This is one of my favorite dessert places ever. Every time I come here I have to control myself. My favorite flavor by far is rum and raisin and butterscotch. I love the packaging, the humorous decor and most of all the portions.

Was passing by this place , and asked the postal man eating outside how’d he like it . His response basically made me park the car on the hydrant and try it. This was so good , couldn’t even believe place like this existed. So many different flavors and options in sizes. Definitely recommend anyone to try it if you in the area. Also the lady working was super friendly.

I have to admit, at first I was not sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. The flavor selection is vast and really tastes amazing! Especially with the warm weather, the cold rice pudding hit the spot! I honestly would recommend splitting a bowl...it is much heavier and filling than I expected. Pros : Loved this place with all different flavors of Rice puddings. The pudding itself was stellar. While I wanted to try multiple flavors, I settled for 2 flavor option, tried the Butter Pecan + Mascarpone.The vibe and decor of the place was very inviting as well.Cons : Their reusable plasticware is probably built into their price model, however, while as cute as they look in vibrant colors, I wish the place was more environmentally conscious.And they didnt have masks on, at least the older gentleman who seemed to be the owner nor did they enforce customers have it on.

I had an omni to-go: oreogasm with black magic topic, man-made mascarpone with mischief topping, and fluent in french toast. I liked each, wouldnt say I loved them, but rating five stars because I love the unique concept and visually appealing layout - - that was an experience.

Best rice pudding spot ever. Funny signs set up around the place and the food is great. Definitely recommend. Got the epic with mascarpone and cheesecake and it was pretty good. Have gotten Oreo before which is solid.

As far as rice pudding goes, it’s pretty good. A large variety of flavors too.

Caramel, vanilla and the old fashioned are cool. Its a little on the heavier side so I d make it a meal or share if you choose to have it as dessert.

It might just be the new thing to do.I first heard about this place when a friend shared a “Must Try Desserts in NYC” article. I was in the neighborhood and figured I’d try it out (since online everyone was raving about the place and the pudding.)Upon entering the locale, the vibe is welcoming, and the cheeky signs immediately caught my attention. Witty and cheeky comments on each sign will make you laugh while waiting in line to place your order (signs are not for the faint of heart. No light jokes there.)My friend tried the chocolate chip rice pudding, which was simple, not overbearingly sweet. I decided to try out different flavors and ordered the trio for $14 (which is a good price compared to the one flavor for $10.) The trio I picked consistent of Standard/Regular Rice Pudding, Caramel And Rum Raisin.I found the regular rice pudding to be quite bland and lacking flavor, it is overly creamy but there was no flavor to it. I would potentially try it again, but it’s not the flavor I would go for. The caramel was much tastier, on the sweeter side, it had a cinnamon and caramel flavor, very creamy. Now, the BEST ONE... Rum Raisin! I could eat a whole pint of this. Perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess without it being overwhelmingly either or. The flavors stood out and popped here, vanilla, cinnamon, the rice, the cream, the raisins. Perfect!Honestly, it’s a cute place. The concept of the place is great! The packing is great. Amazing portions!! Amazing service as well! Definitely a must try.

I saw an episode in Food Network about this place over ten years ago! I told myself whenever I go to NYC Im going to try and go here. Im so glad I made it. Everything about this place was 5 stars. From the ambiance and decor to the start and obviously the rice pudding! I wish I could try all the flavors! I recommend to anyone who loves rice pudding, or desserts in general. Youll love it!

Very cool place! I loved all the posters and decor, there is lots of sarcastic jokes hanging around and it all made the place super fun.There is lots of rice pudding flavours to choose from, for me personally it was way too sweet what we had but my friends loved it. The portions were huge, so it’s better to be shared. There is some seating available, clean washrooms, but the biggest impact for me was the decor!Great place to visit for sweets lovers.

My oh my. Who-da-thunk rice pudding could be so yummy. They serve up generous servings of various flavors. We dried the cheese cake a must w the cherry topping, vanilla, pero, chocolate chip, eggnog, rum and raisin, and man made marscapone. We pretty much tried everything they had. We will be back. It was also very clean inside.

