Usually like to do my research specially when I’m looking for a service provider in a new area. Was about to go to another place and then I found this spot, just minutes from my place. Rolando the owner tells you exactly what’s wrong with your car, consults with you first and then takes care of the problem. Had my car fixed in shorter time than I was expecting. Highly recommended, and an auto repair shop I would recommend to friends and family.

New in the area and in need of repair, I took my car to a so called reputable car repair shop. They told me I would need a major repair job that could have cost me $$$$. I dont understand how this guy has close to 5 stars and i wouldnt even move past a phone call with him.. Tips for rolando: just because you say sorry im not trying to be rude before saying something rude does not make it any less rude.. Its not what you say but how you say it. Thank you for wasting 5 minutes of my time ranting about how you dont have time to quote me for my repair that made perfect sense.

My car wouldn’t start, was towed to Playa Auto. Rolando put his customer ahead of me on pause, came out of his office on his walker (after hip replacement surgery), checked my battery, found cell failure and replaced the battery. Rollie is likely the only garage owner to work on your vehicle himself, and that while using a walker! Great guy, personal, immediate and effective service, honest pricing! Highly recommend.

I did extensive research before I brought my car into Playa. I read the reviews of this place from 10 different sources because I don’t trust just one review site. Every source had multiple reviews from credible reviewers (more than one review, etc) that La Playa is an amazing auto care shop.I took the plunge and brought my car to La Playa. I am SO glad I did. Rolando is honest (I know, I know...the words mechanic & honest tend not to go together), friendly and his prices are very reasonable & affordable. He went above and beyond helping me & giving me information and didn’t try to trick me into buying services I didn’t need. My car is driving perfectly!In Miami, 90% of the mechanics are not trustworthy or crooks. When you find one like La Playa, it’s a diamond in the rough. I will promoting him to everyone - it’s a happy day when you find a great mechanic in this city!!

It is difficult to find a mechanic you can trust. This Is definitely one that can be trusted, I was looking for a place to change my oil because tires plus was to busy with a 2 hour wait, I rolled the dice and decided to go to Playa auto care. Rolando and Juanito were kind epithetic, super helpful, and the price was right. Since then he resurrected one of my cars gave my Toyota a tuneup and got the AC to work in my Honda. After he helped resurrect my Honda Civic and saved me tons of money because other mechanics told me it was the engine and that it will cost me $2000, he has officially become my family mechanic. They are truly a place that you can trust.

Rolando is a great mechanic, very on top of everything at the shop. He can help you figure out whats wrong with your car and fix it. Works with your aftermarket warranty insurance providers. Very honest and fair service. Takes great care of returning your car to its orginal state just as before it had any mechanical issues. Great shop, would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience,went in for an oil change brought my own oil and filter 2000 MB E320 Wagon,Mechanics are Great theres a screen where you can see while they work on your car,owner its really interesting on your vehicle hes concern,I explained some weird noise,Ive been suspecting is the power steering pump because I have stiff steering,he checked on that noise grabeb some mechanics stethoscope and checked all pulleys,pumps etc for any grinding,whining,bumps,squeaks, etc he didnt find anything,I schedule tomorrow for further inspection,Highly Recommend at this point,Ill update further experiences as Im planning to keep on going and making it my Shop! 👍

I took my car which was in bad shape.I had no oil, and hadn’t put in for God knows how long.My A/C wasn’t working and in Miami that’s not a good thingMy car had started cutting off at traffic lights so I couldn’t put it off any longer.I knew this would cost me a lot so I had Delayed this as long as possible.Finally I found Playa and called. I could take my car the same day.I cleaned it out, knowing I would have to leave it there for a day or so.How wrong I was.2 hours later. I paid $136 and had my car back as good as new.I recommend them firstly for their honesty. They are not in it too rip you off. Secondly for their fast repairs and kindness.Yes I was lectured about leaving my car so long. 🤣.I will go back for every little thing I need done.They are awesome.

I am so happy I came to this place, usually mechanics can be a bit intimidating - at playa auto care the owner really cares about his customers and their vehicles. I came in for a window that did not go up, my car was fixed same day, and he also fixed my horn - took the car for a test drive. I mean he went beyond what I expected. Super friendly and great customer service will definitely return, and I recommend this place to everyone.
