Super cute and accessible Nintendo store in midtown. Mario characters on first floor. Pokémon, Zelda, Kirby, etc. on second floor. They also showcase all the different Nintendo consoles on the second floor. All the service staff were so knowledgeable and friendly.A lot of the items are actually quite affordable, probably because it’s made in China. A plushie was about $10. So stock up on all the colors of Yoshi’s!

The staff was absolutely wonderful and did a great job in helping me with the problems I had (ty so much Ed!)The store was very clean and the kind and polite security made sure that everything was orderly.I wont comment on much else because you get almost exactly what you expect when you come to this Nintendo store.This was a fun experience, and I hope to come again in the near future with some friends and family.

I absolutely love the Nintendo NY store! I visited once before many years ago when it was still called Nintendo World, but it was still as enjoyable as it was then. The merchandise was irresistible and the displays on the second floor, alongside the statues were a joy to see.Compared to my first visit, I feel like there was less merchandise out, and everything was spaced out more than I remember, likely to accommodate for COVID safety requirements, which is appreciated! That didnt stop me from finding many items to purchase! I dont think a trip to New York City is complete without visiting the Nintendo store!Add this place to your list of spots to visit if you are or were ever into Nintendo games and characters. They have something for everyone!

First time going to the Nintendo Store and they had a decent collection of items. Their consoles were off limits due to covid, but they had one game they were debuting that they let people try out. Other than that, nice place and would go again if I had the chance.

If you love Nintendo and are in NYC you gotta step in. They have tons of exclusive merchandise as well as games and consoles for sale. They also have some neat stuff on display like old consoles and props.

As a big gamer visiting NYC, it was a joy to be able to go into the Nintendo store. Got some gifts for the family and took a few photos. Very clean, fast check out, lots of nintendo merch. It was awesome.

Two floors of Nintendo retail that was enjoyable, but not as much of an experience as I would have expected.There is plenty of clothing, t-shirts, and other wearable items that are neat, if youre looking for that kind of stuff.There is a really cool display that has all the products in the evolution of the Gameboy and handheld systems.There is also a few big Mario characters on display. Otherwise, youre not getting much of anything more here at the store.

A store devoted to all things Nintendo should be fantastic. Indeed it has a lot of classic items in a museum-like format. However its two stories of items for sale are just not enough to fit everything they have to offer, and Ive had trouble finding what I want. Its great to visit once, but more space could take this store to the next level.

Store is fantastic as always. There was a line in which some young, ignorant black kids where trying to skip us. I quickly shut that down. The employees are friendly and helpful.

This is the only official Nintendo store that’s open to the public in the US, so it’s really special. I’ve been going here for over 10 years and it’s still fun to visit! There is usually a line to wait to get in due to COVID restrictions but it moves pretty quickly. It’s a great place to pick up games and cute Nintendo exclusive merchandise.

Pretty cool place if youre a Nintendo fan, theyve got a decent selection of Nintendo merch to get. Also a little bit of a history with their showcase of consoles on the second floor. It usually depends on what game had just released for what merch theyre really pushing. When I visited, it was Pokemon. Impossible to get a reasonably sized shirt here. I couldnt find any medium sized shirts that were just of Nintendo NYC.

This place is awesome. I had to make this a stop on my trip to New York. Great merchandise, not too pricey and the staff is super friendly. I look forward to coming back again! Cheers from Chicago.

This place is like walking into your childhood dreams! From the life sized sculptures of your favorite Nintendo character. Even if you dont plan on buying anything its worth checking out.

For Nintendo lovers. This store is so fun and vibrant. With great displays of old games and consoles to cute stuffed animals and ultra soft clothing and games for sale. On the 2nd floor, they have Nintendo cards for sale behind the cashier. Cool life size Zelda, Bowser and Pikachu figures you can take a picture with. This is a must see store for all gamers!

The staff here is great at answering all your questions and finding what you need. Also, the place brings back a bit of nostalgia.

The available articles are good but the attention of the personal it’s regular. One girl attended us great buy another guy was bad tempered and affected the shopping experience. It didn’t reached my expectations (and I’m a fan since 1995). I’ll think it twice to return.

