Casey & Caleb were both great guys. My wife and I stopped by for the evening and had a great tasting flight. Friendly atmosphere, great beer, pinball in the back, go get yourself a brew, plenty to carry out too!

The beer is delicious, flavors for everyone and a welcoming taproom. Super cool to learn about the business principles and conscious actions - using wild yeast from local orchards, heating tanks with biodiesel, supporting the community with a percentage of sales from “Town Talk” and much more. Recommend trying several varieties and having a conversation with Morgan, Caleb or Nick. Ale Industries is really good beer - with a conscience. Enjoy!

Fantastic experience. Seriously. I’m a customer who asks a lot of questions since I want to have the best experience at a place bc I rarely go back (so many new places out there still to try!) So I was very grateful for the kind host to answer all my questions even about in the last 30 minutes or so of being open. He even went and put out a separate table for me. Such a gentleman.The beers themselves were something else. Never had a tea beer and I LOVED it!! Then the same thing with the cherry was even better!! So glad I got to go!! Please check them out!!

Big fan of this place, one of the best breweries in the East Bay. They have like a dozen different beers on tap, a nice pool table ($5/hr), and a great couple of dart boards. Ive liked every beer here with my favorites being the East Bay IPA and the Uncle Jesse. Theres always people here on the weekend and its a great place to meet up with friends or even to do work during the day while drinking. They also often have visiting food vendors. One of the places that makes me love East Oakland for sure.

Cool, airy, unassuming brewery in a warehouse space. Great selection of sours. Lager was surprisingly complex. The IPA didn’t pass muster for me. Would go back in the evening with friends and grab food nearby.

Nice relaxing place to drink. Not loud, you can have a personal conversation without yelling over bar chatter. Pool table included $5 per hour. Good Bay Area IPAs!

My new favorite tap room/brewery in the Oakland area. Its right off the freeway, has plenty of parking, several food options nearby and most importantly super good beer! The Cherry Kush is probably my favorite beer ever, so that was probably worth 5 stars on its own, but the other beers are also quite good. So yeah, go here, get beer.

Ale Industries is a cool brewery & taproom in the Fruitvale neighborhood in Oakland. I enjoyed the bright industrial decor, the beams are old hops bags. There is a good selection of beer varieties.

I went to pick up beer that is a fundraiser for bikes, clothes,, food for needing families called Jingle Town Ale. The gentleman was super helpful in explaining all the different beers to me, letting me taste the differences. I ended up buying more beer for Christmas gifts suited perfectly to their likings. Really nice, above & beyond for service and friendliness. Thanks AI, I will be back!

Nice space walking distance from BART. Much better then their old Concord space and the beers have gotten better to. A nice wide variety of styles.

Just came here for the first time with hubby for an Yelp Elite Event. I love we have this type of breweries in Oakland! So proud! It was easy to find and very accessible - literally a 5 min walk from Fruitvale BART - YAY!!!Staff is passionate about their Beer and so friendly! Place is really nice and spacious - a great bar with stools and few wooden tables around. Neat and clean bathroom too which is always a plus for me :)Great selections of Beer - so many varieties and such great prices!!! We need to come back to try more off their menu! Highly recommend for Beer Lovahs :) Support local breweries! Spread the Love! Be a real Oaklander :)

Good beer selection, good variety of beer that has something for everyone. Bar snacks like pretzels, chips, etc. Fun, relaxing and open brewery with nice lighting, comfy couches, nice bench seats, darts, pool table, and board games. Friendly people and service, not too noisy, frisbee golf was happening when we went. Srirachelada was nice and had a pleasant heat level.

Quiet, out of the way and low key. Delicious beer. What more could you ask for?

This place is pretty cool.(+) Some real winner beers. I liked La Niña Fresa, the Cherry Cush, and Tea Thaim the most.(+) Snacks(+) Nice bartender who answered all my questions.(+) A cute kitty just came by, thats awesome.

