Great little shop packed with gems alot of hard to find items. Lots of Mofi analog productions type of items. I blew my budget in a short amount of time but what I got was awesome. Great place for jazz tell the owner what you are looking for and he will help very knowledgeable. I got a Pink floyd mofi for a very fair price .

An expert library of jazz and blues with very high quality used vinyl from all eras. Small collection of rock and other genres is also always worth a look.

Great shop with fantastic records. Just wish I could browse the blues section, but it’s been covered with stacks of vinyl last two times I visited. Can’t sell records if people can’t look at em.

My favorite place for jazz, world or folk records. The owner is extraordinarily knowledgeable. Amazing selection every time. A collectors favorite afternoon.

I love jazz, but dont have a broad knowledge of different styles. Here, I asked for advice and gave him a budget. Of the ten albums I was shown, I loved nine across a range of styles. What an incredible store.

Definitely one of the best vinyl stores. The stock is deep--literally, as you may have to move stacks or boxes to get to other records. The aisles are tight, and it can be clausterphobic and, perhaps given the seismic tendencies of California, a bit unnerving, but I never walk out without at least one purchase and frequently several I like the jazz selection, which seems all the more poetic given the stores location near the original Yoshis spot (long since moved away), but theres also a solid pop/rock and folk section as well. Hes rarely closed. Just make certain you book plenty of time to browse, delve deeply and consider those deep cuts, and try to avoid backpacks or aisle-clogging clothes. And though the place, straight out of the 20th century, might seem cash only, he accepts plastic, which has been good for him, but not so much for my bank account.

Wow, thie is the place to go when in Bay area!!! Yes yes yes.Tons of records. Especially jazz in all directions, but also a lot of 70s rock and punk or indipendant. Bought a lot goodies for little money and had no bad surprisings in listening to them. Great guy. Great stuff. I would ever visit him again.Had a good time there. Opens at 11 am.Recommended store!!!
