Ok so Jiffy Lube is okay. They are super fast and are super accurate as in they scan a code on your car and use that ad a guide for your milage (for your next oil change) and tire pressure requirement. Which is pretty cool, because most places seem to stick with the ol 3k. I was mixed between giving a 4 star or a 3star, because the service was overall pretty good, but the price coming in at $100 dollars is a bit excessive, I think. If you are planning to go in, check the website for coupons. One of the reasons that I chose to go here was the fact that with my job, a certain amount of money is reimbursed for car repairs. I think my complaint comes in that with the price they were supposed to give the windshield a cleaning, which would have been appreciated...but they never touched the windshield. It was still covered with pollen or what have you from the tree I have to park under. The receipt said it was done. If I go somewhere like the Walmart and they forget, I dont find it a big deal, but Walmart is about half the price for a similar service. It is a mixed bag I guess, because in this area I would not trust the Walmart on Tidewater to roll down my windows, much less work on my car. I will say the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they were super quick. If you have the money, the speed, accuracy, and friendliness is worth it. I will be back as long as I keep getting my reimbursements, but once that stops I will be somewhere else more affordable.

I am sure this place is under new management, but I am not complaining. Extremely friendly and nice. Unfortunately understaffed, but I hope it’s because they weeded out the staff that didn’t work with integrity. The staff was knowledgeable and explained any other issues (without a hard upswell). I appreciate this and will return for an oil change. Thank you for rebuilding my trust.

Super friendly workers, little short staffed for a Saturday but the service was quick and friendly. Its set up really nice where you wait in your car and they come up to the window with a tablet to get you checked in. They take the car into the two bays while you wait in the wait room. Got my oil changed in a jiffy (lol) and without hassle.

Went to Jiffy Lube while on the road traveling. Light came on that it was time for an oil change and I thought it would be quick like a jiffy. No I was told it would be a 2 hour wait. No thanks I will go elsewhere.

I noticed an immediate upshot in quality of service on my last visit:Thorough explanation of charges, offering discounts, showing air filter quality, professional customer service interaction, wiping windows, vacuuming, and properly checking auxiliary maintenance parts like wipers etc.Exemplary experience with staff.A message to Jiffy Lube upper management:Although this quality of service is the most ideal, the quality of service that is currently being achieved is only sustainable if the staff are being paid properly. You get what you pay for. Although, I highly appreciate the quality of service, I would bet the current circumstances are unsustainable long term.

Extremely expensive and unprofessional. They do not even have the means to fill up fluids stating the windshield wiper fluid machine pump is broken, which the should have disclosed. I am not confident that my oil was changed correctly either due to non transparency. Expect to pay almost $100 for a simple oil change and leave not knowing if you have to fill up everything else. What happened to service and value?

Absolutely no COVID-19 safety protocols used. I dropped my van off to get an oil change. I was greeted by an attendant with no face mask. She opened my door for the VIN with absolutely no protections or minimum distance. I left to go get something to eat. When I returned I noticed that no customers in the waiting room were wearing any protection or practicing social distancing, so I waited outside until it was time to pay. When my vehicle was complete I was honestly tempted just to not pay vs taking a chance going into the waiting area to pay. There were a total of 5 customer with employees constantly in and out in an area about 10x10 ft area with absolutely no face coverings or social distancing. What was equally surprising was when the manager came in to accept payment and again no face covering. If I am not mistaken, VA law still requires face coverings and social distancing. It is because of establishments such as this that we are having such a hard time with this virus. Please for your safety avoid this place. Hopefully corporate will see this review and correct this place.

Did excellent job, Didnt have to wait long. Which is a bonus in my book and my car feels so much better. Also gave a discount and before leaving they give a book discount on other things. Also my car key is not a regular key it is a circle and it happened to fall in a space in my car and tried to get out but couldnt, the person helped get it out which is appreciative. Will be back!

