First of all if you don’t love biking, you wouldn’t get the value of having a Trek bike. But if you do love biking and one of the most beautiful and well built bikes in the world, you will love this shop in Chelsea! The guys are great! You feel like the attention is about your needs and wants! And they know how to fix your bike right but also getter bike you need! I tried a couple of them ! Before I bought mine. If you are just in need of a tune up, or if you are in need of a new bike , any terrain, I suggest you come to the one and only in Manhattan!!! Trek Biking Chelsea !

I used to go to Dannys but Trek bought them. Always like supporting local but Trek had the same feel of a local bike shop with a bigger selection. Bought a new bike this past Saturday at the Chelsea store. Malik the sales rep was fantastic helping me find the right selection answering all my questions and getting me set up with the lights, security, etc. So happy with my new bike!

IMPECCABLE PHONE SERVICE with Sam the Service Manager. I’m a beginner and had a few questions about the Domane AL 3 bike and inventory over all. Sam went above and beyond to adequately and enthusiastically answer all my questions and gave me tips and advice on information I was not aware. If there in-person is anything like this awesome phone service I just experienced, I’ll definitely have the Chelsea NYC location as my GO TO PLACE for all things TREK & cycling. I highly recommend. I have now been a client for over a year and I can rely systematic issues, poor follow up and little customer service. I have had issues with 1) miss information from the staff (e.i. Verve 3 has only 3 discs up front and not 2 despite the sales agent assurance) 2) total lack of update on delivery timeline. I ordered and paid in full a bike in September 2020 to be delivered latest end of November 2020. By end of November, I called and they say oh, sir your bike may or may not arrive early next year. That without heads-up or reaching out. 3) It took some instance to get it reimbursed 4) when I asked, please keep me posted when if you get a delivery date. I was told it was not possible in their system. But they did contact me a few month later and I purchased the bike. 5) not all the additional accessories were available. I had to follow up once to get the additional once and purchase the rest on Amazon. 6) the bike came without a bell which is compulsory by law in NY. The Shimano gear control is large is attached in such a way that a bell can not be attached in a place which can be reached without partially lifting the end from the handle. I dropped by the store to get a solution and I got a simple: “oh we don’t know” I found a partial solution on my own. 7) they provide air for the bike through a manual pump. Most other bike stores provide a pipe connected to a compressor. 8) the new manager end of 2020 blamed the previous manager for the poor running of the shop, the delay and the lack of follow up. 9) I went to the store to get handlebar horn extension 2 weeks ago. I offered to pay for them. I was told no need and it would be a matter of days before it the adapter arrive from another shop. 2 weeks passes and I received a phone call asking me if I still wanted the items, to inform me that my bike model needed an adapter and it needed to be order, asking me to come to the shop and also make a payment BEFORE they would order it from the other store. 10) All the verve 3 2021 had issues with the original paddles. The paddles got replaced before I got the bike. But the paddle swap was made with cheap paddles!!! So bad for bike which is supposed to come with upgraded components. If you go there, expect Poor communication, poor management, lack of professionalism and follow up!

The most friendly staff. Bring my bike here for tune-ups. They always call with a diagnosis and an estimate. Fully explain needed repairs and all seem reasonable and expected. Being in NYC, they value the time you don’t have your bike and try their best for a quick turn around.

Marcus was very helpful along with the rest of the staff and very knowledgeable. I got my flat tire fixed so quick, Its why I keep coming back!.

John and Beth were fantastic! they got me fully set up on my new bike. They recommended great accessories to make me and my bike both safe and secure. I cant wait for my next day off to take it for a spin!

