The best auto shop on the east side

Had previously went to a shop in yonkers for an emergency repair. Was charged 4x what this shop did for the same repair. I was cautious going to a new shop, but the experience warded any future doubts. This is my new go to. 10/5 stars.Side note however, if its not a quick job, be prepared to leave it overnight as after 12 they are EXTREMELY BUSY.

I brought my 2012 Honda for its 1st overall tune up... At first I didnt know where to go being cautious of being scam.. However, after reading their good reviews..and shop was close to me, I gave it a try... IM SO GLAD I did Domingo one of the Mechanic was so nice..he explained at first what I was seeking, total Tune up.... He just looked at the car and gave me a lesson on what he actually saw was wrong... He suggested I leave it so he can provide a more detailed summary of what was needed to be done... At no cost! He then sent me a DETAILED breakdown of each item to be done and the price.... He again explained each item and told me to decide by my budget what I can get done... He also again explained what should be priority with no pressure on me.. He gained my trust immediately, he listened and was understanding.. Most Importantly he was GOOD! Job WELL DONE & QUICK..In addition to that all, he did did some stuff w/o charging... They prices are REASONABLE... Highly recommend them

This place is terrific.I tried Cibao because the Jeep dealership that usually changes my oil gave me some repair recommendations that didnt seem right.So I dropped in at Cibao near closing time, without an appointment. Domingo squeezed me in quickly.Sure enough, the Jeep dealership had misdiagnosed an exhaust issue, and overstated some steering/suspension problems.48 hours later, Domingo had addressed both issues for less money, and in half the time the Jeep dealership had said the repairs would take.He also made clear recommendations for when to use OEM replacement parts, and when something less expensive would work.Other reviews point out how honest Cibao is. This is true. The Jeep dealership accidentally showed me the Retail, Sale and Trade prices for specific parts, and based on that, I can confirm that Cibaos pricing is accurate and fair. Also, my wife accidentally left her wallet in the back seat. When I came back to pick up our Jeep a day later, it was still there.So, please ignore the handful of lukewarm reviews -- some reviewers are taking stars off for parking or the waiting area. Thats ridiculous.One tip: Cibaos bank does charge a 4% credit card fee, which can add up on big repairs. If your bank offers Zelle, you can use that, or a debit card, or cash to avoid these third-party fees.

These guys are absolutely true to their word. I took my GL 450 for a fender bender - the running board was crushed while I was turning into a gas station - late in the evening. Domingo immediately called up Mercedes to see if they had the part and on confirming it said he would have it fixed the next day by early afternoon. I left the car and got a call at 11am saying it was done!

Cibao Auto repair was recommended by my mother in law . She told me that these guys were honest and very fair priced . She brought her car to a shop (block away ) to get a quote on a bumper repair. She said they wanted to charge her $450 to repair her bumper (slight dent) plus additional 200 to paint . She realized that it seemed expensive so she decided to bring her car to Cibao to compare price- they did the work for $65 - yes $65 . Having heard this I brought my car to them for a diagnostic on electrical issues . They kept my car for 2 days as this process takes time and they wants to do a thorough scan . It was discovered that it may be an intermitten issue and was told if theProblem occurred Again to bring the car back . I was very happy and pleased with what they did - when I asked the manager for the bill , he looked at me and smiled and said no charge I was shocked that a mechanic did charge for anything having kept my car for 2 days with a though diagnostic! This was the first ever . These guys are my mechanics for life .I will recommend anyone and everyone to them. Thank you !!!!

The best place to take your car to get repaired when it comes down to finding problems that are hard to determine. I went to several other places and was told to many things and i did them but still had the same problem but when i came to cibao auto repair they took a good look and there mechanic were very honest and respectful and found the problem that other places couldnt find.i would recommend this repair shop to anyone else.

I was having electrical and transmission issues with my truck. I took it to an electrician and he couldnt locate the problem. so he said take it to the dealer to see if they get lucky n figure the issue. I took it to the dealer and they were charging me $5680 to repair my truck. they said I need to purchase a new transmission, body harness together with the body module . I couldnt afford that so I thought about selling the truck. I am part of a auto club in new York and I spoke to the guys about my issue and one of them works in the auto parts industry. so after hearing about my issue he recommended to a shop in manhattan cibao auto repair told me these guys hands down are the best. so I left my truck in their hands and I got a call the next morning and it was repaired. they were very honest with me and fixed all my issues for less then a quarter of what the dealer was charging and i didnt have to buy a transmission, body harness or body module. very professional,honest and great friendly customer service.
