This shop has some unique, funky hats that are almost intimidating to wear but if you have an open mind and choose to get a one-of-a-kind masterpiece you are bound to become a new person and be taken to some unexpected new places. run by a kindhearted family, every visit is a treat. theyre also always playing some really nice tunes.

Yokkoyama is a small, independently owned and operated hat store. The hats are hand made by the owner Hiro, who is warm and very friendly. The quality is top notch and they have very unique styles as well as more standard styles with little unique differences and signatures of the artisan. I recommend this place to anyone in the market for a unique hat.

Wasn’t in the market for a new hat but dropped into Hiro’s spot while strolling around the neighborhood. Has some of the coolest, most unique hats I’ve seen. Walked out with two caps that I constantly get complimented on. He also will custom make hats for you. Haven’t done that yet, but I most likely will.UPDATE:I in fact had a custom fedora built by Hiro. It is exactly what I wanted and more. I officially will not be purchasing hats from anywhere but Yokkoyama. He is a talented hat maker.
