Probably the worst customer service Ive had in my entire life. Dont deal with a employee called Mike. Clearly Mike hates his life and he wants you to hates yours to. I understand his wife is cheating on him but he dont have to bring it to work and blame the customers.. GUYS STAY AWAY FROM MIKE... SORRY STAY AWAY FROM THAT JUNKYARD IN GENERAL

Scam alert!! Do not do business with this company. I received a call from them after purchasing a rim for my car, informing me that my part was ready for pick up. I drove from my place of employment (roughly 45 minutes) only to get there to be told, that, it was on the invoice,but it wasnt on the truck. In 2021, how you dont have a basic system for insuring the items that you received match the items you ordered is beyond me. But, because I need the part , left work early to be there before closing,and I had already driven 45 minutes, I decided to giblets then another chanceI was guaranteed that it would be in the following day. Welp. Here I am 2 weeks later with no part, no refund,and no response to my phone calls. I will be reporting to the BBB and filing a fraud claim dont waste your time or your energy.

I went to Chase which is owned by Chuck and Eddie’s I believe. This is my favorite scrap yard. Personal no BS service. Been going here for years.

How we spent almost a thousand dollars for 3 parts for a 2002 GMC Denali and wait a month, never getting the parts? Every week I check for my parts and they say they dont have it yet. Mind you I payed in full and cash, but they still charging me a stocking fee. Now they want to take 30% out of my order, which is about $160. I just dont want the run around again. I want my full refund or Im about to go to better business bureau! Never, ever, again am I going to chuck and Eddies! All they are doing is robbing their costumers.

Least professional operation I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. I bought an axle that was listed online. After paying for it and receiving a receipt (A photo of the computer screen that was texted to me) and being told that it would ship the the sales person called me back to say they needed more money because he priced the shipping wrong.After eating that additional cost I still haven’t received my part. I payed for my axle on May 26th. It is now June 21st. I haven’t Received an invoice, a tracking number, a confirmation email, or anything like that. I’m beginning to think I was conned and that I’ll never receive any parts from them. We will see.Definitely don’t recommend going to these guys for anything, they don’t take accountability for their mistakes. They act like a big legitimate company but operate like some guy on craigslist.

Tried buying a rim was told it would definitely be in today now there saying it’ll take 2 more days So unprofessional and rude plus the guy was rushing me to buy it, bad choice don’t ever go here they scam you and lie to you I’m sure there’s other reviews the same as mine

Bad customer service. Ordered a part was suppose to receive call in 2 days never got it. I called back and was told part was not there had to order it went to pick it up and was not it.

Ordered a tire and rim on a Monday, was GUARANTEED to be here by Wednesday the latest. Wednesday came and left. Called and was on the phone for a half hour just to find my order. It’s Friday and they said it’ll be here Monday, a week after they ordered it and blamed it on the person who sent it, said it was “the wrong rim”. Wouldn’t recommend

Although they work via text messaging vs. phone, if you can deal with that, I got the part I needed along with good communication; 5 stars it is, then

This isnt a bad place to get used parts if you have knowledge in mechanics. They definitely have a large variety of vehicles to get parts from, even though the organization of them could be mapped out better. Not knowing if a certain year part is compatible with your car is a big deal. Especially when you dont know the year of the vehicle that youre taking the part off of.They would benefit more utilizing their online parts supply, but for some reason they dont. Ive attempt to use it multiple times, for multiple parts, on multiple makes/models to no avail. It could be profitable for both buyer and seller, but instead its surfing through the Web as an empty vessel all alone.Hopefully in the future it will finally become more handy for those without the time or knowledge.

PLEASE READ FIRST AND LAST TIME DOING BUSINESS. My husband & I placed an order over the phone while he inquired about availability part was paid in full. Long story short after multiple work days about a week of being promised the parts not to mention being promised it’d be ready the next business day to begin with (Oh and don’t place any orders over the phone they won’t have any information on your order) They took it upon them selfs to refund us our money without any notice and not pull the part! Reason being it would take 4-5 hours to pull when it took my husband about 20 MINUTES! Some one some where was either to lazy or to un-knowledgeable to attain the part for us. NEVER AGAIN

THE place to find used auto parts. They got me a new wiper transmission before the rain came the next day. Works like a charm, saved me a ton of money on a throttle body assembly too. They even beat ebay prices. I highly recommend checking here first, and watching some you tube videos, to try your own repairs before listening to any of those chain shops trying to charge you hundreds or thousands. This place is easy to get to also, like 100 feet off the exit ramp in New Haven.

They are massively incompetent. Ordered a part. Waited 10 days. Received completely wrong part. Then said they have right part in Sommers and to come pay so i can go pick it up. Drive all the way to new haven to pay then they say its on a truck to southington, so i drive all the way to southington, then they tell me they might have it by afternoon. Wasted my entire day, as well as the 10 days they wasted getting wrong part, and they want double what they quoted me in price. Should have bought the part on partsgeek new for a bit more money. Would have saved me time, money, gas, and aggravation. TLDR: don’t waste your time here.

Junk Car pickup - Never called or showed up. I called them 8 times all day long to see what the deal was and got transferred to a cell phone voicemail. Then today I called and they claimed they called me all day. Liars! They never called because I get a email and txt message if I miss a call even if my phone is turned off. Not to mention I was the one calling them all day with no answer. Just say they didnt get to it and they will have to reschedule and people will understand. Dont try and lie about it because you are caught out, and look stupid.UPDATE: they gave me another pickup date, I got a call at the end of the day saying their truck broke down and they will pick up tomorrow. Well Its tomorrow and they are closing, I did not get a call and they have not answered my calls. This is the 3rd day I had to make arrangements at work. I lost more money from work then they were even offering me. I am done with this place. I am going to donate to a charity I have another place willing to pick up in less then an hour.

Cleanest scrapyard around fair prices I dont go anywhere else

Dont have them tow your car, no matter how much youre offered. Unless you dont have a work schedule, it will either take an entire day or they wont show up at all. Lost half of a shift waiting for them before I gave up. My advice to you is to give specific times so none of it gets wasted. People dont have all day to sit around until you come whenever you feel like.

Untrustworthy and shady, the manager admitted that his company messed up but would not refund my money and can only do store credit and had the testicular fortitude to say i dont think any company would handle it any other way really?...when a company messes up they make the customer pay for it? This is news to me, even as a last resort its not worth the aggravation. I left a message for the owner last month still nothing yet but i cant say i didnt see that coming

It took me a month to finally get an appointment with this place (they need 4-5 days after your call to set an appointment, and my schedule just didnt work well), and my 1 star rating isnt because of this. They are either busy or understaffed, which i could care less about. Ive done buisiness with them before twice, but I never will again after waiting 8 hours of my day for a truck to show, and nothing came.No call, no nothing. If thats how they want to run their business now then I will no longer continue using them.

Ordered my parts from the Chuck and Eddies website and my parts were ready for pick up next day.

Had the parts I needed.

Ordered and payed for a part on a Tuesday, bring told it would be available for pickup on Friday. It was not there until the next Tuesday. Was in and out with the part within minutes, though, once it was finally there.

I went in for a starter. The starter worked, but it was rusty outside. I paid 54 dollars there versus a remanufactured one for 180 elsewhere. If you want to save money, go to Chuck and Eddies.