A place for childhood, where Pikachu hangs out with Bowser watching Link being mistaken for Zelda.The store had two stories with games on the first floor, stuff animals and manga on the second floor.

Amazing place! If you love videogames, you will have a good time visiting this store. The prices were note high as expected, you can find new items on different seasons. Even franchises not so popular are present, like Splatoon.

Great selection of Pokémon plush toys. Mario, Zelda and other Nintendo Games. Its a cool place to visit. Pre-COVID, you could play some of the games on the Switch and 3DS, such as Pokémon and Mario. They also have on display a collection of Nintendo gaming devices on display.

A world of Nintendo in New York City! Clothing, video games, accessories, etc. all of which are Nintendo themed. Without Covid19 restrictions, people can try video games. Its a great place to visit if youre a video game fan!

I felt like a kid again!! I was super excited to find Nintendo store! Stand in line to get in due to covid. Line was moving fast. They had all the favorite characters from Nintendo. I wanted Pikachu stuffy but it was sold out.. but its definitely a place to visit especially when you grew up with Nintendo!!

This place is AWESOME! Ive been following Nintendo NY on Instagram for a while so a stop here was a must on a recent trip to Manhattan. My family and I certainly were not let down by how much there was to do and see here, even though it really is just a store. And Nintendo fan MUST make time for a visit here if youre anywhere near the area.

Visited the store for the first time, was a neat experience. Got to see some cool looking merch, like clothes and Lego sets. Pretty nifty to see the oldest working Gameboy thats been through literal war! Bought myself the latest Mario Party in preparation for a party. Overall a great time!

Beautiful store, I feel like Im being repetitive with my reviews about the stores in times square, they are all beautiful like seriously I cant just say this is better than the other one 😍😍😍😍 hehe, anyways back to the Nintendo store, it feed my most 🤓 instincts hahaha, they have great products and the customer services is just wonderful, I want to highlight that they are following all the COVID-19 regulations. Honestly a bit of a tourist spot in Rockefeller Center. There are many cool things in the store and things to take pictures of. The store also has new and seasonal items you can get your hands on. However, the overall inventory is limited, and there isnt a ton of variety. There is a lot of space in the store to walk around, which goes into it being more of a tourist spot than store itself.

It was a neat experience but I was disappointed that they didnt have any exclusive items there for purchase. Like a special system with a unique design or a limited edition item. The displays were nice and it was cool to see all the systems on display but honestly it was a little underwhelming for a flagship store. Ive seem cooler more unique items for purchase at Think Geek and Boxed lunch.

Theres a short wait to get in but this place has a wide selection of exclusive Nintendo merch thats being rotated seasonally. If youre a Nintendo fan this is the place to go while its still around. Im so happy this place made it through the pandemic.

I loved the Nintendo Store!!! It was amazing!! My inner child was delighted and I went back for a second visit during my trip. Even if you dont buy anything, there is so much to look at! Still an amazing place during COVID. New restrictions fr COVID are that they require masks while in the store, they only accept debit/credit card and they encourage shoppers to spend 20 minutes in the store. All of the playable games/stations are closed understandably. Lots of fun stuff in there as usual and all staff are amazing. I also got free wrapping paper!

Picked up a few things for my friend who is in the hospital but found that there wasnt a ton of stuff to purchase when it came to shirts and merch in generally. Not sure what happened over the years but there seems to be a real lack of items in the store. It is still very nice but wish there was more stuff like it was years ago.

Cant just spend only 30 mins and $50 in there. Youre always gonna want more, and to go back again and again. Marios there to chat sometimes, & the upstairs floor def has more to browse and love. Bottom floor is primarily Mario merch

A gamer’s paradise!!! The staff were all so friendly.. I’m sure loving what you’re doing helps! My son was able to try out some new games. I was able to point out the systems I used to own (and talk about how simple and great it used to be!). And we left with some Nintendo New York merchandise he gets to wear around!!Definitely a neat memory. I highly recommend eve if you’re just looking around.

I had my initial skepticism but this place really did make my husband happy. Were in our 30s, but have been gaming for over 20 years each. Hes mostly the console player, hence the stop. Overall, we spent 20-30 minutes in the store. My only complaint is that the marketing and development teams should convince corporate to invest in a larger store with more merch - like the Harry Potter one. They would make more money, and improve customer experience. We did nerd out on a few memorabilia moments.

