After purchasing two computers from Computer Pros I would never buy another computer anywhere else. I would recommend spending the extra money and buying their service contract. Anytime I have a problem, I take my Mac in and they put it at the front of the line in repairs. More often than not, I get a call the same day that it is ready to be picked up. A little extra money is well worth the time (and expense) it saves later on. They have excellent repair people and the guys working in the front are also very knowledgeable and helpful. Sometimes it is just something I havent done. or did do that I shouldnt, and they show me my mistake. I walk back out with my computer! This is a great computer store.

I was looking to have a memory upgrade for 2 new computers I purchased since I couldnt get it done where I purchased them..... anyway. I had reached out to another store to do the upgrades, but after getting the run around from that store, I decided to contact Computer Pros because of some work they done for me years ago. I walked into their location with the 2 systems about an hour after they opened, and they upgraded the memory to my satisfaction while I waited. While talking to the sales tech, he also offered his insight on another system Im interested in having built. Above and beyond service.

I was trying to get a battery replacement for my macbook during the pandemic. I tried two other places, first. (Does not include the fact that the apple store was not open.) These people were very accommodating, friendly, helpful, and I felt the price was quite reasonable. I will go back if I need additional computer help!

Apple support was joke and always is! Apple didn’t want to assist with appt or Rae ally anything except a hard restart. I set up an online appt the next day and Chris came to our residence, completed a thorough evaluation of my issue and took my computer in for repair. Long story short I had to replace my MacBook Air and they got me set up and all data transferred quickly....and Chris even delivered my old and new computer without me ever having to leave the house. Only down for two days total....now that is what I call customer service and professionalism! Thank you Computer pros and thank you especially Chris!

UPDATE: After I picked up the computer it turns out because of their negligence and not securing the old drive in the casing, it destroyed the motherboard. So after nearly $800 in repairs I had to trash the entire system. Meanwhile not able to work during this time created even more havoc as a result of their incredibly poor service.They did refund the 3 months of procare but I never received the service the sold me, so they should have refunded the entire amount from start to finish and I will be pursuing this refund legally._______________________________________________________________________I bought a custom computer from here 5 years ago. In 09/2020, I started having issues. Called in for a remote repair session where they sold me on their procare program which was supposed to save me money on labor and push me to the front of the repair line. THEY NEVER INSTALLED IT DURING THE REMOTE SESSION, but they charged me monthly for 3 months after that.In early Jan of 2021, I took it in to the store for diagnostics. They told me I needed a new hard drive. It took EIGHT days to get my computer back. So if this is the front of the repair line, I can only imagine the back of the line.They told me they were going to clone my old hard drive to a new drive. Meanwhile, while it was in the shop for EIGHT days, they NEVER backed up my data. They told me it takes awhile. How long exactly does it take to backup a computer? If you have my computer for EIGHT days, and youre charging me for a backup service, WHY DIDNT YOU BACK IT UP WHEN YOU HAD IT FOR EIGHT DAYS?????Then I get it home and the OS crashed on the third use. Yes, the dreaded blue screen. I called again, and they said they would do what the could to see if the could restore or retreive my data. Which means, that they may not be able to and everything is probably lost.So, I took it to another shop only to find that, the inside of the CPU was filthy, covered in dust. The old drive was NOT even fastened to the tower and was floating and sliding and banging around on top of the new drive.When I first dropped the computer off, the manager, Dennis, tried to throw me out of the store because I was asking too many questions about why the failed to back up my data, when they had been charging me for it. Instead of trying to fix the problem, he tried to usher me out the door saying, I seemed upset.I have NEVER had a worse experience in any business, not just computer tech. The techs are short tempered, never like to be questioned or explain anything, that is if you can get them on the phone, or get in front of them when you get to the store.RUN, dont walk, RUN from this company. They are scamming, incompetent, and rude, they significantly markup their hardware, and they placate on the technically ignorant by making you feel inadequate. If my data cannot be retrieved from this computer, I will be taking this company to small claims court.

