Does not adhere to proper COVID regulations, owner gives preference to certain clients garments over others. Inconsistent in showing up for work, and inconsistent quality of work.Do not support this business. The owner, Nestor, falsely accused his wife of domestic violence, had her arrested in front of their children, traumatizing them. To make matters worst, he does not provide any financial/emotional support to his 4 children, all minors, whom are making ends meet by visiting food pantries. The man has no shame.

He always does a great for me. I have very high end clothes that need snaps and other things. He alway take care of them very well.

BEWARE! This place does not care for its customers garments. I brought in a fully finished velvet jacket to get snaps and they put a strip of masking tape on the FRONT of the jacket with my employees phone number on it which completely ruined the jacket. It tore out pieces of the velvet pile and is very visible. To make things worse, when I brought in the jacket to show them what they had done, the man working there TRIED TO BLAME IT ON MY EMPLOYEE! She only relayed the phone number to the lady working there, did not see her put the tape on nor did she put the tape on herself. First of all, who puts masking tape on the outside of a finished garment!? At least put it on the inside, or pin a note to it with the phone number, or put it in the pocket of the garment - there are so many options. When I asked for a refund, he wouldnt give it to me without the receipt - which normally is understandable except that my employee was there literally 10 minutes earlier. Second of all, the guy was not apologetic at all and did not seem to care that they completely ruined a $1600 jacket! I would have at least left a tad happy if he had shown some sort of empathy. I am NEVER going back here again and I do not recommend them.UPDATE: A PHOTO OF THE LADY PUTTING MASKING TAPE ON GARMENTS!!! BYE FELICIA!

Was referred here after unseccessfully going to two other places in Garment district that werent doing snaps. Waited 15 min and had my dress fixed for $3.50! Highly recommend!

Let s be honest this place is the best! They work good and fast and if the matter guy thinks something is not right he ll tell you and propose an alternative. His prices are good and he always smiles! I ve been going there for years and followed him at all his locations ! Keep on going !!!

Wow, horrible experience. I had a very long wait and when it was finally my turn it turns out to be very unpleasant. Very rude, unwilling to help and unwilling communicate. They wouldnt even show me the snaps when I was there for a good 10 mins. It seems like they are more willing to help the people who spoke their language. First time visit and will not return!! Such a waste of my time.

Worst experience here!! They messed up my handbag and put everything in upside down or on the wrong side. This guy needs to pay more attention to details. He always blames the customer and NEVER TAKES RESPONSIBILITY!!! I mean the customer is always right!! What garbage service. Even the people at pacific and steinlauf & Stoller tell students not to go there. Get it together star snaps !!!!!! When you put a hole in leather thats it so dont you be careless and do it all wrong. DESIGNERS DONT COME HERE !! Save yourself the hell.

Horrible!!! There are many other places that do the same work this guy does, with much better service and much better results. Hes so rude, when he makes a mistake, he blames it on the customer. I dropped in 2 hoods to get snaps days ago and he has not finished them yet! He gave me a time frame and did not meet it, hes wasted my time completely and its really upsetting that he doesnt even care to apologize. He has horrible customer service and many other people have experienced the same with him. Ive had several friends who have had the same experience with him. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Its your luck wether it works out for you or not. If you have something very important, I would NOT recommend relying on this place! I used to give him business all the time, I am not longer going to go there for anything. This is the second time hes really messed up with my stuff, and hes given me attitude both times. No one should run a New York business like this. I recommend Steinlauf & Stoller instead. Theyre on 221 W 37th! Much better service and results and theyre NOT RUDE !!!

Service may be slow but they are some of the best and are swamped with business. A great selection if youre just looking for snaps for your own work and real professionals at applying snaps to individual pieces.

Tiny shop, bad selection and the guy lied to me (which cost me $6 and almost the project but somebody set me straight). i found a better place two doors down and there are many, many shops that sell what they have and do the same services and have a huge selection, all in a few blocks of this place (garment district).

Super nice and great at what they do. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Called before I went there, arrived there and they asked me to give 20 minutes. After I came back, I waited 15 minutes again.I was mad already but they never said me sorry.

Omg when I say something that went wrong, he would just ignore what I am complaining about and just keep say what he did was right.

I needed to replace the rivet-style button used on jeans. No other store in the garment district carried them, and the repair shop told me to go buy a button and they would charge $10 to put it on the pants. Instead, this place has every jean button, grommet, or brad imaginable, and the owner put it on for me for free. Whole repair: $2.
