My husband and I rented out the McNally Jackson Seaport wine and coffee bar to host our wedding guests for pre-ceremony drinks last weekend, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding experience. Owner Sarah was receptive from the beginning, bookstore manager Roger was incredibly accommodating and friendly, and cafe manager Byron and his team executed so seamlessly. I heard so many positive comments from all of our guests, and the amazing aesthetic and feel of the bookstore wine bar was so complimentary to our wedding as a whole. If youre looking for private events hosting, I cant recommend the wine bar enough. This certainly exceeded our expectations.

McNally Jackson Books is as much a place of rest and relaxation as a retail store. Yes, you will find the book you want there, but you will also be greeted by a friendly staff into an inviting place. The staff is attentive, but more importantly, they have a passion for books, and will share their infectious love with you. Do yourself a favor and check out this amazing store.

Definitely a hidden jam... I can get lost in it for days among the vast collection of books... dont get fooled by its small store front or ground floor, its another world upstairs... No matter what your interests are, you will always find something unique there. When was the last time we have that rewarding feeling of getting lost among books--find it back here.

Charming and interesting bookstore with eclectic selection. A place for thoughtful browsing. Unusual, thought provoking titles across many disciplines and interests. Seemed to focus mostly on non fiction and opinion items - - although thats an anecdotal observation which might not be completely accurate. Definitely worth a visit.

This location is in a beautiful neighborhood and I think they’ve done a great job of reflecting that on the interior, it’s light filled with historic touches. The staff were helpful when I needed assistance finding a book and there is a huge selection. My only drawback is that it’s a little difficult to navigate the literature section as it’s divided by country so unless you know the author’s origin, it can be a little difficult to find a book on your own.

Smoke and mirrors by Neil Gaiman - welcome to the world of Neil Gaiman, a world where the impossible is possible...14.01.2018292DIGNITIES:Original presentation of the material, interesting stories, unique atmosphereDISADVANTAGES:The abundance of obscene language spoils the impressionHello, my friends! Good luck to all!I admit that my acquaintance with the work of Neil Gaiman began not so long ago, although I heard a lot about him. Gaiman is called a wizard, and its hard not to agree. After American gods, I wanted to read other works of the author.Perhaps the book Smoke and mirrors I would recommend reading to all fans of the famous Englishman-postmodernist Neil Gaiman, primarily because of the indescribable and unique atmosphere.💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋

Really horrible experience in here today thanks to the awful barista. He told me there wasn’t any hot chocolate left but served another girl straight after me a hot chocolate. Went on to uncomfortably tell me that she was there first when clearly she wasn’t. So unprofessional and clearly only serving a certain type of clientele. I live close by and will never return this to establishment after this horrible service.