I purchased a new MacBook from Computer Pro all on the phone and with their curbside service this summer during a COVID spike. I purchased the service plan which included the transfer and cleanup of my data. I have used the service for what might be considered “dumb questions” and for a major technical issue. I took my computer here with an issue of blacking out after a few hours of use. The tech was unable to find the issue and I asked how long they had it on, which I was told they had it on for 2 hours. I was extremely disappointed that I was charged $150 for someone putting in minimal effort in trying to find my computers issues. I asked what they could do further and I was told they could see if it was an environmental issue by comming to my house for another $150. So potentially $300 for not solving my issue. The staff were kind and understanding but the service I received was subpar and I feel cheated out of my moneyThe store reached out to me after my review and offered to give the computer another look. This time the technician put a TON of effort into solving my issue and in the end was able to resurrect my computer. I appreciate the quick response and the hard work computer pros provided me and I’ll be a customer here in the future.

We. have purchased our last 3 computers from Computer Pros. One was for our daughter. Everytime we have had a lot of help from the guys at CPs and they have let us know about upcoming specials in case we wanted to wait to get the sale prices. We have had to take our computers in for servicing off and on and they have done a great job getting them cleaned up and serviced. Their prices are very competitive and their service is quick and thorough. We will always go back to CPs to get our laptops and computers. I cant say enough good things about them.

I brought in an older Macbook Pro for a performance upgrade. First of all, everyone in the store was so friendly from the beginning. After receiving the device back, I realized there had been a misunderstanding(mutual) of what I had hoped to achieve with the upgrade, and I contacted Computer Pros again. They swiftly responded to me, and in speaking with Ian I also found him to be very professional and understanding. Computer Pros treated me more than fairly, they treated me GREAT! Ultimately, Jon helped to get me into a newer machine that would do everything I need. If you need computer assistance, or want to purchase a Mac, these guys truly are Pros, and they know how to treat customers. Poor Communication, Low Integrity.Dropped off Macbook Thursday, agreed to sign up for a year of ProCare service plan (which has 60-day cancellation policy listed on contract) because I was told it would move the job to front of queue, with expected pickup on Monday, as opposed to regular turnaround time of 1-1.5 weeks. Monday I called and was told the part should arrive Tuesday morning. Tuesday I called at 5:34pm to check on it so that I could pick it up if ready before 6pm close of business. Received a call back at 6:02, after close, that it was ready for pickup on Wednesday. Given there was no communication initiated on their end to let me know of the delay, I opted to cancel the service plan, preferring not to work with them in future and understanding I would need to pay a one-time $80 for the service (as well as $460 for the part). They then required an additional $100 fee for expedited service, which I paid to get my computer back, but had not agreed to upfront and did not have time to argue over.From my perspective, a better business practice would have been to 1) let me know proactively that the repair date would be delayed from the original agreement, and 2) to make it right by waiving - or at least discounting - the expedited service fee.Fortunately, there are other options for computer repair in Nashville, and perhaps they will have better communication and integrity than I experienced with Computer Pros.

I am precisely aware of the service provided to my wife, Laura, whose experience with Computer PROS (sic) was less than professional. Heres what you could have done, in order of their occurring. First, instead of reaching out to her to resolve an issue preventing us from processing the repair, you could have AT THE TIME SHE TURNED IN HER COMPUTER instructed her to turn off the device in iCloud, not almost a full business day later. Second, when you did not receive the part on the expected schedule, you COULD have proactively reached out to inform her that the service would have been delayed. (Note this well for the future: honesty is not just not telling lies; it is also telling the truth--because what people dont know affects them.) Third, on Tuesday when you reached out just at closing to arrange pickup, the timestamp on your message was 6:02. An immediate call back to your business got no answer, because your business was closed -- at 6:00. Please pay attention: the computer works well. Your company repaired it fine. But because of your defensiveness, because of not communicating that you regretted that the repair would run a little late, because you called after you had closed to arrange for pickup, because it was two days later than promised, because you did not make any concession AT ALL in the price when she picked it up, you got - and will continue to get - one star reviews. Having already gotten two defensive responses from your store, why on earth would you expect her to reply to your managers phone call? And with your we did nothing wrong, its somebody elses fault reply to her review, why on earth should anyone hope for better response from you? Doing your work well is more than fixing things. Its being honest and forthright with people when you didnt do what you should, cant deliver on your promise, and do all you can to make it right when you screw up. You screwed up.