Dear god delicious!!!Just writing this review my mouth waters again. Its ultra delicious!I tried the french toast and cheesecake flavors and gave my life an extra of happiness.The messages at the store are funny and takes off all the guilt you may have for having this kind of dessert (if you have any). Either way, you will forget about it when you try it.The cups where they give you the rice pudding it can totally be reusable, so thats another check there.Cant wait to try all the flavors!!!Im taking all my guests to this place for sure

Incredibly delicious rice pudding delivered in an awesome package, surrounded by inspirational pudding-isms.Would recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth but not as sugary as most ice cream. Plenty of variety in flavors and toppings. Rice pudding is filling, so its a great help that they serve them in strong Tupperware that are microwave and dishwasher safe.Best rice pudding in New York, baby!

Yes I humanly expect some airs of grandiosity in this Spring st area, and being treated like a I dont cut it to b around the elite not even for a sweet treat, but the young man who prepped my rice pudding choices was helpful, much more than any of the young women who have interacted with me in the past 4 x Ive visited. Idk if a good review for him is more complimentary or damaging since in the high & mighty social playground, being helpful is viewed as a weakness and inferiority. I just was not raised that way and now with decades of life under my belt, smug arrogance or delusions of grandeur just dont fit my size. Fantastico rice pudding. Wow was it enjoyed.

I was so skeptical when my friend first suggested we go get rice pudding but I’m truly glad I trusted her because I’m now obsessed. I’ve come so many times and enjoy it more each time.My three favorite flavors are oreogasm, caramel, and coconut. Mixing two together of the three is also an incredible combination. I find it to be rich enough that I can’t eat the single size all at once and take it home with me. It’s a little pricey but since I always get two or three snacks out of it, it’s more justified.The inside is so cute and you have a million funny things to look at.

If you like Rice Pudding and you love different flavors and/or versions of it, this is the place to go find it.. i forgot how many different flavors they have,, some are seasonal. Its definitely over a dozen. More like close to 20 different flavors all really good too but to each their own on our palates of how we judge a taste, but truly you will love it.. before covid they used to let you try it out first before you buy.. hopefully in the future that can make its way back.. but still.. this is a good place to get your rice pudding. They also have dry fruits as additives.. Enjoyyyyy

Awwwwwwww some pave of you like rice pudding!! All sorts of crazy flavors like; Oreo sex, Raspberry delight, Cherry marscapone, Traditional vanilla n more. The decor is simple with lots of interesting posters all around the store!!I can be very busy from time to time and seating is limited, but there is a nice n clean restroom.Staff has always been very friendly, polite and professional. Single serving go for $9 dollars and change. I recommend the OMNI TRAY. It comes with 3 servings of your choice, for around $15 dollars. Super nice place, friendly staff and a very nice decor.Not many places to sit and eat, which was a shame.Many options of rice pudding with many delicious combinations.We tried the almond favoured rice pudding with roasted nuts topping and it was delicious!The container in which it was served was made out of plastic and youre supposed to keep it and re-use it, which we did. Its really nice! I recommend this place for dessert!

So sad we do not have this in South Florida. I mean who would not love 10 -12 flavors of rice pudding WITH toppings. It was a food dream come true when we stumbled on this place walking around NYC and trying to get away from the crowds. I had seen Rice to Riches on a tv show and always wanted to go. It did not disappoint. I got two flavors in a medium dish- the panna cotta and pumpkin spice flavors with mini pound cake pieces on top. Heaven- they give you a lot, enough for two people! I could not finish it and was sad I could not bring it home, but it definitely needs refrigeration and we did not have one. The pudding is creamy, and the pumpkin spice flavor was spicy and not too sweet, tasted like autumn, a season we get none of in South Florida. The panna cotta flavor was rich and smooth and tasted like vanilla but not as cloying. The seaplane bowl they put the rice pudding in kept the left overs cool for a long while. The bowl and spoon are very modern and streamlined and reusable by the way, as is the decor in the restaurant. I kept the bowl and spoon as a reminder of what I can’t have.. at least not all the time. :) The service was quick and friendly, and they gave me a coupon for next time when I come back. Other flavors on offer- Oreo-gasm, Coconut coma, Be my banana coconut. Coast to coast Cheesecake, French toast, Five star caramel and Butterscotch boulevard. Makes it very hard to choose! They also ship on goldbelly.com so that will have to suffice for me. Ps. They have a great clean bathroom as well!

