I can give the people at Straus only the highest of compliments for their products and for the professionalism of their employees We had new flooring installed last week-luxury vinyl planking in the kitchen and bathrooms and carpet throughout the rest of the house. Everyone at Straus was great to work with and made this an easy project. The two installation teams were on time, they worked non stop and the finished product is beautiful. The office staff was most helpful every step of the way. I have already recommended Straus to people I know who are in the market for new flooring.

I hired Straus to replace the carpet in the bonus room of a rental house, overriding my property managers recommendation. After the manager paid the bill, I learned that my excellent tenant was complaining that the new carpet had big lumps under it, and the installation had left walls looking bad. I got Straus to go back, but only with some pushing. The second installation was worse, leaving the carpet a tripping hazard. I was ready to push for a refund, but the tenant was forgiving enough to let Straus back again. I talked to the owner Tom, who told me that he couldnt assure me that the third try would go any better than the previous ones. He refused to recognize that my time and aggravation were worth a penny. In fact, he acted as if Straus had done me a favor by not charging for the second visit -- the one we were now still struggling to correct! I found this all very peculiar for a company that makes a big deal out making things right for customers.

We got three estimates to do a fairly large office carpet replacement in two phases and Straus was very competitive. Patient and caring Alex Trujillo came to bid our job in August. He showed how thorough and organized he was by mapping out and labeling the building, then listening and confirming what we needed. The estimate was timely, even though he was getting married a couple of days later, and he answered queries quickly. While we pursued the other two options, it was clear which company stood head and shoulders above the others.Office move-outs are tough and Straus brought in a huge crew and completed the first phase in two hours, starting at 4 pm on a Friday. By six the first office was put together and operational once more. The work was skilled and the crew genial, clearly all got along well. Phase two was another Friday night, and the results we just as good. Alex came back to do a little touch-up two weeks later. Great follow up! He brought three long and beautifully finished runners cut from our carpet material for the warehouse entry points. These were done at no charge.We couldnt be happier with our beautiful new carpet and plan to have them replace the WC floor in November. You owe it to yourself to call Straus for an estimate for any project you are considering.

Im a licensed carpet contractor myself have known them for about 30 years, great place to get carpet. I just bought some carpet there, so what does that say ?I recommend them highly, theyve always been upfront no shenanigans nothing else to say except maybe thank you

Meh. depends on what your looking for, literally acres of carpet you can see touch and paruse. remanants, some with flaws. they will refer an installer. i just did not find what I was looking for. worth a trip.
