What a wonderful business! I took a car I was thinking of buying into to them to check it out, and had a truly excellent experience. Their rates were fair, and Joe took a lot of time to sit and counsel me about that particular car and other cars I was considering. I was very impressed and will now take my new (used) car to Fritz and Peters to service! I felt respected and treated fairly.

I’ve used Fritz and Peters for various automotive work on my 1990 VW Vanagon and have been impressed at their professionalism and quick turnaround. From diagnosing a transmission issue, A/C recharge, to bumper install they‘ve handled everything perfectly. I’m surprised at how quick they can fit me in same week or next week via phone appointment where many specialty shops usually have a minimum of 5 week lead time for work on these vans. I called Fritz and Peters on a Thursday morning to see if they could take my car in for an oil change on the same day. They were able to accommodate me by dropping the car off during lunch and picking it up before they closed. Quick and easy service!

These guys are great… Have used them for years and I’ve always been honest, competent, good humored and timely. Only suggestion is to not take too many customers on one day such that you can’t get them all done. I know this is difficult to determine sometimes.

Well organized in terms of booking and organization. But after maintenance my maintenance light still went on. My car’s major issue wasn’t even noticed, and I ended up getting lectured by the smog center mechanic about not maintaining my car and almost did not pass inspection. Failed to get any response to my request to book a second maintenance. (Though to be fair that may be bugs in their website.)

It is very hard to find a good and honest and reasonably priced mechanic. After years of being ripped off by dealership service departments and then getting inadequate work from others, a mechanic referred me to Fritz and Peters and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They never overcharge, they never say you need something when you really don’t. I completely trust this shop, Recommend with no reservations.

Honest, Fair Priced and Fast.I have a 2006 VW Jetta and with an aging car, things will start to go wrong. Fritz and Peters is great at keeping my car safe and on the road. And they understand that with an older car, there is a limit to what I want to spend and they get that. HIGHLY recommend!

I brought my 2010 Tiguan in to Fritz and Feters and they did an excellent job diagnosing it right away. It turns out that it was a warranty issue and they were so familiar with the vehicle that they actually recommended that they NOT do the repair and that I instead take it to the dealership to get it fixed. Turns out, it was covered under warranty and they saved me a bunch of money! Very honest, very knowledgeable, very trustworthy. I’ll certainly come back if I need work done in the future and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone with a VW!

I have been using this repair shop for years. I am always delighted. They are competent, honest, and reasonably priced.

What can I say? They discourage work that is not required (I asked for a transmission service, but all it needed was more trans fluid), they diagnose and repair accurately and the cost is always what is quoted. I ALWAYS recommend them for VW service.
