Josh and his team are talented craftspeople who take pride in their work. Theyve done several projects for us, including a green remodel that included the use of gorgeous salvaged wood. We couldnt be happier with the work!

Joshua is a miracle worker with wood. He totally understood what would work with our home in his design for a deck guardrail. He worked within our budget and now that the guardrail is finished I just wish we had unlimited funds o have him work his magic on other areas of our home.The crew from Dialog Design were incredible; punctual, friendly, trustworthy and they readily took on additional jobs involved with the new guardrail; moving a light fixture and re-working several faucets.Our home looks like us for the first time since we purchased it eight years ago.I am still smiling every day that I drive up to our home.Joshua has a great sense of design and we have nothing but great things to say about our experience working with Joshua.

I recently hired Josh to fabricate 3 tables, a 30 counter top railing, and a serving ledge for the tasting room inside of my brewery (The Rare Barrel in Berkeley, come see his work in action). He sourced reclaimed wood from bleachers from the Cal Memorial Stadium for our 30 ft counter top, which adds a lot of character to our brewery. His woodworking skills are top notch.In addition to Joshs deep knowledge of high quality wood working, he also led in the design of the counter and tables, and coordinated fabrication of the bases with our metal worker (Llyr Griffith from Welsh Ironworks, I highly recommend Llyr, he works well with Josh).Next time I need woodwork done in my tasting room, I will be calling Josh.

I am an Oakland-based architect and I brought Josh in to design and fabricate a conference table for an office project in San Francisco. I was looking for someone who could work with a variety of woods, as the clients were not too specific about what they wanted and we needed someone who could bring ideas to the table (forgive the pun...!) Josh supplied a number of samples of reclaimed wood and stayed with us as we bounced around possibilities. He was dedicated to getting us a table that met their requirements for size, budget, and delivery schedule.Josh nailed it. The clients loved their Bay Laurel table so much that they comissioned two more pieces of furniture for their conference room. Josh was extremeley professional and a pleasure to work with. As an architect, I felt I had a partner in the design that could meet a challenge and zoom in on the details. He included me in every stage of the process by sending photos and sketch ideas for the details. I will definitely bring Josh aboard future projects.
