I love shopping there until I get to the check our counter. Despite my initial excitement over rediscovering this store, due to the service I will not be shopping at the Charlotte pike location anymore. Over the course of three separate trips with three different employees checking out, it was consistently very poor service. It was a combination of didnt understand me, didnt listen, I had a return that she did not ring up with the order (Despite that I had let her know beforechecking out) and she asked me to go to the end of the line of 4 customers. All 4 had joined the line after me.

Big lots used to be a store where I can go in and handle all my shopping needs. Big lots is now downsizing their electronics. They used to carry tablets gaming software and more or no youll be lucky to find a charger for your car.

There good just gotta look around and lots of home decor.

Terrible management from the higher ups! Under 5 employees at 5 o’clock - one check out person who isn’t authorized to do returns - both managers out of the store - employee paged 5 times - I had to go find someone myself - then they refunded me the sale price and I lost money even with my receipt 🤨

Ok, so I found some large ceramic pots with a basket weave texture in ivory that were very chic and crazy cheap. I will be hitting this place up from time to time.

I spend a lot of money in this store and never once have I received any type of discount. I even called corporate to see what the problem was and was offered a 23 cent discount A SLAP IN THE FACE.I will not do business with Big Lots, ever again in life.

Although smaller than many other Big Lots, this store is well organized and very clean. The employees were helpful and seemed happy.

Selection is decent for the chain brand, but if you need help, its hard to find any employees walking about. When I finally found my things myself and went to check out, the cashier was on his phone and it took him a solid 15 seconds to acknowledge I was standing in front of him. I asked him for a large bag just to get silence back. Thats when I noticed the headphones in his ears. He checked me out and I asked him yet again, which he finally heard me, but without a word proceeded to get said bag. Not a single word back from him the whole time. Very disappointing customer service.

I stopped by for a set a sheets, and since I was short on time, I bought exactly what I went to the store to buy!Big Lots tend to have great home furnishings for a fraction of the price of other places....depending on what your looking for, so I knew that I would find something of quality, yet inexpensive.Its been awhile since Ive shopped here, so it was refreshing to see the new layout of the store! Very nice! I didnt have time to go to the the furniture area, but there was a nice 4 chair/table set near the front door that was quite nice.I would have rated this review a five, but the cashier didnt speak or acknowledge my presence before or while ringing up my purchase. He wasnt rude or anything, but a basic and simple hello is not hard to do.I try not to make a huge deal out of cashiers who lack basic customer service skills, but it is annoying as hell. I worked part time over 10 years at a big box store so I understand the environment. But at least PRETEND to want to be at work!

You know what you are getting into at a big lots store. This location is clean but I have found is always displaying cute furniture and fixtures that have no pricing. I am always having to look up the items on the website for pricing. Then there is the inventory... You either need an associate to walk around with you to answer all your price/inventory questions or just go somewhere else

Recently remodeled. Theyve upped their name brand selections while keeping some of the cheaper stuff as well. Looks cleaner and you can always find certain brands that you cant elsewhere.

I went to this Big Lots because they were out of the tea that I purchase at my local store. I was greeted by who I believe to a manager who gave me his name in case I needed help.The store was well organized and clean. They had plenty of stock on hand. I got my teas and other great values.

Staff was willing to replace missing parts of a home decor item that we wanted to purchase. Came away with a new product. Was a bit disappointed that many items were not how they should be though - missing screws or handles.

They dont sell good things at Big lots. But they sell things at reasonable prices. Nothing is pretentiously marketed. Seasonal junk and boxed foods...household goods and cheap furniture..cheap-o electronics and old DVDs. If the prices were any higher the 4 star rating would go to a 1 very quickly.

If you order online, choose in store pick-up because it says they have it in stock, Do NOT expect them to actually be able to fill the order.

The people working in the west Nashville location are helpful and kind. The store looks great.

Now what can I say about Big Lots that carry everything a. If you need furniture if you need bedding, need a bite to eat, they got it at low low prices. I do recommend Big Lots.

I picked up several food items throughout the store I was going to purchase, until I saw they were already expired.The cashier that was there definitely hated her job. We asked her how her day was and she looked at us with a death stare. She was rude and should find another job. I will say another employee that was there was super nice and showed us where exactly to find what we were looking for.

My first time in this store & there was a young man I believe his name was Billy who helped me find what I was looking for, he knew exactly where everything was & was very polite. Thats pretty rare nowadays, pretty refreshing.

Store is always clean, staff is always friendly. Checkout can take a minute sometimes is my only criticism.

I went here tonight after a long day with my two little kids. My husband is out of town often so I do things a lot on my own which is normal but rarely does anyone offer to help me when they see me struggling a little. A nice man (Fred I believe) went out of his way to take my stuff to my car way on the other side where at home is. This gesture literally made my week! I seriously couldnt of asked for better customer service!

Joe in the furniture department of Big Lots helped me tremendously in choosing exactly the right mattress set for me. He explained the differences in the mattresses and in all the different brands.Big Lots was only my first stop, so Joe sent me on my way with printed information so I could compare. (Serta makes different mattress names for each furniture store!)Needless to say, I bought at Big Lots. Lauren was in the furniture showroom the day I purchased the mattress set. She and my daughter loaded it into a van for me. Lauren went over and above her duties and I greatly appreciate it.I would really like to commend Big Lots on having employees as freindly and conscientious as Joe and Lauren. Thanks!!!