I don’t leave reviews generally, but I have never dealt with such terrible service before. I bought a Groupon for an typical oil change/tire rotation/window treatment for$47.99. I had purchased this same Groupon before without any problems and my wife purchased the synthetic blend version over the weekend for $69.99. I get to the location Michael S. (According to the receipt) tells me that my car needed a synthetic blend. When I pointed out that the same Groupon had been purchased and used before he said “they didn’t know what they were doing…they’ve all been fired.” (Mind you, this was 5 months ago.) I acquiesced and asked what the upcharge would be. He said $29.99. I apprehensively agreed. I told him that I didn’t need the tire rotation and that when I brought my wife’s car over the weekend and didn’t use the tire rotation that it refunded through their computer just less than $7. He said ok.When it was time for the payment, the charges went from $29.99+tax ($6) to a total of $43.98 (and nothing addressing the afore mentioned lack of tire rotation that had been done over the weekend). Now I have paid a total of $98.97 for an oil change and rude service. When I tried to ask him about the price difference he said quickly “there’s nothing I can do about it. We don’t deal with Groupon; it’s a 3rd party vendor.” I said that my confusion isn’t with Groupon, rather his quote of $29.99. He said again, “I don’t have anything to do with Groupon.” I reiterated that this isn’t about the Groupon, rather it was his specific quote. He stared at me. I asked to speak to a manager. He said he was the manager. I asked for whoever he answered to, even if it was the owner. He refused and stared at me. After I paid, he told me, “have a good day and don’t come back.”

Ironic how both my headlights don’t work immediately after taking my car here. If I had the resources they do I would have done a much cleaner job of adding oil back into my car after changing the filter. Appreciate the fluid top offs but I won’t be returning. Way over priced. Sloppy.

Fast and easy service for a great price.

We went in for an oil change on one car and when the tech was done he asked about my car. We really hadnt planned on paying for 2 services but the tech gave us a break on the price so we drove away with both cars purring! They checked tire pressure and vacuumed as well. The real reason for 5 stars was because we grabbed a bite to eat thinking it was going to be a while but our first car was done before we could even taste a few fries. Times are tough out there, please support businesses that go above and beyond to provide great experiences.

It was COLD today lol, still good service since I have been going. Very respectable people, even when an older woman was being impatience due to the lack of people working today. They were still showing respect and kindness.

We went for a oil change. It was quick. But they used our Master key for locking the lug-nuts of the tires. And they forgot to return or even mention while we have no clue there is key that comes with our car that works like that. We realized it on our next oil change. And now they don’t have ANY KEY. And it costs us 60$ extra to get a new one and get car work done! Beware of this!

Longest Ive ever had to wait for an oil change. Just sitting here on my lunch break, late, because my car is sitting in the shop being ignored.

Was overdue for an oil change and couldnt get in at my regular place. These guys made it happen in about 20 minutes from the time I got there. Its pricey (I use full synthetic), but my car has been happier since and the service was good.

Do not trust them to check all your fluids or to fill them . If you do I recommend you check all your fluids when you leave , my coolant was not checked nor was it filled up . When I called the manager to inform him that nobody checked or filled my coolant he was super nasty and kept talking about it could’ve been a leak .

Great service /customer service and support.

I came in and they were able to see me right away. On top of the quick oil change, they checked my fluids, topped off my transmission fluid, disposed of the rubbish I had in the floorboard of my backseat, and even vacuumed my car, all in about 20-25 minutes. I was seriously impressed.Staff kept me updated, and for the price I paid, the service was excellent.

This location is the best! Jarrod the Assistant Manager is a customer service pro as well as a tech in the bay! Prices are a bit high however they are generous with coupons and the convenience and reliance are invaluable.

Went to get my oil changed. Man at Jiffy Lube told me that my car had an oil leak. Was driving it back home and my wheel locked up and was leaking power steering fluid. Went to my regular mechanic to go and get it checked out. Said that the hose for my power steering fluid was taken off and there was no oil leak.

Pricey, but in and out fast service!!