Nice little place. Beer was pretty good but pricey. The bartender took good care of my kids drinks so they had a good time as well

Really great little brew pub in East Oakland, just a short walk from Fruitvale BART Station. Great selection of beers, a little heavy on IPAs when I visited, but there were other options. They have bar food (popcorn), and will let you bring in food from outside (there was a taco truck around the corner on Fruitvale Avenue and E. 12th Street when I visited). Comfy plush couch seating in addition to bar stools is a nice touch. Ill definitely be back.

Ive been here a few times now, I should go more often. Its a nice chill spot to have a fresh beer. They have excellent growler prices so you can do a to go as well. They always have a good variety of beers on tap in a variety of styles and flavor profiles. You can also bring in some food with you and eat while you drink. They do this really great coffee beer using the coffee roasters next door that is awesome. Definitely a nice spot to for beer lovers in Fruitvale.

I really can say that I enjoy this brewery. A nice selection with not too much fluff on the prices. Id probably recommend this place to my husband. Hes a beer finatic!

Delicious, delicious beer. This place has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere overseen by dedicated masters of the craft. The brews are innovative without being over the top, and reasonably priced. Service is friendly and fast. There is plenty to pick up and bring in nearby, especially if the Guadalajara food truck is just down the street.

Ale Industries has great beer, some funky ones and some more classic ones. They also have darts and pool for a reasonable fee. A great place to hang out after a long work week or on the weekend. Cute dog, Aristotle, too.

Beer tender knew the taste profiles of all the beers on tap. He was friendly, expedient in suggesting and pouring my beer. It is Sunday, so in my case, it was slow and I expected it to be so. Ill be back...by the way the breeze off the channel cooled me off. Their entrance faces the on coming breeze. Nice!

Taproom is one of my favorites. Great beer... Friendly staff... Doesnt get crazy busy and loud. My favorite is to hit the taco truck around the corner and then come and have a beer or two. They fill growlers and also have bottles for sale.

Cool bartenders and a chill atmosphere. Darts, pool table and dice are available to use. Great selection of in house brews. Cherry Kush is the best !!!! Bring your growler to fill, doesnt matter if its from another brewery. They will fill it and just slap an Ale Industries sticker on it.

We looove this place. If you’re looking for a date night, casual group hang, or just something low key to-do, this is the spot! A quick walk from Fruitvale Bart (~17min from Embarcadero Bart). Ditch overpriced and overcrowded city bar vibes and bring your homies here! The staff is always ultra-friendly, pours are perfect, very reasonably priced with daily specials every day of the week- On Mondays and a Fridays, I can get 3 growlers of my favorite cherry kush brew for $16!!! Unbelizeable.They also are right next door to the most BOMB taco truck/restaurant - Guadalajara!Thank you Ale Industries, you’re one of our favorite neighborhood gems

The drinks were good, and service was prompt. The bartender Jacob was great to talk to, and after his shift he even stuck around for a couple games of pool.

Just, eh. Its a tough town to be a brewery that stands out. I get that. But still, just eh. 4 stars for the cool, laid back space.

While doing the Oakland beer trail we stopped here as one of our first stops and asked for a tour. We had an awesome time hearing about their journey from eclectic home brewers to filling the better part of a warehouse at their current location.The tasting room has a friendly pub atmosphere and they seem very community oriented.I had a fantastic sour ale and tasted a pineapple ale concoction that was lovely.Also, they carry irn bru soda.

The beers are great. The place is chill. The staff is nice and cool. Trivia night on Wednesday is a must!

Here is a great place for locals to try out microbrews. Its in a warehouse, so scenery is not an object here, just the drinks. Ive never been to a place with more affordable microbrews, its great. They serve a nice variety so everyone will find something to their taste. Also, if you fill two growlers, fill a third for free!

My go to place for a cheap, tasty beer in a quiet environment. Lots of neat beer selections to choose from.
