Super Foodtown of North Arlington is a great place to shop. I love their Deli section and the made in the store items. This week we were big fans of store made quiche!! They were on sale for $2.88 and so darn delicious! The store itself is small and easily manageable to shop without getting exhausted! The sale items are easy to find and clearly marked! The workers are extremely friendly and ready to help at a moments notice! Thebakery items are delicious and also very eye appealing! They evenhave a plant and floral department where you can find the perfect gift. They also sell greeting cards by the costumer service desk. Its a great place to shop!

Probably the most convenient spot to shop in the area. Youll pay a little more than usual, but the lines move quickly and the folks are friendly. Plus theyve got a decent produce section.

Very convenient location. Staff is nice and it always looks organized and clean. The lines are usually short. Only down fall is it came be pricey. Especially the meat.

I wanted to make a $7 money order to NJ MVC, which Ive never done before. But the lady at service desk was very sweet and helpful, she filled out my money order, and even gave me a photocopy so that i can keep the OG for my records. Thank you so much Melinda.

Best deli in the area hands-down. For all of your salad needs they make everything fresh. The people know who you are when you go in there. Nice small clean store. It’s expensive compared to the other food places but it’s worth it. Cashiers are very nice. But I specifically have been going there for years for the deli department like many other people. I also highly recommend the rotisserie chicken which is the best in the area by far. And I’ve tried all the other supermarkets and this is way way better. If you need coleslaw potato salad macaroni salad tuna fish chicken salad it is all homemade. And that’s just the first list of things that’s homemade there. Extremely competent friendly people who work in the deli

Been coming for awhile despite it being extremely expensive compared to other stores. Today I bought hot dogs and hot dog buns. Got home to make some for the kids and the hot dogs were covered in extreme amounts of slime and smelled terrible. Needless to say, kids werent in the mood anymore. Went back (literally less than 10 minutes after buying) to get a refund. Hot dogs were refunded, but the unopened undamaged package of buns were not. I have no need for the buns if I dont have the dogs obviously. Needless to say, its not about the money I told the kid to toss them, give them away, put them back, whatever. But I wont be shopping there again from here on out.

I only go here out of convenience because they are the closest to my house. Just not very friendly or personable staff, and their prices are too high.

Check expiration dates cuz they will not exchange it after purchase. Will never buy here again

They always have what I need and I’m able to run in quickly to get it. The prices are better than ShopRite and Stop & Shop so I have nothing to complain about.

Always a pleasure to visit this store. Clean quiet place with mostly fresh food. I like that they have lots of healthy option and not that much of a junk food.

I have given this Foodtown chance after chance after chance to be a decent store. They are never going to be that. They will rip you off the first chance they get and every time after that. No one should go there I just purchased toilet paper that clearly said 1399 on the shelf but they charged me 1899 and then wouldnt refund me the rest of the money back they insisted it said 1899 when the sign said 1399 by the time I got back there they had removed the sign I will never step foot in Jacks super Foodtown again he is a ripoff and his management sucks

Its my quick stop on my route home but is a bit old school ... it reminds me of the shopping trips I took with my parents back in the 80s ... but super clean and nice staff. Prices are average nothing too crazy, but never really looked at weekly specials either.

I mainly go for their sales of the week. It is a small store but is not usually packed so I’m in and out. It is well stocked. Could use a renovation!

Prices are great but perishable foods have been expired multiple times Ive gone here. I once bought refrigerated ravioli that were three months expired. the guy I spoke to couldnt believe that his store sold expired product. I followed him back to where I got the raviolis. He then found raviolis that were six months expired on the shelf!

Nice store, nice staff BUT, the meat department is lacking in quality. At least twice Ive opened a package of Foodtown brand chicken and the meat was old and smelly. The 1st instance I didnt make a big deal, sent it back for refund. Many months later I decide to get chicken and brought it home and same issue. It smelled badly. Had to return it. At this point will not buy meat from them at this store, especially store brand. They seem to keep selling older meats, that is gross. I also recall seeing one of the staff cleaning and wiping down counters in the meat dept and he was on top of the meat display and stepping on some of the meat packs with his boots, I could not believe it. My daughter and I just looked in disgust. I only get dry goods here because its closer to my home but for meats I go to shop rite. Buyer Beware with the meat department here its unsanitary.

This is a great store for your grocery needs. Its very clean & well organized. Small departments but very well stocked. Moderately prices on much of their products. Highly recommend shopping in this store.

Thought that this chain was going to be less expensive than others (Stop and Shop, ShopRite). Not the case. Smaller location to competing super markets and obviously smaller selection because of it, along with higher prices.

It is a small neighborhood store. Very convenient, decent prices and kept very clean. Parking is food, cashiers are pleasant, and lines move well. This is my main place to buy groceries.

The people who work here are all very friendly , especially in the deli. They carry Boars Head, and a great variety. Its just a little hard to come across ripe avacados or bananas here. The seafood selection is lacking but the prices are fair. Not many sales but overall I always have a good experience when I shop here.

Staff needs to smile more, it makes it more comfortable to shop and also while u paying. I like to feel cozy and enjoyable to spend my money where is worth it.

I like Foodtown because I can get everything I need there, I like the background music, the prices are decent, and the people on the registers are nice.

Its a grocery store. Its smaller than shop rite, but not nearly as hectic. You can find what you need here for anything standard. There are typically an adequate amount of registers open per the amount of customers so theres not a often a wait in my experience. It also closes pretty late, which is nice.

Its small, but great to buy small lists of stuff. The employee are always welcoming, and will always go out of their way to help!

Very helpful at customer service desk with Western Union for example. Employees are nice and caring. Prices can be higher than at larger food stores. Its a trade-off, smaller store so smaller lines and less time in store.

I went here thinking I would not be able to find pumpkin pies and apple pie last minute on Thanksgiving. Or find damaged pies. But they had good looking pies and good prices too.

This supermarket has what they call a 5 for $20 on selected meats it seems to be a good deal right? Wrong. what they do is on those meats they put the price per pound higher than the same meats on the not on sale meats. .thats how they get you be aware of these so call deals. .

Great supermarket thats been around for a long time. Not as big as your other larger chain supermarkets but you can find anything you need at decent prices.

They play great music there and have an on premises bakery, kitchen, snd deli.

Its small, its old, the aisles are tight but they tend to have an OK selection of items I like. Not great selection of produce. We dont go here often but when we have to, its ok.