I waited out back for a while in line at 6pm. A guy was talking to a car in front of me. Then there was a truck after I was the third car. I drove off because I think that it was close to closing and they probably did not want to change my oil. Maybe next time Lube.

As a pull around the building, the guy in the back told me I need it breaks as I came to a stop. He then asked me if Ive been here before, I said no. Then he began yanking on my door handle as I sit there with my seatbelt on in my foot on the brake. I told him I simply wanted a oil change. He directed me straight to the waiting room. I sat there briefly as I watched them up sale people in the shop. Not knowing how long the wait was, how much the oil change would cost, and not receiving any additional information. I googled some reviews, I walked back to my car which was still running, and I left.

I give them two stars because Ive only gone there once and got service and it was actually good.Other times I have gone, there have been issues. One of the main one was the guy came to the truck like he was mad at the world. Then when we told him we needed a tire rotation he said he couldnt do it because of the rail on the truck. His words...: cant do it because.....of..(steps back, looks down)...the rail... 1.Weve gotten a tire rotation there before. 2.There was nothing special about the rail. We have a NISSAN TITAN! Where is the issue? He just didnt want to do his job! We definitely wont be back and I will be sure to spread the word about the horrible service. Thanks to the guys who gave me good service before. Im sorry everyone is taking the hit.

Went here after trying for 3 days and each day before even greeting us they said an hour to an hour and half wait... Funny thing no cars were even being serviced. I paid top dollar for an oil change and then I noticed there was a check list on the receipt after checking behind them none of the items checked off were even touched. I use to go to Car Spa on Holland to get my oil changed for years. As of this year I started coming to Jiffy Lube on Little Creek because it is much closer to Ocean View. I always have a good experience whether I bring my vehicle or my moms. The employees are always sociable and make me feel comfy. I recently went to Jiffy Lube last Tuesday or Wed of last week and the gentleman advised me that they were out of the oil I needed until end of week (which was cool, an inconvenience but it happens, no biggie). I return back today leaving work at 5:15 and making it there by 5:50. I pulled up to the bay as usual and waited and waited and waited, Employees saw me but no one came to my vehicle. I then get out of my vehicle and walk into the work area with the vehicles. I ask a woman would I be able to get an oil change. She stated Maybe you can in a non joking matter. She then states she has 2 cars in front of me and she is closing at 7. At this point its not even 6:00pm. She still never answered my question. It was quite awkward. So I say do you think by 6:45 or a little later because I have to pick my child up later on. She then says Oh well I got two cars in front of you oh nah and justs walks away to a truck parked in a parking spot near the dumpster. No customer service what so ever. At this point I dont know what happened. I have been there before and have been out within the hour with a packed house on a Saturday, I was quite pissed because I purposely waited to come back to this particular Jiffy Lube and was dismissed because of two other cars. This lady needs to touch up on her communication skills and make sure to keep her shirt down so we dont have to see her boxers whens she walks away abruptly. Other than that they have always done me right but I do feel uncomfortable going back now.

The staff was not friendly or helpful. I felt they were unhappy I gave them business in a time where there were no other cars for them to work on. And they wouldn’t, or couldn’t put my tire under my truck because they were standing around talking

One of the techs was smoking while under the hood of my car. They drained and refilled the oil but no evidence the filter was changed or fluids were checked. And they charged $100 for doing basically nothing. I will not go back.

The guys greeting me were polite and helpful. However, Angela who seemed to be in charge of customer service was literally the rudest person Ive ever encountered in a professional capacity. She was so nasty that I was laughing about it. I would probably avoid this place if you dont like being snipped at for spending money. Oh. Definitely do NOT ask if tire rotation is included in your 80 dollar service. It is clearly not, has never been, and you should probably go kill yourself for asking.

DO NOT GO HERE!! My friend meant well and brought my car here for a new alternator. They were going to charge me $300 and I called them while they had my car apart and said please put my car back together, I had a bad experience just getting an oil change at a different jiffy lube and want a shop that specializes in this issue to fix it. They complied. I took it to my shop and they said your alternator is perfectly fine, your friend just made a mistake and killed your battery. I was SO thankful for the honesty and I will NEVER go to a jiffy lube again because they are unethical.