So what I really would like to tell you about my experience at the Trek store is that I was shown total disregard, negative and hostile treatment. They should have video so they can watch it for verification. I arrived at the store check my watch saw that it wasn’t 5pm yet. (5pm Closing time). When I open the store door I saw that there was a barrier belt at the entrance of the store not allowing me passage inside. When I scanned the inside of the store I saw there was a family of 3 picking a child’s bike. After a short time of not being attended to at the door I asked if anybody was inside going to be able help me, and the Family Responded that the employees were all in the front of the store. I backed out of the store to wait and that is when I saw the sign on the door stating four person max in the store no one from the store had to that point either approach me or explain this issue. After waiting a approximate 5 to 10 minutes and seeing multiple customers approach the door and walk away because they couldn’t enter I finally stepped back inside to ask what was happening. When I open the door and was calling for attention no one paid attention so I had to lower my mask so they could hear me and finally somebody came to the door. A tall employee approached me at the door with angry look on his face and a hostile demeanor proceeded to explain the 4 maximum persons in the store and told me that if I couldn’t wait and I didn’t like it that I could leave. Okay, after recovering from being totally surprised by that behavior another employee of the store came out and and also explain the four person max policy and finally inquired exactly what was I looking for after I explained what I needed he proceeded to tell me that he had absolutely nothing of what I needed and that because I had lowered my mask I had endanger the lives of all the people in his store and that if I didn’t like the policy that I could leave. So with that story I leave you with this because of a family of three and a child’s bike I was ignored put aside dismissed and made to feel totally uncomfortable. I have a total of five bikes four Treks(2 Carbonfiber frame and one Fuji triathlon bike. I will NEVER EVER return to the store and spend a single penny in that establishment I will also encourage any friends of mine who would think of patronizing their store, NOT TO!!

Just purchased a Trek Roscoe 8. Steve was a cool dude, helped me out big time. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The other folks working there were also helpful and all genuinely nice. The shop has it all, it’s modern and clean as well.

Malik was very helpful in helping me find the right bike helmet, was very patient with me as we goes through each one at time until I get the perfect fit. I was even able to pay part in cash and the rest on my card. store All their ssociates are very friendly & helpful. I highly recommend here. These guys makes shopping and finding the right accessories a whole lot easier. Thanks to Malik I walked out feeling a whole lot better than when I arrive.

The products are of great quality but the most important thing is how TREK backs its products with its return policy. It gives great peace of mind to the consumer and one is more willing to try a product that a company stands behind so strongly and confidently. In the TREK store in NYC, I was taken care of by a Sales Manager by the name of Steven. He was great explaining everything to me and educating me on all the questions I had regarding TREK equipment, seats and anything bike related. Would return just for the great products, experience and for great customer service.

Called around most bike shops in NYC for help with my e-bike. Spoke to a guy named Steven who told me he was able to help me with the breaks on my bike. I explained to him I needed oil or something, but the breaks werent working in the rear. He said no problem, bring in on Sunday and well have our mechanic fix it on Monday. I did exactly that, only to be told they cant help me when I arrived there with my bike. A waste of time and I stopped calling other shops after speaking to Steven. BTW the floor manager or whatever his title is claimed we mustve misunderstood each other.

I stopped by 30 minutes before closing to inquire about a tune-up on a used Trek bike I had just purchased (via craigslist). Although I was too late to make an appointment, the saleswoman took the time to talk to me, bring out some helmet options, and give my bike a quick look-over. I ended up leaving with a helmet, and was able to fill up my tires with their pump that they leave outside.

I had bad experience, they didnt want to take my bike for check everything because they don’t have time to do it today - after I told him ok just adjust for me please rim brake ( because I want to move to another location Trek ( maybe they can help me ) but he didnt want to help me just told me sorry I can’t help (and in general there is no triathlon bike specialist in this Location

Very good quality products - I bought Bontrager cycling cleats (white, no laces, very sleek ;)) and theyre fantastic! They did a great job replacing what needed to be done on my 4 year old Trek. I was surprised it took them all day b/c it did not look busy when I was there, but, they did a great job. My trek rides like a dream. I will go back.

Super helpful without being pushy. Great adjustment to take into account a priori customer knowledge and experience. Clear, dependable, creative salespeople. It was made very clear that our experiences and lives mattered beyond the particular moment in the shop.

Went to upgrade a Trek city commuter bike to a faster bike now that my weekly mileage has increased. Liked the trade-in option for my old bike. I had a budget in mind, as well as a particular model with upright handle bars. Was impressed that I could try out a few bike options before buying (shop is close to West Side HW bike path). I appreciated the advice, patience, and knowledge of the sales staff, especially Sebastián who helped me out. On Sebastians advice, I tried out a bike with dropped handlebars, and the bike felt just right for me and my cycling goals. Would have not done it on my own, or if I had gone to a less customer service oriented shop. Happy that everything came in at budget, and very satisfied with the bike a few days and 70 miles later.

These guys are awesome. I was referred here by my roommate who is a seasoned rider - I couldnt steer anymore because of its ability to fold up and I walked it into Trek and the guys fixed in in less than five minutes!! Along with a tune up and safety check. So awesome! I have had some dissappointing and expensive experiences in the past with other stores - but this place is great. Will always come Downtown to them when i need expert assistance!
