Awesome experience from the beginning except until the end once my vehicle was delivered and was missing its rubber floor mats that came with it. Other than that I was fortunate enough to have a very professional salesman in Nathanial who made my purchase a breeze. He took the time to make sure I had the best car shopping experience even from 1500 miles away. We have purchased two new vehicles from this dealership in the last 90 days. A 2022 Ford Maverick truck (on order), and a 2021 Ford Mustang Mock-E (which by the way is the most incredible car I have ever seen or driven. We were going to buy a Tesla Model 3, however the Mock-E outperformed the Tesla in every category. Ford has come a long way with the usability engineering on both the dashboard controls as well as the software, both are outstanding. The Ford app was simple to install and configure and within a few minutes we could unlock and start the Mock-E , as well as monitor its charge status.The sales team (Alex and Daniel) were outstanding in meeting our time schedules and helping us select the right vehicles for our needs and the finance person was incredible too, as he explained our options very clearly regarding financing, and extended warranty options. I highly recommend this dealership!

He was able to work with me over the phone and have everything ready when we arrived. Overall, I am extremely happy with every experience we have had with Joe Cooper. Have an issue with a car I purchased on 09/03. Still haven’t had any success in getting it repaired. I keep getting the run around and have been told many times by sales managers they would call me back and they NEVER DO. Had it back in the shop last Monday with still no resolution and still waiting on that call back I was promised. This was the first time I purchased from Joe Cooper and it will be the last.

I am not sure why I fill these out as they never do any good........I am only giving them two stars due to the customer service I received. I ordered a new 2022 F450 through Ford Motor Company online and picked the nearest dealership for delivery. This truly was the most unorganized group I have ever worked with no customer service. When my truck arrived at the dealership they never notified me. I had to do all the legwork to locate and find the vehicle I ordered. Then I had an “assigned” sales person that had that used car salesman personality, I requested someone else to work with and I had no luck. At this point my “assigned” sales person just left. I finally found someone who did help me complete the process and he was very helpful. If I was ever asked if I would send someone to Joe Cooper Ford Edmond, sadly I would have to say No. I am very happy with my new Ford Truck and please with the quality of this truck. This is the first Ford I have ever owned and so far so good.

This is not my first experience with Joe Cooper Ford. I used to go to the location in Midwest City for service. My fiancé and I went looking for a vehicle for her. We found a vehicle online but they did not have this particular vehicle at their Edmond location. The salesman (Stephen) quickly located the vehicle at another store and arranged a date and time to be delivered to Edmond location. The salesman was straight forward and did not try to fool us. He gave us our options up front and helped us get to a price that worked for us. Overall, we had a very good experience and would recommend this dealership to others. We are eager to see how their service department does in the years to come.

🏴 DO NOT BUY NEW VEHICLES FROM JOE COOPER EDMOND !! 🏴Very disappointed in the service department !! Purchased a brand new vehicle and had some added accessories installed ($1500). Had problems with both rear fender flares. Took in my vehicle in at two different times for problem to be fixed. Clips seem to be defective as they are still popping off. Rick Rayborn assured me he would look into it for me and get back with an answer solution. That was 3 weeks ago. Never heard back from him, but I was not surprised either. It seems they are quick to sell you a vehicle but the service department does not address any issues you have after you sign at the dotted line. My son just purchased a brand new Ford F-150 , but I sent him to the Guthrie location instead. So BUYER BEWARE at Joe Cooper of Edmond. Seems like the service department need a repair themselves for better service after the fact.

I’ve recommend Alex and Stephen. They don’t want to sell you anything. They want to find a vehicle for you, they live to hook you up. I’d tell my family to buy from them, but they are out of state. Alex and Stephen have a customer for life. You won’t meet kinder souls, I’m a veteran and they did all they could for deals. I love these guys. I will always be back. Steven was very friendly, helpful and personable. The process was quick. Other places I have been to in the past to buy car was an all day process, but at Joe Cooper Ford the process only took a few hours that includes looking at vehicles and test driving.

The worst of the worst. Me and my husband have bought two cars here. The service department is an absolute joke. They call to tell my husband his truck his ready, he rushes over to pick it up and they say oh it’s actually at a different dealership and they’re closed now. No one could have told him it was at a different dealership? Extremely unprofessional. Also, both vehicles I’ve bought have both had issues not even a month after buying. Definitely do not recommend these vehicles or dealership to anyone.