I am unable to make it until very close to the closing time due to my own job. On three different occasions, I have went to this location near closing time, just to be told that they are out of oil. I head to the next location and they never have the same issue. I believe that as soon as they are feeling lazy at this location, they give customers that same excuse. Nobody wants to work close to the closing time, which I understand, but it is seriously poor customer service to turn away a paying customer because of this. It really makes me wonder how many money has been lost due to lazy closing employees.

Good customer service does not make up for sub-par workmanship I got an oil change and tire rotation today done quick, maybe too fast because the assistant manager who personally worked on my vehicle neglected to tighten the lug nuts on one of my wheels I almost lost my wheel, however I did lose 2 locking nuts at some point which I know have to replace which means buying a new set. Although when I returned and spoke to this Assistant manager I did receive a Im Sorry. If you value your property or your life and you still wish to go here check your lug nuts before you drive away.

Great place to get oil changes. Ive been going here for about a year. Always friendly and quick service. They have free WiFi and a TV available while you wait. I bring my kids with me and theyve been great about helping with doors and such.

Expensive. I didn’t like that I couldn’t remain in my car while they changed my oil. I had my dog with me and I couldn’t bring him inside, couldn’t stay in my car, so I had to wait outside. Which wasn’t so bad because it was shady in the front, but there was nowhere to sit. They have a nice flower bed but a bench would have been much better.

Took my vehicle there to get oil change and left with a skid plate not properly installed which fell off and trashed the bottom my vehicle. Now theyre telling me I have to handle it with corporate and corporate is telling me I have to handle it with the owner of the franchise. I can see the owner is on here commenting so maybe you can provide me some assistance?!? Just got off the phone with your store manager Chris he has all my information I will be waiting for your call!!!

Horrible. Tech did a higher priced oil change than Ive ever had WITHOUT discussing options with me first. As a white haired woman, I really think this was elder scam. Then my receipt was not mailed to me. I went back and talked to the manager who wasnt there earlier. I was not offered a rebate.

The staff were polite, prideful in their work, generally happy, and willing to answer all of my questions regarding my oil change procedure. The technicians also gave me general recommendations involving preventative maintenance on my car. I would highly recommend the services of this particular Jiffy Lube to anyone.

When I first moved here a year and a half ago, theyre were awesome. One of the guys even prevented me from getting a transmission fluid change I didnt need. Recently I went in for just an oil change and they came up with several issues that I knew didnt exist and performed several other complimentary services that werent actually performed (they said they filled my tired to 35psi, my sensors indicated and physically showed that it was flat). Until they get their act together, I would steer clear .

Series of events:1. Walked in2. Person was rude as all hell (we understand you dont like working on the weekdays, but we all have to do it. Buck up, buttercup)3. Walked my happy ass right out.

Arrived to this location at around 430p 12/27/18. Pulled up to an empty bay where there were no cars being serviced and one worker present(tall white guy bald with a goatee). Once I parked, in usual jiffy lube fashion I waited for him to come to my car. He visibly intentionally ignored me and continued on the computer. So I asked hey are you guys open without even looking my way he responds I guess. So at that point I pulled off because any smart person wouldnt let a person who clearly hates their job work on their car. This review is simply to warn customers because for him to have behaved like that on the clock obviously thats just how that place runs. So I have no expectation for anything to be done about it. So fair WARNING to all looking to go here and wanting to see reviews first please BEWARE DO NOT bring your car here for an oil change.

Called before i went and was told not busy at all...got there in 10 minutes guy says about 45 to hour wait...i said i just spoke to you..he said well people pulled in..ok i get that and said id come back...i go back 30 minutes later..different guy comes out and says their delivery is on the 15th and the oil change today would be 89 dollars! I said for oil change and he said yes....another guy starts yelling from inside delivery on the 15th....rude...unprofessional kids....ive never been before...i didnt have it done...and Ill never go back...