I was referred to computer pros from the Apple store. My MacBook Air 2012 lost the connection with my mouse - I called for an appointment and was told to pop in - John took my laptop in the back , reappeared with my working 2012 MacBook Air and said no charge - I couldn’t believe it. He said he only needed to tighten a screw. I was shocked and thankful I left promising to return. Well about 2 months later my fiancé’s Hp died and to computer pros we went. 2015 Mac book air - awesome machine! I was so jealous of my Sweetie’s new purchase I bout a 2017 MacBook Pro about 2 months later - I made the mistake bringing my sine with me and they tricked me out of 2Additional laptops and somehow convinced me to purchase a huge 5k retina 27 inch iMac (it’s a beautiful beast )... anyway that’s the beginning of my love story - recently I took my macbook pro in for Sevice because my professors were complaining that they couldn’t hear me on zoom! Within the week John called to say they found liquid damage and corrosion inside the machine .. I knew for sure that The machine hadn’t gotten wet in my possession and told John as much - well he called me back within the hour of our conversation and told me the machine was being repaired at no cost to me. Whoa! He took the time to investigate the issue and didn’t pass the blame and expense to me. I couldn’t be more thankful that there are still honest merchants in the world. I appreciated his apology and immediate care and attention to my matter - all of my computer needs will be taken to Computer Pros ! They are a class act ! Any and everyone willing to listen will hear me rant and rave about the professionalism at this store. Today I bought a Sonos :-) Computer Pros - YOU ROCK!

If you are someone who doesnt want to deal with going to the Green Hills Mall and/or the insanity that is the Apple Store to have an Apple product repaired, Computer PROS is THE best (Apple Authorized, too) place to go.I needed to go to Computer PROS on two separate occasions, and both times they could not have been nicer, more professional or helpful than they were. I have dealt with both Jason and Dennis, and let me tell you what is rare in this day and age -- these gentleman stand by their work. They have integrity! We have purchased multiple Apple devices from these guys, and always get the ProCare Plan, which has saved us a ton on labor for repairs over the years. We typically keep our laptops 5-7 years and desktops almost 10, so the care helps get every cent out of these expensive but elegant devices. I bought a new MacBook Pro in May directly from Apple, paid for it, got it in early June, major black/blank screen problems by mid-June. So, I got a lemon from Apple. Apple Support says take it to Computer Pros in Nashville for the free repair/warranty work. Around June 20 or so, I went to the store near Green Hills; everyone was nice and professional during that visit. A few days later they call and indicate that the Apple fix will probably result in data loss and they offer to upload my data to their server for ~$149. I say yes, do it.Two weeks go by (now early July) with no contact or updates from Apple or Computer Pros - no texts, no emails, no voice calls. I call Computer Pros for an update. They say Apple has the laptop and is really busy. Two more weeks go by with no contact or updates from Apple or Computer Pros - no texts, no emails, no voice calls. I use my phone and email for business and I check both religiously for work so Im 1000% sure no contact was made.I called CompPros on July 22 for an update. I get a complex story that (1) Apple sent the laptop back unfixed (because somehow miraculously Find My ___ got turned back on?), (2) we have had your laptop since July 3rd and you need to turn off the Find My so that we can send it back to Apple, (3) no wait, Apple did fix it and the Find My wasnt an issue, and then (4) we/Computer Pros didnt/couldnt back up your data so we sent the laptop on to Apple and all the data is gone but we can give you Apples # and you can call them and ask for the old part back (WHAT?!?). OMG.The lack of contact and the complete mixed messaging just left a really, really bad taste in my mouth. Most of the lost data - digital images and videos of my wife, family and kids.Computer Pros did call me back and apologized and offered some free services and a $50 gift card or a harddrive (?). So am I happy with the service I received? No way. Is this standard operating procedure for Computer Pros? Probably not, but understand that this has happened. Ugh!UPDATE (7/27/2020): I picked up the laptop today. As the CEOs response indicated, my experience with Apple and Computer Pros may have been abnormal and atypical. The store manager did give me an external G drive (1 TB) (rating upgraded to 3 stars) and he apologized again both of which was appreciated. I hope the MacBook will now do what it is supposed to do and I can begin reconstructing the lost data and backing that data up with the G Drive.