This is by far the worst buying experience I’ve ever had. I bought a 2016 F250 from these people a month ago and had truck transported to Raleigh NC. Upon arriving the truck was deleted and tuned with no tuner included, not to mention 3 of the tires had dryrooted and big rubber chunks missing. It got even better they listed it as a PFG 10 inch lift only to discover it had a 6 inch rough country lift instead which is a 10k difference. They offered me a check for $2500.00 stating this was more than enough to replace the 38x15.50x22 inch tires and a thousand dollar tuner, not mention stating they never said it was a 10 inch life or that the brand was PFG. Lies on insults to say the least. Lastly and most importantly they sold the truck without ever even servicing the oil or fuel filters and the steering has all sorts of issues requiring 2200.00 in repairs here at Lee Ford of Wilson NC, where the truck continues to sit because the extended warranty I was sold By Joe Edmunds Ford will not honor the repairs!This is a Very Very Dishonest and untrustworthy dealership and I would never buy from them again not to mention I have every intention of suing these people under the lemon law Act as well as false advertisement.Buyers Beware!!!!!

So far so good. I wasnt too impressed with the sales tactics, definitely need an upgrade in that department. Really wish I would have gone through Paul L. he is a professional and will get the best fit for you. Took my car in for an oil change and the experience was above and beyond, the service department creates what should be the standard for all areas of customer service, a great experience and all it took was a simple car wash after an oil change, I am truly amazed. The little things matter.

Overall the car buying experience was fine, I picked the vehicle I wanted out online. My issue was I noticed a pretty significant gap in the paint along the windshield less than 24hrs after purchasing the vehicle. When I took it back they told me that because they couldn’t see the damage in their photos they weren’t willing to do anything about it.This gap in the paint is not something I would have been able to do in less than 24hrs

Wow amazing efforts. I called plenty of dealerships all over Oklahoma and no one really wanted to put forth an effort to sell a car. This dealership is the full package and down to earth people I couldn’t believe it what a breath of FRESH AIR to deal with straight up just down to earth good people . I really am so happy with my choice on a brand new 2021 explorer. They brought me a rental in the mean time whole waiting for my new car. What a blessing this was as I had just moved to Oklahoma and had two babies I needed to take around to appointments I really appreciated all the effort by Jason and Steven. I am completely So happy at how nice they were for my mom and I over our talks. I have to give these guys a one star review. I spent the day yesterday and was just about to sign the dotted line on a purchase of an F250 but had to get up and walk. I just don’t trust these guys. First, they are not able to effectively articulate why the vehicle I’m considering is $9,500 above the NADA valuation, which is the dealership authority on pricing based off of vehicle, mileage, locality, and even microeconomic factors (yes, even the chip shortage from 2020/21), supply and demand, etc. But they will think of every reason not to honor it, but unfortunately without any real convincing logic. For the educated buyer, they prefer you don’t come in. All along the way, our dealer, trying to create the most honest impression of himself (of course) will tell you everything they think you want to hear, whether it’s true or not. But used dealers are used car dealers. They haven’t changed a bit since the 80s.The final straw, and what caused me to get up and walk out, was their financing team. Offered to replace the rear wheel well liners if I’d finance through them which effect meant spending thousands and thousands of dollars in the long run for a $200 part.Negotiating financing was a total joke: our dealer running back and forth to some guy behind a curtain, coming back with hypothetical monthly payments despite my plea to just show me the damn interest rate! I finally said sorry. Maybe I’ll go to a credit union and get my own loan (tip: ALWAYS do this before you come in to buy a car or truck), and finally the man behind the curtain came out, warned us that they will be pulling our credit again! And we said thanks for the tip and left.Bottom line, these guys are the same used car dealers when you think about all the sleazy used car dealership tactics that they’ve earned a reputation for.Buyers, beware. They are in business for themselves only. Definitely not you. Shame on you, Joe Cooper. You run a sleazy operation.

