I worked with an amazing design associate on a very large order (over $14,000). I ordered furniture and rugs on January 20, 2021. One standard piece (not custom) has been delayed repeatedly, and I am ow told it will arrive about 7 months after I ordered it. COVID? Nah. Everything else in the same line and the same fabric has been delivered. Yet the same piece is still on their website and in June, customers were told they could get their order of this item by mid-August. So, will these new orders get their item faster than me, when I have been waiting since January? I dont trust anything they tell me, since the changes in expected dates have swung wildly from week to week. They clearly have no handle on their supply chain...I like the products, but this experience has made me look elsewhere for products. Good grief --- Wayfair delivers faster than this!

Order is not only delayed, but the tracker is also changing day by day. One day one piece is delayed, the next day, it’s a different one and the first piece is in stock. The next day, it switches again! Impossible to figure out what’s going on.Will never order from crate and barrel or cb2 again

Look out for their scams to sign up for 10% off. Gave phone number and other info (which they probably sell) and the promo code that they sent me doesn’t work! What a waste of time! That’s Crate and Barrel, your so awesome, wish I could give zero stars!

What happened to this store? Inventory control is a disaster and doesnt align with the online experience at all. When I talked to a customer chat representative, she said Still relatively small American family owned company, which isnt reality: C&B is owned by e-commerce giant Otto GmbH. She also stated Were not Amazon; I guess that part is both true and insightful.

Had a job interview after filling out a number of online documents and was told I would be contacted midweek (last Wednesday). I never received a call and if I didn’t get the job that is fine, but I spent almost 2 hours for the interview process and I think it’s rude that there was no follow up call- one way or the other. I owned a business for 25 years where I hired a number of employees and it is just a professional courtesy to follow up after an interview.

Crate and Barrel has the worst online order and customer service I have ever seen anywhere.I orders two different items and paid for separate wrapping (extra charge for that of course).Items came in in one box wrapped together.So ,I get in touch with their customer service who resent the items,promising to refund me the money I paid for the wrapping and extra box(8 days later,still no sign of the refund) ,and guess what,when the second order came in ,they were AGAIN in one box.Now the second mishap arrived a day before i was to give those presents to two different people which forced me to spend Saturday driving around to find adequate boxes to wrap the presents separately so that I can make my friends happy.. Of course,i contacted C&B again and they offered to send me a 50.00 dollars for the two wrong orders.I turned their offer down because they are the one who twice made the same mistake in the same week.They seem to be very oblivious or I would say,not concerned at all for their mistakes or for wasting my day off to find presentable boxes and wrapping,and they said they will forward my emails to their Home office to find a resolution,adding that I will be contacted within 48 hours. 96 hours later I still havent heard a word from their home office,so i sent another email and this time ,the next day someone called me,apologized,saying the email was not sent to them until today.So now i am looking at customer service that lied or was lazy,not sure which is worth and still no resolve for two orders that they didnt fix. Home office customer service upped the bribe to 100.00 gift card (thats what they called resolving the waste of my day off and ruining two perfect gifts for my friends}.Yes i turned down their offer then left a message that i wish to talk to someone in corporate office but that didnt happen either.

Horrible experience for the 2nd time. Spent 500$+ on dishes that arrived shattered and then found out it would take several days to get new dishes sent out because they were discontinued and they would need to find stores that physically had the dishes. I waited 2 weeks and finally got them. They are beautiful and love them. What I dont love is how terrible the customer service is. I have gone back to try to give them another chance to earn my business and this go around is worse than the first. I have been asking to speak with a manager for days and no luck. The 15$ courtesy gift card they gave me as am apology wont work on my checkout and now Im being told I need to contact the 3rd party that runs their giftcards to ask why it isnt working. Are you telling me you, customer service, are that LAZY that instead of doing your job and providing customer service, youre making the customer figure it out. Mm really after what I went thru the first time? Ive also yet to hear from a supervisor, though Ive asked several times. Ive also tried reaching out to corporate with no word back. It seems Crate and Barrel couldnt care less about their customers being treated well or with respect. I have to say, I am beyond disappointed because with th hair prices, they should offer white glove customer support. As of now, they have lost my business.

I love the stores and their service DO NOT USE THE ONLINE, I HAD A PACKAGE OF GLASSES SHIPPED TO ME THEY WERE ALL BROKEN INDEED NOT EVEN PACKED, I SUSTAINED A SMALL CUT JUST OPENING THE PACAKAGE. OK THINGS HAPPEN SO I CALL THINKING THEY WILL SAY RETURN IT, THEY WANT ME TO GO THROUGH THE BOX AND TAKE PICTURES, EVEN AFTER I TELL THEM I GOT HURT, I SAY NO, I ASKED TO ME TRANSFERRED I GET A SUPERVISOR THAT IS EQUALLY UNHELPFUL, I AM TRYING TO SEND THE DARN THING BACK AND I DONT WANT THEIR PEOPLE TO GET HURT IF THEY OPEN IT, WELL ITS 1 HOUR LATER FIVE CALLS LATER BEING PUT ON HOLD FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES AND NOONE IS AVAILABLE. NEVER AGAIN.

Crate and Barrel is deceptive.Crate and Barrel uses online sales as a way to get consumers to make more than the intended number of purchases.Once your order is placed, they will continue to put your sales items on backorder until you cancel them.Their customer service is of no help, and they will intentionally under order on all sales items.
