The cigars here are absolutely superb. In quality, taste, construction and PRICE. youd be a fool if you pass this up. I got 4 hand mades, and each was incredible, no tight draw in any of them.Plus there is plenty of seating, so you can smoke in peace. Im visiting from CA, and I can say this is a special place.

Once i walked into the store i greeted everyone and everyone just looked at me as if i had 5 heads. When i made my way to the humidor the door was opened which was a bad sign and as i started looking around and feeling the cigars a lot of them were rock solid and noticed the cigar was peeling on some of them. I took a chance on the best looking one i saw and kept it in my humidor for 4 days and the top half got soft but more than half way down there was a big knot. I cut it and tried smoking it hoping it would open up but i found myself taking 3 pulls in order to get a sorta decent amount of smoke. Not impressed would not recommend it

Went there a week ago-place is small with a bunch of guys who do not speak English. Guy at the counter did and he was helpful and friendly. Asked for a medium bodied smoke and bought 4 of their Corona sized sticks. Smoked one on the way home and it was a very good smoke, flavorful and def medium to full bodied. Only problem was it began to unravel rather quick. Still a very good cigar overall especially for the price. Note: I put the remaining 3 smokes in my humidor and few days later tried one-no unraveling and the smoke was even better than the first. Leads me to believe the inventory in the store needs to be taken care of better.

In love with their Connecticuts for only $4.50 a piece. I grab 2 every time I pop in. Excellent smokes. Not really a lounge to stay and hangout it, more of a grab and go kind of place.

I am no connoisseur, but Ive been smoking cigars for 30 years and can tell the difference between good and bad. Ive sadly watched all my other cigar shops in Manhattan disappear or move to the suburbs over the decades, and this place is a real treasure. Yes, the variety is limited, because they hand-roll their own, so its only the house brand. And I will concede that cigars that they have can at times be dry (but since you pick them yourself, you just dont pick those). But they usually have the freshest cigars you can get in the city. And Im sure you can get a better 10 dollar cigar, but if, like me, youd rather have two very good 4.50 cigars, then this is the place for you. As for the staff, Ive never tried to start a conversation, but Ive also never experienced any rudeness--and Im going to buy cigars, not make a new friend. Definitely worth trying out.

The customer service sucks. I walk in not a hello or a how are ya. Looking at there case no one ask any questions. The cigars are cheap Ill give them that but thats just how they taste. I personally think most would enjoy a cheap so called cigar from behind the counter of any gas station. Never go here.

Limited selection and mostly unknown brands. Prices were very reasonable, but you get what you pay for. I asked for a full body and got a medium at best for $8. The cigar died on my midway through. Skip this place and stick with known brands and shops in the Village.

Small shop full of regulars, many just visiting for the comaraderie or watch a match. Don’t go if you you need assistance or know nothing about cigars. Spanish helpful but not needed (I don’t speak it). They roll their own sticks in Queens from imported tobacco, filler mostly from the DR. Their robusto sticks with Sumatra wrappers are tasty, as are their Connecticut Wrappers. Can’t beat the price. I smoke lots of “premium” cigars but these are my daily go to for the dog walk or drive home. Worth the time to visit and get to know the folks. A cafe Cubano will likely be offered over broken English. Reminds me a little of shops in Calle Ocho In Miami. Enjoy.

After I asked for their best cigar which was $15 and they said I couldnt smoke it there even though they werent closing anytime soon the cigar unraveled not even halfway through the smoke but that didnt matter cuz it was dying out every five minutes anyway horrible cigar I learned my lesson with these places in nyc that make their own cigars stick to the big brands at respected retailers like nat Sherman and such