Joe Cooper Ford of Edmond is a stereotypical dealership, which isnt all too surprising. Take for instance the below screenshots; one made from their own website before a scheduled test drive of a used vehicle, and the other about 30 minutes after the test drive was over. Shortly after agreeing to purchase the vehicle and just before the paperwork process, the salesman oddly asked what the online price was. I pulled up the website on my phone to find the price had magically increased by $3,028 within a half hour period. Standard bait and switch, which is normal for less reputable dealerships but surprising from such an established dealership as Joe Cooper.Despite sales blaming management, management blaming Internet Sales, and Internet Sales blaming 3rd party website hosting, I chose to leave and cant see myself returning for any future purchases. This is unfortunate because the vehicles on site were nice, the staff was friendly, and everything was very clean. The new price posted wasnt all that bad either and had that been what was listed at the time, I still would have come in.Trust in any transaction is critical, especially when it comes to a large purchase such as a vehicle. If a group is willing to operate like this before papers are even drawn, it is a fair guess that their dishonesty will follow through the rest of the process. But hey, at least they were kind enough to thank for my service before lying to me. Thats got to count for something.But, as I said, Joe Cooper Ford is pretty much what people have come to expect from sales at a dealership, so come prepared if you desire to come at all. I doubt my experience or review will change the dealerships business methods, but if you are reading this and considering a purchase, maybe save yourself a few hours of your life and look elsewhere.(Note: No personal details including names of staff are included in this review. My experience at Joe Cooper Ford was a mixed bag. The sales reps that I dealt with, Chris and Curtis, were very helpful and answered my questions in a timely manner. Chris had asked me if I would be willing to visit their finance department because they could usually get a better interest rate since banks compete for their business. I agreed since I have really good credit and only wanted my credit ran once.However, my experience went majorly south when I was taken to the finance department and introduced to Joe Gibson. He became very disrespectful and rude when I declined to purchase the extended warranty he was trying to hard- core sell me and offered me an interest rate only .02 percent less than I had been offered by my local credit union. When I asked if that was the best offer, because Chris had said that I should be able to get a better rate, he said, well, you arent dealing with Chris now, you are dealing with ME. I explained to him that Ford had always been very good to me over the years and he sarcastically said, oh yeah, you think Ford will take care of you?? If that was the case, they would offer a 50, 000 mile warranty like other manufacturers do.My advice would be to have your financing prearranged or if you decide to go there, avoid this employee. No one should have their joy of having a new vehicle diminished by a bad emplyee.

Totally forgot to review them for so long but here it is. IIve had nothing but good experiences here. From buying my Chevy Cruze here almost a year ago to having it serviced here a few times including today. Friendly staff, polite, and professional! Especially today, besides doing the usual Oil and tire rotation they even gave her a rinse!! Im not sure if they just rinsed it or gave it a quick wash but my car was looking great afterwards! 10/10 would probably buy my future truck here and will continue to come for all car related stuff!

Went to multiple dealerships closer to our home and in Norman, and NO ONE was willing to negotiate. We came in and Carlos took great care of us! They were willing to negotiate, and even added remote start to our vehicle and a ozone treatment due to the vehicle being smoked in. They worked with us every step of the way. Curtis and Levi ( I think his name is) and all the staff were courteous and helpful with our purchase of a vehicle to use for our new business. They held the vehicle for us as we gathered our finances and was able to go pick it up. They kept us informed and were quick to respond to our questions when contacting them , while we were deciding and after, when having to reschedule pick up due to multiple things, including weather. We had been shopping around and this dealership was not pushy, as so many sales people can be, and we are happy with our experience there and with the vehicle we purchased. S.A. Stephen Allen was my sales person, he had the vehicle ready for me and immediately pulled it inside so I could view it out of the freezing temps. He answered many of my questions during the test drive and quickly provided me with anything I asked for so I could make my decision. Once I did the process was smooth. I had a few questions and answers were provided quickly if Blake couldn’t answer he came back with an answer from someone who did. It took longer than I liked but they delivered the car to my office for me which was very convenient. It was a good experience overall.I would recommend this location over the Yukon one for sure.

