Be very careful working with Acme. If they make a mistake they are not going to help you, they expect you to deal with it and they expect you to pay any extra expenses that their mistake may cause. Very unusual business practices. Just make sure you know exactly what you need and exactly how much you need. If you have a hunch that something with your order may not be correct, then make sure you diligently look into it. If something goes wrong and you do not get exactly what you ordered or you did not get enough material, it does not matter if it was their mistake or not, you will pay the price. They are not going to jump through hoops to help you and make things right. They are nice people to a certain extent, the customer service is definitely not their thing.

We visited the store as we were hoping for an expert opinion, and took in a sample of the mortar color. We looked at color samples, and the guy helping us sent us away with n-type mortar, and red dye. We were told to use less red dye with the mortar to achieve the color that was on the color sample. We hardly used any dye on our project at all, and it turned our mortar joints purple. We feel like this guy was just trying to get rid of us, or had no clue what he was doing. Look at the stone vs the mortar dye he gave us. Thanks for making our project that much more difficult.

If you are expecting a standard 21st century service where a retailer gives you estimated delivery date, a tracking mechanism, trade in options, etc.... you might as well forget about Acme Brick. The only good experience with this place was my initial walk in where Ken the salesman actually gave me a veneer stone to take home so that I could make a decision. I thought that was great. I did make a decision and placed my order. From there it was down the hill.Instead of the initial estimate of 2 weeks it was exactly 5 weeks before my order was delivered. I made 2 attempts to call Ken the salesman. My questions were very straightforward: is there a tracking mechanism? Anyway I could get an estimated arrival? the answer was a very simple no. 5 weeks later my contractor couldnt just sit around and wait for my stone to arrive so he had to take another job so it was more like 8 week delay in the initial order.Then.. as my contractor was installing the actual product he found that hearthstone piece was stained and there was nothing he could do to get it off. So at this point I loath dealing with this company but I am stuck to call Ken, my favorite person and ask him what they could do about it. I asked him if I could send him a picture of the damaged product and if there was anything he could do to please give me a call. NO CALL. I WENT DOWN there a couple of days later as I didnt want to hold up my contractor. Lovely Mr. Ken (my absolute favorite at this point) informed me that he had received my email, he just hadnt bothered to email or call me back but he had contacted the wholesaler to see if that damaged piece could be replaced. That was ..oh.. mare 2.5 weeks ago... without a word from my wonderful Mr. Ken who seems to only work there because hes in the retirement mode and simply doesnt want to be bored.Im sorry, if I provided this type of service to my employer I would be long fired. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!absolutely hated this experience.

No, this is not the same Acme that Wile E coyote used to buy all of his paraphernalia in order to catch the roadrunner. This is an entirely different company. They sell brick and tile, and if you find yourself in the date for Brick & Tile this is a pretty good place to go. They are friendly and helpful, and the service is pretty good.

I only needed a small amount of tile for patchwork and I left a message for a sales person telling him exactly what I needed and how much. They never called me back, guess I wasnt worth their time so I took my business somewhere else. They might do good business but Ill never be able to find out.

If you have any issues calling and getting a response or someone from the office to help resolve is impossible. Their customer service was terrible and when we ask for manager Brian he was very unhelpful and very rude.