I went here back in December for the first time and wow I cannot wait to go again! It’s Nintendo World, the place was perfect, and it’s great that there’s a line to get in so that when people leave the store, more/new people can go in. Just be aware of that when going for the first time, but it’s definitely worth the wait!! Huge place with 2 stories and you can interact with people who love Nintendo, from other customers to even the staff! Great service, fun and amazing experience you’ll never forget!

This place is actually really magical. Beyond the store itself they have a small museum to nintendo products and their staff seem really enthusiastic about their brand.

Nintendo NYC is an amazing place. However, I felt rushed to shop as they are limiting amount of people in store, with a long line outside and frequent announcements of please limit your shopping to 20 mins. Then I go to checkout and only 1 person is checking people out and the line is long while other employees are stocking. An amazing experience none the less we also went before closing and Im sure employees are trying to get home.

Really nice spot to look at Nintendo novelties. Small but nice. Mostly merch on both floors. If you’re in the East Coast give it a visit. But otherwise I’d recommend to wait until Nintendo World is open.

I took my daughter here and she loved it. Due to the pandemic only a few people are allowed in at a time and you have 30 minutes once inside....which was plenty enough time for us.

I always love stopping by Nintendo NY when Im in the city. They have a wide selection of merchandise that you cant always find at other stores. The bottom of the store is currently dedicated to Super Mario themed items while the top level features Pokémon and Legend of Zelda items. I always find the perfect gift or treat for myself when I shop here. They also have a few display areas throughout the store where youll see some awesome collectibles.If you are a Nintendo fan I highly recommend stopping by Nintendo NY.

Really good store if I had one complaint I wish there was more staff but the full Nintendo shopping experience was there I especially love how the store also has merchandise for their properties that for all intents and purposes are under shadowed by juggernauts like Pokemon and Zelda. Meaning properties like Kirby and Pikmin appear in the lineup alongside them which is how it should be and how it is here.

What a wave of nostalgia! I had my doubts about going to the Nintendo Store because it is always packed to the gills! I arrived on a Friday night without kids and perused the goods. Cool shirts and other knickknacks. As an 80s kid, I appreciated the wall of entertainment systems. The ROBOT was my favorite and I only got to play it once as a kid. The item that was so clearly missing, and perhaps I just didn’t spot it was the Power Glove! For those of you who don’t know what the Power Glove is, Google it or watch the Wizard. Cheers.

Bought my new switch here! The people were really nice here and helpful, I hadnt planned for stopping here but Im glad I did. Wished Id gotten pics of it so I hope my review is enough, I highly recommend stopping in, itd be well worth it.

If you love Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, Animal Crossing or anything Nintendo, you must definitely go. So many cool things to see and the sales associates is really nice. Make sure you visit the top floor. Store has lots of photo props to use. Everything is separated in displayed very nicely. Price is pretty fair. Remember its a must see.

Best place to have all your memory your nostalgia fulfilled. This place is not just a place for video games. It is also a museum that shows all the advancements of Nintendo over the year. I found the earlier Nintendo devices were easier to play as compared to recent ones. The recent ones look cool and fancy but it is very difficult to get a good hang of it. Overall this place is highly recommended for everyone who ever heard of Mario. Love it so much ! Love it love it love it !!!

I really enjoyed this shop.This is a huge 2 story Nintendo store right near the Rockefeller Christmas tree. They have a lot of interesting and unique items for sale. They also have current and former gaming systems on display and for purchase. It is somewhat like a mini museum as well as a store.For any Nintendo aficionado this is a must while in NY city.

Cute store with historical items on display.Didnt have as many purchasable items as I was expecting considering it is the only Nintendo store...Both the M&M store, Hersheys Store and the Harry Potter store were much larger with a vast selection to purchase.

5 stars for great customer service. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and keeps the line moving quick. I did hope to see more merchandise. The store seemed kind of sparse in terms of shirts and Pokemon cards.

Well the cashier and two other guys have good customer service skills and very friendly, the others not so much.