$150 to look at your car, keep for 4 days, have to call repeatedly to get info because they dont call you, told that there is an issue but cant find the cause, and the other issue cant be replicated but after pulling out of the parking lot the issue is loud and clear still. My husband and I went in on 2/22/21 and thought we purchased an 18 Explorer. Almost a month goes by and we still didn’t have the title so my husband contacted the dealership and let them know that we didn’t have the title. They told us that the bank was taking a while to fund the loan, but not to worry because we are still approved. They let us know that we could come in and pick up a new paper tag, so we did. On 3/22/21 we received a letter in the mail from the bank we were supposedly financed through letting us know they denied our application. When we called the dealership for an answer we were put on hold and then disconnected. So we decided to contact the bank ourselves and we found out that they sent our deal back to the dealership on 3/4/22 letting them know they couldn’t finance us. The bank let us know that the last note on our account was on 3/4, so the dealership hadn’t communicated back with the bank. On 3/23 I decided to go to the dealership in person to get it settled. I had a co-signer willing to help so we could get the issue taken care of. The co-signer turned in their information through the Joe Cooper website. The finance office called the co-signer unaware of what the situation was. My co-signer brought them up to speed and let them know the bank the co-signer would like to use, as the co-signers bank is aware of the situation and is standing by ready to help. I waited a few hours in the lobby and decided to just leave as I was told they were slammed selling cars so my paperwork was pushed to the side, again.It’s 3/25 and the co-signer and myself hasn’t heard anything from the dealership. The co-signer called their bank yesterday and the dealership hasn’t called the bank either.I have a car that isn’t financed, a co-signer standing by with their bank and neither have been reached out to. I put $10,569 down on this vehicle. At this point I’m ready to go bring back the car, get my down payment back, and go to another dealership. There has been 0 communication since 3/23 and I’m HIGHLY disappointed. If I don’t hear anything back by the end of day today, I will also file a complaint with the used vehicle commission of Oklahoma.

Let’s start at the beginning…we took a trip in a car that I’ve owned for almost 5 years. The car started acting up so the whole trip home we decided to look at vehicles for sale. My fiancé and I️ took turns searching all different sites from all over Oklahoma. My fiancé found this used Tahoe for sale at Joe Cooper I’m Edmond. I️ reached out over the weekend to ask them if the vehicle was available and got a gentleman who was a sales person. He told me it was and set me up a test drive. I️ called Monday morning to confirm all details and gave a specific time that my fiancé and I️ would be there. When I️ showed up the sales person wasn’t there and so we got helped by a different sales person. We checked the vehicle and test drive it and everything seemed great. We proceeded with paperwork and I️ drove it off the lot on August 9th. That same day we drove the Tahoe back to pick my other vehicle up. On the way my fiancé noticed the passenger window wasn’t rolling up correctly. When we pulled into Joe Cooper we made the problem known and the sales person that helped us finish getting the vehicle told me to bring the vehicle in a few days. I️ told him I️ could on Thursday as I️ was going to be late to work already. Gave him a specific round about time that I’d be there. He said that if anything else comes up let me know. Between Monday and Thursday the check engine light came on at least twice. When I️ arrived Thursday August 12th to let the service department look at the vehicle the sales person was not there and I️ had to get with someone else who may have been from the sales department. I️ told them I’d wait and he said it might not be done till the end of the day. Let’s just fast forward because this post is already extremely long and say Joe Cooper had my vehicle for over 2 weeks and did not try to make anything right. The vehicle still wasn’t fixed and the part they were supposed to order still isn’t in our possession. Joe Cooper is there worst and I️ am completely disappointed in people and the way the vehicle world works! To top it off my check engine light is still on and my service air bag light is on.

This is our second time to buy a vehicle from Joe Cooper. Our salesman, Richard, was very responsive and knowledgeable. We did everything over the phone and they even delivered the vehicle to us. My reason for only 4 stars is due to the finance guy. We declined to purchase any extra warranty. When we went to sign the warranty paper, he had written customer declined over $20! The over $20 part was very tacky and unnecessary.

Our car buying process took several days, though that was partly our part due to wanting everything to be just so.Our salesman, Jorge, was fantastic. He was intent on making a sale, but also very customer focused.I never once felt he was pressuring us or trying to rip us off. He listened and showed us exactly what we wanted, plus he didn’t beat around the bush.Financing was a great experience as well. Joe, our financing officer, worked with us and made sure we knew every aspect of our contract. Joe didn’t try to push all the “extras” to make an extra buck. It’s was a quick and easy experience.I’m only deducting one star (and if it weren’t for the GM, Blake, being so incredible I’d probably deduct two more starts) because of the new car sales manager. I won’t name him, but he was incredibly pushy, a bit rude, and quite frankly only there to ensure we walked out RIGHT THEN with a new car. I think the customers concerns should be heard and not talked over, which he was unwilling to do.All in all, I would absolutely recommend Joe Cooper. In fact, we will be back in a few months to purchase another vehicle - BUT - I recommend some customer focused training be implemented to management.

