We first found Doyle and Doyle when shopping for engagement rings. They had a great selection at a range of prices. Ive been following the store ever since and often find great vintage pieces. I also really like the house line. Great shopping experience, whether in person or on-line, for special pieces that dont necessarily require a special occasion.

I’ve ordered two anniversary presents for the wife from this jeweler, once in person pre-pandemic and once entirely online. In person the sales associate was very friendly and helpful in pinning down the right piece of jewelry. For the second time online, the ordering process was flawless and I received my piece well ahead of the original 6 week estimate. Overall we love the uniqueness of the designs and the excellent craftsmanship put into each piece. I’ll be ordering here again in the future.

Doyle and Doyle has been my favorite vintage jewelry spot in the city for almost 20 years. The pieces are unique and exquisite. They carry gorgeous things from all from my favorite eras: Art Deco, Edwardian, Victorian, and so much more. The staff are always helpful and the owners have the best eye for special pieces. I also own some of the Doyles own designs including versatile earrings that I wear constantly.

What can I say about Doyle & Doyle? They’ve been helping my family mark milestones for more than a decade. I have been a fan since their days on Clinton Street, where my husband bought our engagement ring back in 2004! They have the most beautiful jewlery (at every price point), but perhaps more significantly to me, shopping with them has always been a wonderful experience. I am a big fan of Doyle & Doyle. I came across when doing a search for engagement rings. I stopped by a store near Chelsea/Meatpacking District to gauge. My experience was fantastic. I did end up purchasing a ring. Kathryn Oxtoby was the woman who assisted me. She was absolutely excellent. Her expertise floored me. I then came back a couple of months later to purchase my own wedding band. I recently ordered a necklace and was equally as impressed with the online service. I received an email from a woman named Juliet to thank me for my purchase. She asked if I needed it by a specific date (She was certainly not saying she could rush it out. Especially with Coronavirus), she was just checking to see. She also did a very nice follow up to see if I received it if I liked it.

I got my engagement ring here and it is gorgeous, I get so many compliments on how unique and me it is (its an art deco style). It was actually far less expensive than average - they have a huge price range in stock, from $900 rings with mostly hand carved details and small stones up to the $13,000 whopper diamonds. The service was pitch perfect - not pushy at all, extremely well informed and patient.The bad review below is just insane - of course they are not going to let you just buy the setting when they only stock estate jewelry - you dont disassemble a one of a kind piece like that. They are a small store and stock maybe 50-100 engagement rings at a whack- I can only imagine what kind of customer comes in SIX times and then complains about the limited selection.

I dont know why there are so many fake negative reviews for this place. Its small and quiet. The staff was helpful, not pushy at all. There is a limited selection, as they only stock estate and vintage pieces. It is a niche market so the prices may seem high for the item, but it wasnt mass produced, it was hand picked.

I’ve gone to Doyle & Doyle several times to have them repair some of my pieces and they’ve not only been super friendly, but very well priced and timely with my repairs!

Bought a beautiful lapis lazuli engagement ring new from Doyle and Doyle 2 years ago. I just noticed that the stone has broken in half. When I called to ask about getting it replaced, they said that they’d be happy to replace it because they stand by their work, but that they’d charge us for the new stone. ??? If you stand by your work, why would you charge us for the new stone? We trusted D&D when they affirmed that the ring would work as an engagement ring—as in, worn everyday. And they said nothing about fragility issues when we selected the piece of lapis. Seems like another place that has the customer service just right, up until they’ve made the sale. Very disappointed, we can’t in good faith recommend this place to friends if their products break after 2 years and the customer has to foot the bill.
