They fixed my radio that wasnt working and put in four new speakers. Also installed a remote start for me, that works great.

You need to tell this guy EXACTLY what you want,and get a price up front,and then remind him exactly what you want and then remind him again,,,they have a tendency to tell you one thing to get you in the door then it’s 100 reasons why they used the cheap Amazon stuff and charged you 3 times as much,looks like they do they’re hiring from within the local methadone clinic,last time my car was there I got it back and my kid noticed there was what looks like cat hair everywhere,we don’t have a cat???

So, i live across the street from this place. Every single day, of every week, there is somebody that is bringing their car back to this place to have them look at work theyve done that is either bad or not working.I hear people yelling almost every single day about the work that theyve done. I dont know about you but I probably wouldnt bring my car here

Installed something in my car that I was never given a make or mode number. Trusting that they would put a quality product in my car. They put lowest possible quality part instead. Immediately did my reasearch upon installation and within a hr told them I was not happy with this product. He told me to find a product I want and he would try to get it. No prob. Next day call him and tell him what I wanted. Gave me the run around playing phone tag for 3 weeks and then finally has the nerve to tell me that the distributor won’t refund him for the part and because he’s a small business there’s nothing he can do. So guess I’m screwed. But this review will forever be here as a warning to others. BEWARE

Had a appointment to put in my dash kit now they can’t do it for months what type of business now I paid for a dash kit I can’t put in thanks would never recommend any one there they was good not no more and mind you I had to wait 3 weeks for my dash kit smh🤬🤬🤬

Cartoons is the best place to go for car stereos and remote starters

Before having my backup camera installed I visited multiple shops, spoke with staff and got different quotes. Car tunes seemed to have the best staff and best price. They quoted me $625 for brand new radio with backup camera everything included. I decided to make an appointment and have everything installed. When I got there the price suddenly jumped up to $664, not a big deal, I understand mistakes happen. Then when I picked my car up the the steering wheel controls were not working. I went back inside and they said that was and extra $75. When I had gone to get my original $625 quote they had explained to me steering wheel controls were included and even showed me the box. They said they would install the steering wheel controls for $60 for the confusion which still made my total $724. That is $100 more than I was originally quoted. I was upset but I really wanted the steering wheel controls so I decided to make another appointment. When I went in for that appointment they told me they had accidentally used the last steering wheel controls on another vehicle and I would have to come back another time. Needless to say I will not be going back. I would not recommend Car Tunes to anybody, they have poor communication with customers and poor communication among staff. It would have been cheaper and a lot less of a headache to go to any of the other shops I had originally visited.

Had a remote control starter put in for my sons car, kept reading key error.... Went back a few times and every time they said I was all set it acted up again...Then they said it was his key to his car and wanted me to disconnect it for a week and try again...Had them take it out all together.... I wouldn’t go there again...They don’t have a refund policy so I’m out 220 dollars....I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody... Better off paying a little more money from a dealership that has a refund policy...

This is the worst place you could ever goI bought aftermarket radio and I installed everything but I can’t connect the backup camera so I brought it to this shop to fix it for meSooo just they look at it and make me wait few hours and I called many time they never answered so i went thereshe told me its all set but this camera need a special wire and they charge me 30$ for these two words.....I don’t recommend this place at allBe careful guysThink before you go

Meant to leave a review awhile ago but I’m finally getting my door fixed now. They ruined the inside of my bug, literally all my door panels have fallen off because they snapped the plastic screwing them back in. Some cheap speakers now cost me $400 to fix the inside of my car.

Got a great deal on a new system, auto start, and back up camera, I wasnt pressured, everything went smoothly, would definitely do business with again!!!

Had a Compustar 6900-AS remote start with alarm installed. The system has conflicts with factory options such as Auto Unlock door handles. Now I have to manually unlock doors or the alarm goes off and it effects additional safety equipment in the car too, such as blind spot monitors.When I asked them to make the program adjustments that, according to the manufacturer, “only the installer can do to the system”, the Car Tunes guy says I’m not doing it again, the manager says you’ll get used to it.Don’t put this in a newer vehicle, it may be ok in an older vehicle without any technology in it.This stystem is a step backwards in technology and Car Tunes customer service is lacking.If this system is what you want go to Best Buy. It’s an easy installation, no wires to splice just a programmed module to plug in and an antenna to install. Best Buy treats customers well there.I should have read the reviews, done more research, and found a company that’s customer friendly.Trust your instincts. If you walk in their front door, you’ll see what I mean. Signs all over the place “No Refunds” “No Returns” “No Exchanges “They should add “No Good Service”.Years ago the owner Rob was a good guy to deal with. Today it’s nothing like it was, Rob’s not there and the good service left with him.Too bad. My best advice is STAY AWAY

They sell/install outdated versions of alarms/autostart that they have leftover in their shop. Do yourself a favor and go to Crow city motoring or bestbuy, they will sell/install devices that fully function.I went to car tunes to get a new alarm remote, they informed me my alarm system was old and recommend to install a new one. I caved and also got autostart. It did not function properly and had a lot of quirks (beeps loudly when open door, locks and unlocks door for no reason when someone gets out of car when car is running, etc). In order to alleviate some of the quirks, I then got a 2-way remote for the alarm/autostart. I still had to pay for the other 2 remotes and got to keep them, but they dont work and are useless. I wish I went to crow city, but they had a two week wait for an appointment, but I was impatient.

The worst place wasting time I had appointment for 9am I get there by 9 and took my car 10:05 and say another 1 hour wait if you really want to do remote start windows tent and other Machanic works go to Crown City Motoring only 10 minutes from there.

Owner is the rudest guy on the planet stay away worst customer service ever. He does not stand behind his work.
