We needed over 20 panes of glass to replace the foggy glass in our windows, and we got several estimates for the job, as we found quite a broad range in price and availability from different companies. We were in the process of selling our condo quickly, and it looked like we would be proceeding with the open house before the foggy glass would be fixed...until we were referred to Virginia Glass House & Mirror! They really knocked it out of the park for us! Not only did they have the best price, they also fit us into their schedule a few days before our open house! Some of our windows were on a third story level, but they got the job done quickly and well for us. They had great customer service, and we are very appreciative of the work they did for us.

Brian and Leslie are the best! Customer service A+ hands down - something that is a lost art these days. I went in to get two small pieces of glass made for mirrors that I was mounting on the wall. When I walked in, Leslie greeted me with a smile. I explained to her what I wanted and she told me to leave the mirror there and they would have the glass made and I could pick up the following day. While I was there, I asked her if they fixed windows. She said yes! I explained that I had three windows that were broken - two were cracked and one kept slamming down hard. I was afraid that one of the kids fingers would get caught in it. She told me that would be no problem and scheduled me the next day to have someone come out to evaluate. When Brian came out, he brought my mirror that I had left and the glass he made and cut for me! How generous! After he measured and looked at my windows, he told me that he could fix them and scheduled me out for the following week. While he was here fixing my windows, I asked him if he could measure for two mirrored shelves. He did and had them ready for me the next day! I have to tell you these people are kind, prompt, and their work is impeccable! I really, really appreciate them. Ive already recommended them to my sister and two of my friends!

Brian is AWESOME. I had a large mirror that I needed to have cut down to size. I contacted him and he told me the best time to come to the shop. I thought I was going to have to drop it off and come back. He was able to complete the job in 20 minutes. It was fast and easy. His price was very reasonable as well. I will definitely use his services again.

Bryan was absolutely amazing! Was stuck because initial company couldnt complete an appraiser-required replacement of the stationary side of a sliding glass door in time for the closing of the sale of my home. Wouldve pushed closing back over a week, but this company got it done. Within 24 hours, Bryan had given me an estimate & completed the repair. Hire this company. The word satisfied doesnt cut it. Ecstatic is more like it!

If you need glass replaced, this the place to go.i had a crack in my house window. every company just wanted to replace it. He came in and said he could fix it and did. The turn around time was 24 hours, if that. Took him all of 15-20 mins to install the glass and boom saved $300 on installing new windows. Thanks for the on time install and great service!!

I needed the lower sash of my double hung window repaired. I brought my window in and within a few hours i received a call saying the window was finished. Very fast, very friendly, and very affordable. cannot recommend this place enough

Bryan was responsive, prompt, and efficient. He replaced two broken window panes and a broken storm window in less than an hour. I highly recommend, especially for window frames in old houses that aren’t in great shape.

Update to the first review: During the installation of the glass, my guy chipped one of the pieces and it could not be used. Brian once again came to my rescue. I texted him the info (late in the afternoon), and he had the new piece ready in the morning. Great service at a great price. What more could you ask for?! Five Stars...I found out about Brian oddly enough from a guy at Lowes. This guy is my new personal hero! Had to have several (6) custom pieces of glass cut for a project. Not only was the price way better than the other quotes I had obtained, but the turnaround time was amazing. I placed the order in the morning and was able to pick them up that afternoon. I was able to text him the dimensions so there was no confusion on the measurements. I prefer texting the info instead of trying to be heard in a noisy shop or a bad cell phone connection. Awesome! Highly recommend this business.

I googled this glass company on Saturday morning and called on the extreme chance they were open and able to come immediately. Brian not only answered but he was at the house to assess the broken window and had it repaired immediately! I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

We had a piece of cement come through one of our larger windows over the weekend. When we called Va Glass they were immediately responsive and replaced the window in an extremely timely fashion! Staff was very friendly and able to work around a large desk we had near the window. Would definitely recommend them!

Not sure what’s going on with this company. I called 3x to make an appointment for them to come and measure a wall I wanted mirrored. He told me he’d be back to me the next day. This was a month ago, I’ve left vm & texted several times!! Nothing!!

I contacted Brian on Nov. 13th after reading his reviews and having 3 previous Contractors come out in which 2 were unable to do the job due to the difficulties of getting the glass in the existing form of the China Cabinet. The other company I felt was way to expensive and just trying to hit me over the head, as they knew this was a piece of furniture that got broken in shipment and belonged to my recently deceased mother and was very sentimental to me. So, it was a relief to finally have someone to come out, review the job and advise it could be done. My scheduled appointment was on Nov. 15th at 9 am. It was 9:15 am and Brian had not showed up or called. I then reached out to him to confirmed if he was still coming. He asked my name and had not a clue who I was until he grabbed his other appt book. Then he said Yes, I have you for 9 am. I advised its 9:20. He said he was only 15 minutes away. This should have been a red flag. He came out shortly after to review the job. I shared with him that 2 other contractors said it was too difficult, the other was extremely high and said it would take a lot of man hours. Brian said, its just glass its not that difficult. Music to my ears!! Finally some good news. After Brian shared some of his personal life stories, and insight on his business and how he downsized, and was now just a one man show. I was compelled to give him my business. He said he could have the job down within a week, and advised he would send me the written estimate for my review after 2pm that day. Well, to date I have not received the estimate. I have reached out to him several times, only to get a recording that states his mailbox is full and unable to receive any more messages. I have texted him and gotten no response. I have even called him from another number. I am never one to bash an individual or a business Unless it is warranted. This is certainly warranted. Doing business with a one man show is risky, and I will not be wasting my time again. Take it from me, do business with a Company that has a large enough overhead that they have the manpower to not only do the job but they have office personal that can take calls, answer questions, and set the appointments. I have contacted yet another company that is scheduled for tomorrow. Hopefully, this one will work out.

I spoke to the owner an told him i will arrive in 45 mins . There is know one here and he wont answer the phone . I drove 45 mis to this location. I have wasted my time an energy and gas with this company . Very disappointed!!!!
