Professional consultation was clean, no gimmicks. Response to inquires and stated time of delivery was seamless, even in the midst of Covid. Instillation was neat and quick....not a second was wasted while the installation tech explained usage of the awning. We have used it every day since instillation and we are completely satisfied with the multi use outdoor living space we have created. We now use the deck for business zoom meetings throughout the day. Strongly recommend getting the lights for night time activities. Wonderful experience!!!!!

When the company received the awning there was possible shipping damage. Total Home Solutions notified my Mom that there could be a delay. The company personnel inspected the product before allowing it to be installed. Luckily there was no damage! Long story short. Consultation and ordering was a great experience. Installation must be by contracted because experience became a nightmare. Our awning was up two days and the led lights came down. Reported problem and was given a date for them to come out. No show no call. I understand being busy but not communicating is unacceptable. Really wish we had went with another company.

Very impressed with the amount of light given off by the Solatubes installed. The light really brightens up the room and makes the home more inviting. Also like the night light generated via a solar connection. It is a very gentle light that reminds me of moon light. We are very happy with our purchase!

I had the Solatube installed yesterday. It is the equivalent of a 75 watt light bulb with overcast cloudy skies. Cloudy again today and my kitchen is lit up much better than it ever has. Unlike my bulbs or fluorescents, this is a bright white and pleasing light. Am still in the habit of reaching for the light switch to turn it off! It is a great way to bring the outside in. It is a diffuse light. And the night light is really nice. Wish i done this before. I love it.

We were familiar with Sola Tubes as we had seen them when we were at a home improvement show back in Illinois many years ago. In our former home, we had a tube installed in our inside bathroom where there was no window at all. It was one of the best things we did!We just had 2 tubes installed in the living room here, which is on the East side of the house so when the sun moves around, there was not as much light in the room as we would like.We are very pleased with the difference they make. Sick of dealing with a couple of main areas of our house that wouldn’t keep up with our a/c temp, I called Total Home Solutions to get a free quote and ended up getting three solar attic fans installed. The pricing was a bit high per unit for our budget, but we were told that they are so powerful, we didn’t need as many as I had originally thought. It took a few weeks after the initial phone call for them to come, but I’m glad I waited. Sean showed up on time, was professional and courteous. He assessed our home needs, then got right to work. When he completed the job, other than the installed units in our roof, you couldn’t tell that anyone had been there. We even had to raise our temperature later that same day, because I swear the rooms felt cooler already. If that’s the case, we’re extremely happy. Waiting to see what tomorrow brings :)

We had three Solartube lights put in; two bathrooms and a dark hallway. They are awesome! In one bathroom we added an option that diffuses the sunlight into four segments, and it added a very interesting effect to the decor. With the built in solar nightlight it means no more turning on the light to use the bathroom. It also only took only a few hours to install. Awesome job!

Sean did a fantastic job installing 5 sun tunnels for us. We had a tricky steep roof which he managed to work with. I cant write a review with giving at least 1 star....My boyfriend and I purchased an awning through Sun Setters 4-5 weeks before Labor Day because of the contents of everything that came with ordering. The owner of Total Home Solutions came out to bid the job himself. He looked at everything gave me a quote himself. So now the problem is that it was half installed...only the awning was installed. The lights were never installed, nor the side pieces that came with it. Plus the grill that came with it has still not been sent to us. We were under the impression that we had a 90 day/money back guarantee. Well apparently that is not true because the owner of the company told us that he was NOT going to come and take down the product that his guys installed. He made a mistake when he came to look at everything and now we have to waste more time to write reviews on how poorly they have conducted business with us. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The only good thing was the 2 men who came out to do the install were great guys.

We have lived in our beautiful home for 17 years and the only thing that bothered me was the long dark hallway to the garage. Last fall we had two solar tubes installed in that dark hallway and it is amazing how much light is now coming in. I only wish we could have installed them years ago. Great service on installation of a 14 Solatube in my dark stairwell. Dawn communicated with me as needed about the job, and Shawn worked hard to get the light up in my two-story ceiling over the stairs leading to my bonus room. It made a huge difference. I had him place two filters in the finished light to match the more ambient lighting in my upstairs. He answered all my many questions and patiently worked through issues that arose along the way.

Solatube is the best way I know to light up a dark house without ANY energy costs! This is a skylight without the leaks, maintenance, cleaning and all the hassle that comes with them. This is a small tube that connects from your ceiling through the roof to a dome that directs light down into the tube. The result is when you are done in a room where a solitude is, you turn to switch off the light - but it was never on!Great investment! This is the second house we installed Solatube in and have never been sorry.

4-7-14 I ordered 6 windows (4300hp double hung with grids and exterior trim) the salesman and the installer measured and after a month of waiting for the windows to be made the installer showed up to install the windows immediately he started tearing the shutters and vinyl off the front of the condo then he told me they were the wrong windows. I only have 6 total (two doubles and 2 singles). 2 hours later he figured out only the two front ones were wrong. So he installed the other 4 and did not put any trim around them however he used a lot of caulk they do not look professionally installed. They were supposed to put a rush order on the two windows that they measured wrong.The shutters are still sitting in my kitchen. the last time I talked to this company he agreed he wouldnt want that installer back at his house and he told me he had another installer who was on a big job so he didnt know when he could get to them but he would be talking to him in the next day or so and let me know, Ive not heard anything in a week and he has not answered the last 2 times Ive called. Update. 6-24-14 I was called today and there is supposed to be someone coming Thursday to install the 2 windows and fix the trim on the windows the first installer messed up. Update a different installer came by Thursday and took pictures and looked at the windows dropped off my 2 windows was coming back Monday to install, I got a text today that said his girlfriend passed out walking down there driveway and he was at the hospital would have to reschedule for tomorrow.