Great service! Bought a refurbished macbook pro for a good price. When I brought it home and got to work I noticed the fan was making a weird noise but hadnt noticed it at first because it hadnt heated up while in the store. Easy to miss. I brought it back two days later and Jayson took it in the back, had the techs swap out the fan for a new one and I was on my way within in ten minutes. In other words it was still totally worth the price being that the one minor imperfection I found was fixed immediately. Laptop has been working great since. I highly recommend this place. I brought my MacBook Pro here solely for a battery replacement. I was told that it would be free of charge since I had AppleCare unless they found water damage, which I told them is great news because they would not find any water damage. I received a call the next day saying they could not repair my MacBook Pro unless I paid $300 because I had a loose key and a tiny crack in the bottom right of my screen (near the MacBook Pro stamp on the front of the laptop). This baffled me because I was still under AppleCare warranty and I only wanted my battery replaced, none of the aforementioned things hindered my MacBook Pro from functioning and I did not bring it in for those repairs. The guy was so abrupt with me and said, “well, if you don’t want to pay $300 you can come get it and see what Apple says”. I did just that and lo’ and behold, Apple at CoolSprings Galleria has sent my laptop off to be repaired without any hassle and extra fees. They even told me that the loose key will automatically be replaced along with the battery replacement because the keyboard and battery are all somehow connected in the 2017 MacBook Pros. I couldn’t believe I was treated this carelessly at Computer Pros, however thank God Apple resolved this expeditiously and professionally. Please refer to Apple in CoolSprings for your MacBook repairs if you are still under warranty, your wallet will thank you.

They were an absolute pleasure to work with. I came in because my less than a year old MacBook Pro had liquid damage. Apple quoted me $1000 for just the repair of the visibly affected areas. Computer Pros quoted me almost half for a full liquid repair. They were completely honest and helped me to find the right option for what I needed. They also offer other amazing services. I will definitely be back again and would recommend to everybody.

I brought in my mid-2010 Mac Mini (that was finally starting to slow down) to have the hard drive swapped out for a newer, faster Solid State Drive. There were some unforeseen complications with the procedure given that it was an older, outdated machine -- but Computer Pros - Nashville went above and beyond to correct the issue and make sure that I was satisfied. My Mac Mini is now up and running faster than every with the new SSD, and I am most certainly a happy customer. Thanks to store manager @Dennis and Ian for providing excellent customer support!

Took in my laptop for service and wound up having to replace it. Ian was wonderful in his description of the problem and suggested remedies. I decided to purchase a new laptop instead of repairing the old. Ian understood my business needs and guided me to the right purchase. Very happy with these guys!03/13/2019 Just had an external drive tracking added to my computer. The support for this external drive is no longer available. Computer Pros mapped my laptop to the external drive. Its back to being point and click which I love! Thank you!!!!

I needed to diagnose an issue with my laptop screen. Throughout the process I was treated with honesty and respect, given detailed information as well immediate responses to my calls or texts. As it turns out the laptop required more repair than was worth doing but the follow through in helping me select an affordable, appropriate option to purchase was perfect. While in the shop each time I saw many customers in the shop treated with the same high level customer service. This team can help you !

A week ago my computer randomly would no longer boot up. Being someone who didnt back up their files, I panicked. My husband and I were just blessed with a new baby girl four months ago, and ALL of the pictures that we had taken the past four months were living in Iphoto...no where else. Needless to say, I was a wreck. I stayed up for hours that night trying to fix it myself. When I had no luck, I scheduled an appointment with the Geniuses at the Apple Store. They were in fact geniuses, because they sent me to Computer Pros. The Apple Store knew they were probably going to have to replace my hard drive, and I would have lost all of my files. Computer Pros was able to retrieve ALL of my files, and they also replaced my hard drive. I will forever be grateful to them for saving all of the pictures of our baby girl. Not to mention, they are so friendly. They also called regularly with updates on the repair. Great computer shop.

My guy at Computer Pros was great to work with. It was a bad situation but he managed to recover all of my data and hook me up with a new computer. Communications were clear through the entire process and I was given ample information to make the best decision for me. I never had to wait on the phone or in the store excessively if at all. It was a great experience that could have been much worse.

Nice people and fast job. I dropped my MacBook at 1pm and got a call saying it is ready at around 3pm. They replaced a new hard drive cable and installed a new operating system. This is much faster than genius bar.

Totally professional, just as their name says. Told me what they were going to do for my repair, gave me a reasonable time frame and cost. Checked to see if I had AppleCare, which saved me $79. Highly recommended and easier access than Apple Store if youre in Green Hills.
