I come here regularly for the dace. Theyre $3 a pop and add flavor to my meals. Today was a bonus with the Singha glass for $2.

I come here for grocery, most of the time they scan more than the stuff I took, so you have to take a look whenever you pay. one more thing to payatention is you have to look at the expire day and make sure you have to look carfuly in the stuffs that make sure the foods you take is good before you go to pay, otherwise they will blam on you and force you to take it when you are paying. I suggest you should go to another places for foods.

When there for seafood. No seafood. No social distancing either. Place was cramped with poor air circulation. Shopped here before pre covid but now they gotta step their game up.

I would say just decent if you grade in a rekative sense considering competition. You cant give everyone 4 stars when there are lots of good Asian groceries in the Bay. But if you ran into this place in Hell Hole USA suddenly I might say 5 stars! Its all relative.

Very cheap meat prices, and also they have butane gas can for $1.25 a can, cases of ensure 30 pack vanilla only $38. Ground beef grounded fresh when ordered.

In the words of my Vietnamese girlfriend, they have all the good stuff. Produce is wonky (e.g. they only have eggs in 30 count), but lots of specialty items (rice paper, Vietnamese soy/fish sauce, jellies, and more

This store has a really good meat market and a lot of the things that you cant get in a regular Market when you make certain types of food

Love this place! They cater more to the South-east Asian consumers - more Vietnamese, Thai, Loa - rather than the Chinese, like Ranch 99. That said, you can still find a lot of the items you would get at 99 and its ilk, albeit for (bonus!) lower prices. The long freezers are stocked with interesting items, they offer snacks from Thailand that my colleagues couldnt get enough of, and I get a lot of grocery items for a very reasonable price. They usually have cooked food for sale, but that is closed during the Covid-19 period. They even have a huge parking lot! If its your first visit make sure you have enough time to browse.

Son Hop Fat is a market that serves the community at large. Not fancy, but accommodating. Has a parking lot alongside. I go there for fresh ginger and garlic/peeled and or unpeeled, there is always fresh green produce; cilantro, cucumbers, green onions, purple basil, lemongrass, a variety of peppers etc. Good selection of seasonal fruits, and surprisingly, once in a while, there will be something organic like lemon, melons, persimmons, mangoes. There is fresh and frozen seafood, and fresh meats as well. Good price for coconut cream, varieties of rice, teas, treats, sauces, and noodles. Son Hop Fat Market serves a diverse culture of clientele.

No frills is right, and they said they only take cash, although I didn’t see any signs to that effect and it seems weird for a grocery store, which I didn’t love, but it was convenient to pop in a grab a few things when I was in the area. The prices were reasonable. I didn’t do a full look, but it seemed to have the full range of Asian groceries, and it had produce, although the quality was sort of questionable and I’ll have to get the ginger home and look at it and peel it before I’ll be confident. They pre-package the ginger so that people can’t pick through it and break off pieces, which makes sense and is smart, but also means I can’t really know what I got, although it was relatively inexpensive for the quantity, so I was willing to give it a shot. There’s a very limited selection of milk, I saw a few gallons and half gallons of skim or whole, of one brand, but the expiration date was about 2 weeks out, so that was good.

The service staff is not good, many items are out of date.

This place has gone downhill big time! I used to shop here regularly a few years ago. I went in yesterday with a friend..... And went to the vegetarian/fake meat section. Upon opening the freezer we were hit with a smell so bad we both recoiled... And my friend almost threw up. Walking around the store...lots of rotten produce... Way more than in the past, and the open freezers literally had black mold growing in them. Does the health department ever come in here? I cant imagine they are anywhere near up to code. Ill be filing a complaint with the health department this afternoon. That same odor from the vegetarian section was also in the open freezers where the black mold was.

This Supermarket is not a good place to buy food. Most of the food expired but still selling. Tofu is mold, sour. customer service is terrible all the time.

At Sun Hop Fat Super Market they always have great deals, you can usually find a variety of fruits at great discounts and they have their own parking lot so you dont have to worry about parking in the street. They also help bring things to your car if you need it.

Great Asian Supermarket shoping for hard to find ingredients to make authentic Asian cuisines such has Vietnamese Cambodian Thai Chinese they have it here . From spices sauses to alligator crocodile meat and Lao and Chinese sausage. Durian rambusteen and jackfruit you can get it here

Be careful of the produce and the perishables.Every time i get veggies there it comes in a bag, basically they line the outside with good/fair veggies and the rotten ones are in the middle.Also last time i got beer there was floating cloudy stuff in there. just ew gross

A nice shoppingThis supermarket is pretty big. They have wide variety of food and their meat and seafood are fresh. Dont expect black tie service (although I did see them help other customers carry out rice bags and boxes of groceries to their cars) and dont expect any cleanliness. They have pretty much all the Asian variety you can find and can be your one stop shop.One thing to be careful of is to check the expiration date. They were selling my favorite Trung Nguyen coffee for $2.99 ( Ranch 99 sells it for $6.99) but upon closer look, they were expired for over three months.Remember to bring cash or debit card..

This place is good for certain products. They even have durian! Produce is cheap, though not always the best quality.

I like that I can get unusual items here like organic soybeans, curry leaves, Thai basil, pho noodles, Chinese cooking wine, jackfruit, guavas and the special coffee for Vietnam style iced coffee, etc. I tolerate the facts that they charge to use a debit card, rude service, poor quality produce, long lines, the place is foul smelling, dirty and poorly organized.