There is only one dessert, which is something like a rice pudding, but in a range of flavors.The flavors literally drives anyone with a sweet tooth crazy! You can ask for a sample of how many ever flavors until you decide which one you want to buy, trust me the people are very patient when you ask them for samples.They also have funny phrases all around the shop, and also magnets with the same phrases for sale.

Rice to riches is a must try place in the city, everything is simply perfect! My experience here is a 10/10. The best flavor hands down is the OREOOOO!!! I had the raspberry which was also amazing and then had the cherry flavor as well as butter scotch. I would recommend everyone to go here !!!

Never thought Id find an entire store devoted to selling rice pudding!! What a find! They sell rice pudding in a myriad of delicious flavours. You can eat in or take away and the pudding comes in cute little Tupperware containers that you can reuse (although I am yet to find a use for mine after insisting on keeping them!!) The portions are decent sized and very filling and hey have a have a variety of sizes on offer.Also, love the humorous decor!Only improvement I would suggest is to perhaps add some dairy free options or maybe even vegan offers to attract a wider customer base.

What a fabulous place!! As the only place I have been to that specializes in rice pudding, I was beyond impressed. Rice to Riches wonderful treats in a bright, quaint venue with space age decor. I was delighted to find a HUGE variety of flavors, each one I tried being delicious. Go here and you wont regret it, I promise you!! I highly reccomend.

Love Rice pudding?This place is for you. I haven’t seen a place like this before. I got the Rum and Raising and I loved. The hazelnut is great too. They served the rice pudding on nice plates and you can keep it. The price is pretty good and the place is cool and clean. I’ll be back.

I can’t make up my mind so I take all flavors to home so I shared with my family. The original version is our favorite it’s not too sweet, it’s perfect for your sweet tooth. Walked in because we saw it in an episode of Girls but we got the ‘I Gotta the Panna Cotta’ and were blown away!

The flavor is very good, but you can fell the rice. If you like rice pudding you would love that ( I dont like rice pudding ) but I give 4 stars because its super expensive 8.5$ for a person.

While youre waiting for or eating your pudding, youre also treated to plenty of amusing snark all over the walls in this brightly and boldly decorated store. Well worth a visit if youve got a sweet tooth. The sizes are rather large, so I would recommend splitting a solo (1 flavor) or epic size (1-2 flavors) between two people if you can.

Rich, decadent dessert. Never thought Id say that about rice pudding! Theres so many different flavors of rice pudding. Every single one is bursting in rich, sweet, creamy flavor. I sampled a couple before settling on the cheesecake flavor one. Some others I enjoyed were the cookies and cream, butter pecan, and the almond one!!The small starts at $8.50 and you cant mix flavors unfortunately (but you can with larger sizes). It comes in this cute plastic bowl and eccentric fun spoon to eat with.The decor in this place is also very funny. The quotes are hilarious. Theres about 3 small tables in the back for you to eat in and standing tables in the front. Definitely a fun dessert option in the area!!

The rice pudding is good. Even if you dont think the rice pudding is your cats meow; just the design of the place is worth seeing. Everything from the flatware to the lamps to the funny slogans to the tables: every single thing in there is designed perfectly.

Always a delight visiting Rice to Riches, their rice pudding is so good. Worth a visit to Chinatown and Little Italy here in New York. Their witty signages should be enough reason for you to go. They dont sugarcoat that what theyre serving is not for the dieting individual.We always end up eating the same flavors: Sex Drugs and Rocky Road and Chocolate Chip Flirt. If youre curious, you can always taste it before you decide on what you want.When youre there, pay the bathroom a visit and you wont regret it!

Rice to riches has been on my food list of places to go for a couple of years now. Its just flavored rice pudding, but if you love rice pudding like I do this is a great place to try.

If youre in the area is definitely worth dropping by for some very delicious rice pudding. I know how that sounds, but you wont regret it. Id even venture to say that its worth going out of your way for it like I do. Ill find any excuse to make my way down for some more of their amazing rice pudding.
