the old clutch, double checking it. I am happy to have my truck back. I trust Lloyd’s and I am glad to have had their help.

My experience with Lloyd’s Auto was brief but was hassle free and informative. After explaining what I believed to be happening with my Ford Explorer, I had a diagnosis ran which showed the problems I was having. They discussed this with me over the phone and explained the cause and effect of certain issues with my fuel system. They made recommendations I found helpful and I believe the prices to be fair.

I had not known about Lloyds before, but they were the only shop I talked to who could take on a big project in tough times. Very good work.

They listen to me and did the work beyond my expectation. They took the time to explained what they were doing and show my what they were doing. Lloyds installed vintage air in my 1967 Ford Galaxie 500XL, adjusted my carburetor and fixed some leaks for me. They treated my baby with kit gloves and I will return to them anytime I need work done on her.

I had over 3000$ worth of work done here and was shocked when one of my brakes fell apart. I am seriously suggesting going somewhere else as this could have caused a major accident. The bolts were not tightened after this shop did the brakes and I heard a noise. When I took the tire off the caliper was hanging thereAlso the transmission issue that I originally brought it in for was never fixed.I feel as if they saw a woman in me and took full advantage. Well thanks for nothing but almost killing me and my whole family. Hopefully, there is a trustworthy shop in Olympia...but this isnt it!!

Received quotes from 4 different shops and Lloyds was the best one. Had the transmission flushed and the leak repaired. Friendly and professional. They are a 12 minute walk from the office, so I will definitely be a returning customer.

I came to Lloyds with a Borg Warner M46 transmission. To anyone that is familiar with this unique transmission, and vintage Volvos for that matter, youll know that the process of rebuilding an M46 is not an easy task, and can be quite complicated.Lloyds however was more than willing to take on this job, and was able to completely reseal the main gear box and the Laylock J-Type overdrive. The job only took two days for their technician to complete!I would reccomend Lloyds to anyone looking for a quality experience. They are professional, their work is quality and thorough, and the pricing is fair.

Lloyds went above and beyond to inspect my vehicle for me and inform me of any concerns. They communicated with me and gave me options and pricing before work was completed. I had a part malfunction after they did extensive work to my vehicle. It may or may not have been affected by their work, but they happily towed my vehicle back to their shop and replaced all bad parts at their expense. They were great at putting customer service above all else, and I honestly am very impressed.

I have a 2003 Mercedes. I was taking it to the Mercedes dealership and paying a fortune for regular maintenance. Someone suggested Lloyds, and I gave them a try. Im more than satisfied with the work they do, the customer service, and the attention they give me and my car. They can do almost anything the dealership can do, at a lesser price, and no snobby attitude.

Got my veichle fixed paid got home to find out what i paid for wasnt fixed... Took it back they refixed that issue to leave not get even 2 miles to find out now my radiator supposedly had a hole... Could have been a coincidence or they wanted me to pay t o fix my heater twice and couldnt find another way... Pretty fishy...

Had issues with my clutch and flywheel completely going on me; Eric, the owner, worked with my warranty company to cover more than half of the total cost and had the car done days before I had expected it. I had them work on an issue with the idle on my old Honda. When I had to bring it back for a continuing idle issue I mentioned that I was unhappy being charged for the diagnosis when it should have been caught during my first visit that included over $1000 worth of work. They worked with me and reduced the price of this second visit by more than half. Previous work done there was satisfactory.UPDATE 5/25/17: The service manager called to see what they could do to make things right after reading this review. That is a nice touch and I will keep that in mind when its time for my next service. Ive changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars for the effort.

We took our little 57 met to Lloyds because it was not shifting into high range, and it was dieseling when we shut it off. They were able to adjust the cable that controls the shift. We were pleased with that. That and doing diagnostic on engine cost us $260. which we felt was a little high.However, we were told that we needed a complete tune up, plugs, plug wires, rotor, distributor cap. The price quoted to us was over $350. labor, parts, and shipping on parts.I opted instead to do the tune-up myself. None of the parts were in excessive wear. The parts cost just about $50. and the time to replace them was 15 minutes.We have five vehicles that need work occasionally. one would require major repair. We will not be using Lloyds in the future in spite of the good reviews that we heard.

I had originally written a review based on a poor experience with an employee. But after a unexpected and extremely customer service orientated email directly from the owner i felt compelled to re-rate this location. The customer service that was given to someone who was not even a customer is quite refreshing and honestly unheard of. Thank you!Called to get a quote/time frame on some unique work. Spoke with a guy who was rude from the beginning when i had to call him back because he had hung up on me. Refused to give me any kind of time frame or price quote. I understand that this may be unique work but at least have the sense to try and obtain the customer or portray some kind of customer service.

I never got work done here, because the guy working seemed so dishonest. They never want to give you a direct quote over the phone, and then when they do, its really more of a guesstimate. That is what they told me when the work I needed would be several hundred dollars over the quoted price. Plus, the guy working there is super condescending. Women should definitely stay away from this place! He scoffed in my face when I asked simple questions about the car, and about his inflated price.

Absolutely outstanding customer service. They went above and beyond to fix our chevy and helped us out in a unfortunate situation. AAA recommended them to us and we couldnt have went to a better place to get our car fixed!

I Appreciate the diligence of Eric the owner to make sure my Differential got fixed properly. They stood behind there work!!

They sold us a $5200 rebuilt transmission with a warranty our car broke down repeatedly with the new transmission. Llyods claimed they didnt know why. I cannot recommend spending money at this transmission shop our car was not fixed properly and was unusable after the work they performed.