I havent yet had the opportunity to take my car here, but sadly, you couldnt pay me enough to do so. On multiple instances, Ive been shouted at by unprofessional, child-like employees here while they were in uniform within the shop, and most recently, something very inappropriate was said. I expect so much more from a business that prides themselves in the customer service they give, but unfortunately, they chose to make a potential customer feel uncomfortable instead...

EVERY time Ive been to this particular Jiffy Lube there has ALWAYS been a problem...ALWAYS! The only reason I kept going back is because my family has a business account there for their company and they allow me to charge services to their account, not to mention its down the street from my house. Well, I went there last week but called ahead of time to make sure they could do a transmission fluid change on my particular vehicle. They said yes, but I get there and they said they couldnt do it. Ok, no problem, so I said Ill just do an oil change, but told TWO employees to make sure they use the oil filter I brought that was sitting on the passenger seat and to put the old one in the box the new one came in. (The reason I wanted the old one back in the box is because Jiffy Lube has been busted and known to use old filters or not change filters at all on vehicles to save money.) Of course, they forgot and I went back in and told them they didnt use my filter I brought, they said Oh, sorry, but our filters are really good. I said, Im sure they are but I want the filter I brought put on. I got attitude like it was my fault and I was inconveniencing them, even though I made sure I told two employees in case the first one forgot. They pulled my truck back in and put the filter I brought on but didnt put the old one back in the box like I asked, not to mention overcharged me by charging me for an oil filter which they shouldnt have done because I brought my own. I went back in and said I didnt get the old one back like I asked. So he goes in the back and grabs an oil filter (which I doubt was actually the old one that was on my truck) and comes back to the counter and proceeds to hand me this dirty, greasy, oily filter. I said can you put it in the box the new one came in? He said, they threw the box away. I said, come on man, seriously? So he gets pissed, goes in the shop and wraps it up in some dirty, greasy, oily rags and comes back and hands it to me. I just said screw it, walked out, and will never return.I understand some customers are a pain for no reason, but to not do a service right, EVER, that a paying customer asks for and then treat them so rude and disrespectfully is unacceptable. From now on, I will just take it to the Ford dealership to have the oil changed. Id rather pay triple and have no headaches or problems than have to deal with the horrific customer service at Jiffy Lube on Little Creek Road in Norfolk.

Man!!!! I was trying to leave to leave VA an noticed my car was overheating. Came in for an oil change an Chris told me he could get it done. Not only did Chris but the rest of the Jiffy Lube team made sure everything was A Ok. Highly recommend coming to get your work done. They are a one stop shop an more. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!

Went here for an oil change. Cost me $100 and whoever worked on my car forgot to put the oil cap back on. Smelled oil the next day while driving and found it when I got home - oil was splattered all over underneath my hood. What a mess and a waste of oil. I’m sure it was an honest mistake, but I won’t be returning.

I just went there this morning 1/15/18 and the service was wonderfully quick, I think I was there for 20 minutes. They did a great job, was really nice to have the tires checked, interior vacuumed, the little amenities that come with the oil change.

We had our oil and filter changed at this location, a 30-40 dollar service where i normally take my car at the dealership, they wanted almost 50. which would be fine on such short notice. We were going out of town the next day, so we deiced to try these guys. So apparently this was a hard job to do properly, because 4 hours later into our drive out of town, the oil plug fell out going 70 mph, we pulled over and all the oil was poring out. really you forgot to tighten the the oil plug. I could have done this at home better myself. and my engine could have been destroyed. never going back here

Mechanic had attitude. But was polite which is weird. Got in my car. Had oil on my steering wheel and now my headliner is stained black with some bs he had on his hands. He Sat in my car in a SUPER dirty shirt I whipped the seat down n had black residue on the cloth this was after I noticed the back of my white tshirt was stained . Smh. Won’t go back to that spot.
