DuMauriea, my service advisor, was meticulous, thorough and an excellent communicator. He ensured my vehicle was repaired perfectly and restored to exactly how it was before my accident. He understands the emotional attachment folks have to their cars and the importance of doing the job right. Id be very happy to work with him and Caliber again on another repair and highly recommend him.

I took my BMW to Caliber Collision to get my front bumper fixed from a minor bumper accident and Caliber Collision provided an experience that leaves no complaints! Karen was super nice and provided me with a simple and hassle free process. I run a extremely tight schedule and Karen insured that she did everything to accommodate my schedule. Caliber Collision is very good, and in particular the team at the Oakland CA 11th Street location is excellent. I had a rough year of accidents on my 4Runner and came in twice in 2021 for body repairs. Philip W. and Junior C. were my leads for each repair and they were fantastic. Regular updates throughout the process. In each case I had a unique timing request and fast turnaround, they both adjusted and made it happen on time. Above and beyond in both cases. Thanks to to the Caliber team and particularly Phillip & Junior for a job well done - and especially appreciated!

Other dudes insurance recommended them, and they were great. Finished my car quickly, and the repair is basically invisible - perfect paint match, and everything works great. Returned it far cleaner than when I dropped it off, and they handled all the coordinating with the rental car place too.

Back bumper ugly dent and misaligned door compartment and sticking out bottom line edge door and some underneath bumper problems. Also they clean my car 🚗 and well coordinated rent a car service, accommodating, tactical, precise, quick in the in and out processing, also good listener to the car problems. Great services and very satisfactory. Well done job.

Great staff. Had a blow out on the freeway, lim ped into their garage, and knowledgeable staff quickly determined the problem (and boy was there a problem). A gentleman named Miguel went way out of his way to help us.😀

The service in the office was quick and I was out of there. Repair took long due to parts availability. I washed/detailed the outside of my vehicle which was nice because the repair had nothing to do with the body work. I would recommend.

Caliber was super professional. They helped me deal with a collision claim and were really helpful along the way. The work was timed well and they got my repair done within the time specified. Philip emailed me or called me with every update and made sure I was really well informed about the process and what was going on with my vehicle. I would definitely come here for work on my vehicle again.

These guys were recommended highly by my claims adjuster because of their expertise, professionalism, and courtesy. I saw it first-hand when I first brought my Lexus to the shop. Paul handled my repairs, walked me through the process, and gave me a timeline when to expect the car to be ready for pickup. They actually completed the repairs earlier than expected, and the repair came out flawless. I hated the fact that I had to bring my car in because someone had backed into my car and put a big dent in it, but if I had to have a shop fix the repair, it would be these guys. Ill start by saying that the work done to the car was done very well. The car looks great and the service was speedy.I took one star off because there was an employee in the office that was eating food inside a common space and obviously that means he was not wearing a mask. It was stunning to see. There are signs all over the place asking people to wear masks and here was an employee doing the exact opposite.When I returned to pick up the car, the same employee was again not wearing a mask at his desk inside the office that all customers must enter to fill out paperwork. When I asked about it, the representative that I was dealing with chose to finish my paperwork outside of the office rather than address the employee who was not wearing a mask. I dont understand why you wouldnt enforce this at a business. Its a no brainer and its the law.I also took a star off because Phillip had misquoted an additional repair that I had inquired about. I had a ding on my door that was pretty bad. I had been considering getting it worked on for a few months. When I asked about it Phillip took a look and said it would cost around $600-900. I was shocked to hear that it was that much. He insisted that hed be able to keep the number down because they have a progressive discount and because theyd already be mixing the paint for the other job.I work in a field where I make quotes often. I pride myself on two things when making a quote: 1. Getting the quote as close as possible to the actual number 2. Underpromising and over delivering.So, you could imagine that I was shocked to receive a quote for over $1300 with no visible progressive discount and nothing on the quote to account for paint being premixed or part of a batch.When I asked about why my quote had essentially doubled, Phillip let me know that his initial quote was just an eyeball and that after talking to his paint guy there was some additional blending that needed to be done to make it look smooth. He said he could take it down to $800 without the blending but Id be at risk of having what looked like mismatched panels. Who wants to pay $800 for that?I ended up begrudgingly going with the full service and left with the feeling that I had been ripped off even though the quote made sense. Its just the feeling you get when someone who you are trusting to be an expert in what they do eyeballs a job and is off by a factor of about 2x and maintains that somehow youre getting a discount. Thats a real mind bending sales technique.Again, the work was excellent but I wont be able to recommend Caliber in the future.

I had to get some body work done on my car because I was shipping it to Hawaii. Paul was great to work with and quality of the work was exceptional. My car looked brand new again. If I had more time in the area, I would have gotten a few more things done.

Caliber sent to George Oren for a free for a wheel alignment. The people there were efficient and professional.

The team was excellent. They kept me informed about my repairs and my car. They were respectful and did great work.

My car was dropped off on 7/20 to repair damages to the front end. Three weeks later, I was told my car was ready for pick up. When I picked up my car, there were dirty mechanics towels in the front seat. When I drove out of the garage, I noticed dirty oil stains on the front seat. I also noticed that my driver seat was adjusted and lopsided. I was able to adjust my seat, but it still lopsided. It was then that I noticed that my drivers seat cushion was damaged and that there were dirty oil stains all over the back seats of my vehicle. I called and notified them of the damages. They asked me to bring my car back. I returned for the second time and they looked at it and asked me to bring it back the following week. I returned for the third time, the following week and they asked me to leave it again. They told me that they would clean my seats and fix the cushion to the driver seat. On 8/20 at 7:35 am I left my car. I called the shop to follow up on how long it would take and I was told I could get my car the following day. However I would have to bring my car back for the fourth time) to have the seat repaired. This was unacceptable, considering that I loosing time from work dropping off my vehicle. I am an essential worker during a global pandemic and did not have time to waste. They offered to deliver my car to me. However, I did not trust them to drive my vehicle considering that my car sustained damage while parked in their care. On 8/21 I reluctantly allowed them to drive my car to me but they had only cleaned the seats. The cushion was not repaired. I was told that they didn’t know if they could fix the cushion of my chair driver seat anymore because I got managers involved with the issues I was having with their company. Would I recommend this business? My answer is No. there services were not timely, there business practices are poor and untrustworthy. When I left my property in their care, I hoped that my vehicle would have been carefully handled and it was not.

Professional place with processes and punctual email/text updates during the work stages.Phillip Wong was a wizard with my quote and in communication.They finished my car early though needed to return it due to a misalignment on the fender/hood margin and now a sensor is triggered for the tire effected during the accident.

Great shop near Lake Merritt BART! First off their shop was well-taken care of and clean which made a great first impression and made me feel comfortable leaving my car there. The service was prompt, the staff professional and courteous. The best part was the work done was excellent and turned out great.
