Showed up at 11:17 on a Sunday since they open at 11 and 3 people standing at door and no one in the store to work. Tried calling and then a worker comes up and asked if no one is inside told her no. She did apologize and you can tell felt bad said that someone else was supposed to open and she was to be there at 11 but guess she didn’t show up. Now sitting in car waiting for her to get the store up and running so we can go inside. I feel bad for the girl who is running around to try and get it opened but this is horrible customer service you’re employees don’t show up to work and you have a line of customers waiting to come in. Even the girl who was to be here at 11 was late didn’t even show up until the 11:17 mark.

The employees are the best. They treat you as they have known you forever. There is an employee (Gloria) that has a smile on her face every time you enter the store. I like that I can go into the store and find what I need. Thank you

All the gals at Sport Clips recommended Sallys. I spoke to Janice (Janet?) over the phone and she recommended the perfect trimmer for my dog and another for my beard. They have both worked extremely well, exactly as promised, and were not the most expensive ones they could have recommended. Janice and the gal that took care of the purchase in the store were very professional, friendly, and pleasant to work with. I was given a detailed explanation of the return policy, which is a very reasonable 60 days with receipt. Thank you guys!

L have frequented this location a handful of times a year for the past 8 years. I have never had anyone be outwardly rude to me but it is certainly not ever a welcoming or enthusiastic staff for sure. That doesnt bother me as much as how consistently everytime I have been in there the stench of cigarettes radiates from the back room. It is nauseating, distracting and makes me not want to buy anything, or if I have to, wipe down or throw away packaging as soon as possible. And I was understanding it wasnt legal in the state of Kansas.

Watch out! One of the employees there that roams the store helping people is NOT wearing a mask, and she is sneezing, sniffing, clearing her throat, and letting out big sighs.

I love this sallys! I always get the best help. Every time i have a question they do their best to help me. This includes picking out hair colors which is a very big ordeal of course. My go to beauty shop

They do not deserve even one star. This store has gone from worse to worst store in this area. The employees are rude, have no clue about anything and they seem like someone forced them to come to work. It us the last time that I will be shopping at this store, I cannot spend my money where people have zero customer service, zero product knowledge and zero respect for their customers. It is an ignorance of understanding that if these customers stop shopping your store will be closing. I wont be surprised if this store closes within 2 years for lack of customers.They failed to honor a coupon that was clearly attached to the product, and the excuse given by this clueless, exasperated employee was that she did not know how to honor that coupon and there was no manager on site...BS. I could write more since this is not the first time that I experienced something like this but it will be the last.

They carry what I need for dying my hair and at a really good price. For that alone I would be willing to give 5 stars, but the other products actually take them down. For a beauty supply store the selection of makeup is almost nonexistent and for being off-brand mediocre products they cost as much as or more than what you can get at a local drug store, where you wouldnt have to worry about age of the product affecting quality. There is a larger selection of nail polish in relation to the makeup, but quality not so great and waxes... I bought a $12 very small yet supposedly good bucket of hot wax, it was apparently so old, or hot/cold affected that it wouldnt melt, at all. Youre not suppose to heat more than 60 secs, just to see what would happen I put it I the microwave 6 times for 45 second and it barely became pliable enough to get the spreader stick stuck. I didnt bother taking it back. The hair dye and supplies are the only reason to go there. They should consider a name change to Sallys Hair Supply.

I have been to this store 3 times now and they always treat me rudely. Im always nice and polite to these ladies. I do not understand why they have to be this way. I will not be returning to this store. I recommend one of the stores in Overland Park, Ive received much better treatment.

This is the worst Sally’s I have EEEEEEVER been to. The staff is so unhelpful and RUDE. I simply asked about a coupon I had received in an email and the girl working the counter told me I couldn’t use it with a pro discount while the coupon in question said it could be used!I asked for a manager and he words were“fine but she’s just gonna tell you the same thing. If you have a problem with it I suggest you call Sally’s, we didn’t put it out there ourselves”Hateful much!!!I left there angry and I won’t be returning!!!

Incredibly helpful staff - everyone takes the time to provide product explanations (if requested) and will legit explain why any given product is priced higher than another. Great product selection as well!

3 staff and they could see I needed help. Not one of them would help, but instead chose to stay up front and discuss their toenails

I love Sallys but this particular location is horrible when it comes to customer service. You walk in the store and they look at you like you are an alien instead of asking if you need help with anything. Yes African Americans do shop at Sallys. This is the only location that Ive had this experience. Grandview, MO, Maryland, Raleigh, NC all great! Olathe, KS horrible!!!

Gloria and Wendy who work at the Olathe location are the rudest sales associates ever. Not only did they not acknowledge me when I came in with my daughter, but one walked right passed me and didnt even ask if I needed help. One of the ladies was helping a lady who i was standing right next to waiting for my turn. I waited at the counter for 5 minutes for someone to say hello, can I help you, but that never happened. They had the nerve to get offended at me for asking them if I was invisible, and they really tried to make excususes for why they didnt see me. Im standing right at the counter.....howwww can you not see me?!?! Im literally an arms length away, but they cant see me. I will never go back to that place and I will advise everyone else not to go there as well. #ShutThemDown

Great place to get supplies for your hair, nails, make up, wax, etc. Much cheaper than Beauty Brands.

I went to buy products to highlight my hair, I have med/dark brown hair. I bought the wella Carmel and asked the sales person what else I needed she said developer. So I grabbed one and said is this one ok, she said yes. Long story short, not one shade of difference in my hair. I guess I was supposed to use a bleach developer... thanks glad spent $30 for nothing!!

Dont deal with Aziza she is very rude and likes yelling at at a child that was not doing anything just looking at the balls that have hair ties in them .And she thinks she knows it all very bad attitude

Went there 4 times each time customer service is rude and unhelpful. They ignore you and have attitudes. Asked for help, useless. Did what they told me to, insisting I was wrong, and now my hair is thin as fur with no color.