We have a Ford and Mercury vehicle & used JC for moderate/major issues (10+ yrs) Since the change over from Reynolds to Joe Cooper, service has declined including recalls, repairs, and loaner cars. Where is the effort in good customer service Joe Cooper? The service department oversells and focuses on recommending things that are not needed without focusing on what the customer requests. They recommended multiple services that were recently done to our car at another location without checking the actual car. The other services were not a priority at all. I know everybody does this but seriously start doing what the car was dropped off for! When an issues is raised by the customer (me) the service Manager/Director, focused on blamstorming the entire situation, then explained that the real issue is that their alignment machine was broken and this was the real reason they could not complete the service. I feel that just wanted us to get other services (their overpriced tires!) so they could buy them some time to get the alignment machine fixed. Overpriced, overcharged and unable to provide great customer service, God bless the Joe Cooper name because it aint what it used to be. It is really sad because I loved taking our cars to this dealership but it is just not an option. The last three trips here have been progressively poor but I gave them the benefit of doubt thinking they are just going through transitions, they are super busy, I am not in a hurry, good customer service takes time....Blah, blah, blah. Nope, they just have no emphasis on delivering good customer service. I will say that the shuttle driver, an amazingly awesome elderly gentlemen, is who should be training the entire service department on how to deliver for their customers. I will miss him dearly.

Went to drive a used Explorer Platinum just to see if it was what we wanted to upgrade to from our Edge and ended up taking it home. Our salesman Levi was great and didnt make us feel pressured. We agreed to let him see what he could do for us and if it didnt work we would shake hands and and keep in touch. But then he got the payment where we needed it to be and made us feel comfortable so we took it home!

Wasnt able to give zero stars. Not only did joe cooper not fix one of the issues for which I brought my vehicle in, but also never returned my call after letting them know about the error. They told me twice they checked and found no issue with the brake light. However, literally the same day I got my vehicle back, the warning light was still on. I had a friend check and sure enough brake light was out. I called to let them know about this but my issue they never addressed wasnt important enough apparently because I never heard back. Went to auto zone and replaced my brake light for 10 bucks. Will never be back for service or a vehicle. Thanks Joe cooper.

I think they took down my first review! I wouldn’t even give them 1 star if I could. The day of service wasn’t bad but when we popped the hood to check the oil later our engine cover was missing. They were the only ones under the hood that could of taken it off. When I called a service man named Michael told me my pickup does even come with a cover. So he is calling my husband and I a lier!

Friendly staff all around but the service department works different than we expected. We made an appointment in advance and we’re told it would be a few hours. Because of this we left it there and because we left it that moved other cars that came in after ours ahead of us. I think an appointment is an appointment and every customer should be treated equally. Had it not been for our service taking 4 1/2 hours with an appointment and us calling over and over this would be a 5 star review.[Update] Spoke with advisor and manager and found out this experience wasn’t normal and took entirely too long. They explained the best days to come for the quickest service and owned the problem completely. Very good service and really showed us they care about the experience.

This is not the normal review in that is not about the vehicle or the employees it is about doing the right thing. The details are long and boring but I bought a car there and things went south, not of any of their doing, and the sales manager Blake had two options in a complex situation and he chose the best option for the customer rather than the normal option of making the most money for the dealership. For over a month I’ve tried to get a tail light kit replaced on my MKZ. my first attempt I couldn’t ever talk to the person I needed to talk to. Today was no different. I was told they had the part with my name on it but that turned out NOT to be true. My only options (because of their mistake or lie) to take me back and forth which would leave me stranded all day. The customer service it inadequate for me or maybe they don’t need my business. This has been my experience.

Horrible. On 9/22/2021 I was told it would take about 1.5hrs and close to the 2hrs I texted multiple times to the number the guy gave me and told me I could text anytime while I waited and he NEVER replied. I had to go and ask and they still took a long time to tell me where my car was. It took almost 2.5hrs to fix. I don’t mind much how long it took but the fact that they did not let me know and did not respond to my questions when asked!

With the shortage of vehicles I believe we were taking advantage of and couldn’t negotiate pricing. the price was slightly below retail. It was replacement the car for my daughter who had totaled hers due to the ice so we needed a vehicle immediately. We finally decided to purchase the vehicle and waited about two hours to get into financing which was extremely irritating even though we had agreed upon the cash sale

Gaining the loan for the vehicle and explaining everything what is very fast. Closing on the paperwork was the fastest that Ive ever experienced while buying a new car.
