I used to love Best Buy. Everyone there was sweet, willing to help. I had people from all departments come up to me just asking if I was finding everything okay.I went there a few days ago, and when I tell you that the store was DEAD, I am talking about there was more staff than customers yet they could not help any of us in a timely manner. They had closed off all registers, there were people walking around their departments making eye contact with me, even after I had asked them for help yet they would walk right by me.I finally got someone to come to the phone station to help me out with my new iPhone 13 Pro Max. I explained to him the situation, and he cut me right off and said “Yea, it’s not going to work. You can try it, but I’m telling you right now it just won’t work.”I was disappointed of course because he said I wasn’t going to be able to transfer my data onto my new phone because it had less GB than my old one.Tell me why when I get home, I was able to do it on my own in 10 minutes?For these people to be referred as “Tech Savvy” you would think that they would actually try and help you out, not just tell you that it won’t work.I am completely disappointed by the lack of customer service Best Buy provides, and definitely would not want another one of their associates to “help” me with my stuff anymore.

I used to use Best Buy just for all of my computer and television stuff. Sometimes small appliances. Since the Pandemic Covid-19, Ive used them more for small appliances, like vacuums, microwaves, walkie talkies, and a DVD or two. I do my research at home and then go to the store, so I dont have to spend a lot of time inside the store. Not that they dont keep it clean, theres just too many people shopping who dont maintain personal space. The Pandemic has changed the way I shop.

I never liked best buy because they always had loud music going and it made it hard to concentrate on my purchase. Fortunately they dont seem to do that anymore. But they seem really short of knowledgeable staff. Their suggestion was that if I have a question then look at their web page. What ever happened to looking at things in person? I might as well have stayed home and had the product delivered. By the way, unless they are having a sale this is usually not where youre going to get the Best Buy.

Went there with wife to look for a new TV , sales person came over upselling everything , even after telling him wanted to spend so much he went to the wife and pushed a more expensive model , then another sales person came over trying to sell a surround sound system . Then sell a delivery and installation . Said no can fit into my Yukon XL , not good enough if it breaks your responsible .was told to call andwas told set up installation, called waitedfor 10 min then transfered to sales 10 min wait, then put on hold for 5 more min then told I needed to call a different number . What a joke

Marie the supervisor is extremely rude to customers!!! My boyfriend bought a monitor for his computer opened the box didnt drop it and nothing fell on it screen was all spiderwebed and didnt let us return or exchange it. Dont waste your money! This screen was alot of money too! Go elsewhere. We called corporate and they said shes supposed to give a refund or replacement, well that didnt happen tonight... she threatened to call law enforcement as well... Really ridiculous if you ask me. All the geeksquad workers were just looking at us and not saying a word at all no communication at all. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Never going to this best buy again. Lost 4 customers...

I had a very pleasant experience the only thing I didnt like they did not have the right plug for my telephone for my car very limited. I must say thank you to Joanne very very pleasant she cashed me out and asked me if I need anything and was very helpful. Ill be back tomorrow is because of her very pleasant lady. You need to upgrade your section for people who still have smartphones so they can buy plugs for their cars. Very disappointed about that otherwise everything was perfect oh one more thing your your vinyl section for records became awfully small why ? Not a very large selection I was able to pick up with Michael Jackson picture disc I was looking for a lot more though thank you Joanne for being such a nice

After spending thousands at this location, I purchased a 400 headset for it to go on 50% sale 3 weeks after purchase. Best buy wont refund the difference or allow a return. Stole 200$ from me. I will never spend another dollar in this franchise. Closing my bestbuy visa account as well. Absolute scam. Stick to another company.

Better deals with combo packets. Great service and opened and tested return with full refund. One item I purchased was not in the store I was in so they set up mail service from another store or option to pick up there. Curbside pickup available. An associate helped bring out and help me load a microwave in my car.

Tonight was only my second time here, but had to write a review because the gentleman who helped me tonight, I’m pretty sure he helped me over the summer, the last time I was here and he was great.I was in a rush tonight, trying to buy a charger for my chromebook to get back to work, he saw me looking a little lost and immediately came over, listened to what I needed and helped me right away.Over the summer he had helped me (I think it was him, but I didn’t manage to get his name either time), with a unique issue I had with my AC unit and was, again, friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and efficient.5/5 stars just for how helpful he was.

Do NOT purchase anything from here if you’re unsure about the item. I purchased a brand new surface last week (had it for 4 days) and the manager Anders Cruise refused to let me return or exchange the item. I had to call HQs to report the absolute worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Fortunately they were more receptive and accepted my return and refunded time my money.

Went to Best Buy for a new car radio. They said they could install it but it would take weeks because the guy who can install it only works certain days. However when my appointment came up I was not disappointed. I was the only customer and they took my car right into the mobile instillation. The guy worked on it right in front of me and took time showing me how to work the new radio. Much cheaper and better service then if I went to a car dealership.

I called the Meriden and North Haven Beat Buys for a TV that is on sale. We wanted to make a purchase for this tv and waited for an associate to pick up the phone for over half an hour at both stores. That’s an over an hour just waiting for someone to pick up so we can do curbside pick up. Terrible customer service. Going to PC Richards. They are meeting the price and they answered the phone after 4 rings.
