Brought my 2016 Ford F-250 6.2 (gas) to have the spark plugs replaced. They got it done. Charged over $800. Great. Fast forward a year and my truck is throwing misfire codes on and off. Took it to another shop. They said the plugs were bad and it only looked like half of them were replaced. (Engine has 16 plugs). I saw the plugs and indeed lined up with what they said. The other shop I brought the truck too also charged $300 less. I would NEVER come here for service again.

They did an honest job at a fair price in a reasonable timeframe and I would recommend them to others. They did not try and oversell me on expensive parts.

Lawson & Son saved the day! I was able to drop my car off in the morning, got a call before end of day with an update. Needed more work so left it one more day. Got called the very next day before end of day - all work done and ready to go. They broke down all my options with price points and gave their recommendation and advice. Want to thank Lawson & Son Auto Repair. Wish I could remember the name of the mechanic who helped me. I was just passing through town and had a check engine light come on my older Land Rover LR4. They were kind enough to get me right in to check it out and make sure it was nothing dangerous. Fortunately it wasnt and the mechanic was kind enough to show me the code and clear out the system. Again, PK and his Team have taken absolute care of my vehicle and me. It was time for an oil and filter change and a couple of other regular maintenance items. Made an appointment and they had me in and out in about an hour. The entire time I was hanging out in the waiting area (working!) I heard how professional and friendly everyone is to each other as well as the sales folks that were in and out. And I wasnt overcharged like I had been at a couple of the other auto repair shops in a 1 mile radius (looking at you M*d*s!) I highly recommend Lawson & Son Auto Repair...you will not be disappointed!

Our car had to be towed to Lawson & Son at 8:00pm. My wife needed the car back by 11:00am the following morning. They were able to replace the alternator and have the car ready for pickup by 11:00am as promised. That is great customer service! I highly recommend Lawson & Son. This isnt my preferred side of town, I chose this place only because it was the closest AAA recommended for a tow after my van died in a horrible spot. They were kind and efficient and put in a new alternator in something like 4 hours, which is amazing. Even decent quality beverage choices in the waiting area. I am so grateful, and now I know of a good mechanic on that side of town.

I have taken vehicles here several times over the years and I’ve never had a problem with service or quality of work. They are not the cheapest around but they do great work. If there should be any problem- Mr. Kelly works hard to fix the issue. Always impressed. These are great guys!

This was one of the roughest experiences I’ve ever had with an auto shop. I was away on a trip while they diagnosed my vehicle and we expected to be put on the back burner a few days. It ended up being a week before they could figure out anything. After hearing the estimate, we gave our regular ship a call. Turns out Lawson’s was wanting to charge me double for a cracked upper intake. So I paid the $122 for diagnostics and took my car on to my regular mechanic. Which is what I should have done to begin with, because not only would it have been cheaper but the diagnostics was wrong.Within a few minutes of looking at my car they found a rat nest around the injection wires and saw they were all kinds of chewed up. They also found it was the lower intake instead of upper that was cracked.I don’t normally write out negative reviews and I had a lot of faith in this place because of the positive reviews, but I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I felt the need to post this as a warning to always get a second opinion and don’t let positive Google reviews up your expectations.

Lawsons is the best auto shop I have ever used, whether oil changes, car repair and mileage updates. They employ extremely experienced, skilled repairmen. They are truly concerned about their customer and have never let me down. If theres something Im concerned about, theyll always fit me in. Theyre the best!

I have been a Lawson & Son customer for many years. I brought in my 2014 Subaru for an oil and filter change at my 8:00 a.m. appointment, and once again Pete and the guys were exceptional. Attention to detail, professionalism, timeliness, friendly help, and good prices. The day before, Id bought a quart of oil to be sure I wasnt too low until I got mine changed, and Pete offered and installed for me. Contrary to the horrible review of one customer, these guys are class act people! My alternator was about to leave me stranded on the side of the road. I called Lawsons and these guys are the best, most professional mechanics Ive ever dealt with. I called them expecting them to say it would be a few days before they could fit me in but they said to bring it on down that they could fit me in SAME DAY! I drove my vehicle to their shop and they drove me back to my house while I waited for the repair to be completed. Well, impatient me took the bus back down to their shop. While I was there, the mechanic working on my vehicle pointed out the I should replace my valve cover gaskets soon. He said it didnt have to be done today but said they would need to be changed soon. Another plus was the final price was CHEAPER than their original quote they gave me! Great service, spacious air conditioned office with a giant TV AND great, Professional service..... Cant beat it. I Highly recommend these guys for ALL of your car care needs!

Always excellent. You see a lot of women there, and that tells you everything you need to know, if you know what I mean. Women know they are typically gonna get the shaft, and I guess these women I speak of know this is a safe place to go: an atypical auto repair shop. There must be other reputable shops but why take a chance until you have to?

When it comes to mechanics, I care more about honesty and workmanship than anything else. Im very careful about who I have work on my vehicles for this very reason. If I come once and get the pressure tactics about the $1000 worth of work I need right now on my car I wont be back. Being able to ask What needs to be done now and what can wait? and knowing I will get a response I can trust is very important to me.So, when my prior mechanic moved too far away, I was worried. However, Lawson and son came highly recommended from a good friend. I was not disappointed; its awesome to find another highly competent and trustworthy place to take my car so close to work.

I recently moved into the area and hadnt yet found a good, trustworthy auto shop to take my car to when it decided to die on me during traffic one morning. AAA suggested Lawson and Son Auto Repair, as they were the closest repair shop to my break down location. I got lucky!Not only did the guys find the problem that same day, fitting me into their already busy schedule, they also had the parts on hand and were able to repair my car by the end of the day!When I received the call from PK, saying my car was ready to be picked up, only hours after Id left it with them, I was beyond thrilled. When I heard what the problem had been and the total cost of the repair, I was even more excited.When I picked up my car the next morning, PK noted that I needed new tires, and printed me up a quote at my request. No pressure to get extra work done, only concern for what was necessary and needed attention soon. I appreciate that. These guys left a great first impression. I know where Ill be taking my car from now on.

Have had nothing but fine experiences with Lawson Bros. Pricing is fair, work exemplary, turnaround fast. They will attempt to repair a problem vs always throwing parts at it. If there has ever been an issue, its always been dealt with in an expeditious fashion. I have my son in laws taking their autos to Lawson now.

I love Lawson & Son! They are reliable, honest, excellent mechanics. As a customer of theirs for 7.5 years, I have felt comforted knowing that if my 145k mile Honda Pilot runs great because they make sure I get the maintenance I need. We have had no breakdowns with any of our vehicles that have all been used Hondas or Acuras and I credit that, in part, to the great service and attention we have received over the years from PK and Pete and their staff. This guys are really awsome. On our way back home from vacation alternator died . These guys had parking lot full of cars waiting to be fixed , but they still were able to fix our van in couple of hours. This is service I will never forget. Thank you guys again. Keep up this awsome service.

I called this morning to see if Lawsons could do an oil change and tire rotation for me. I also asked them to make a small repair on the underside of the car. Horrible service. My car was towed there by AAA. They gave me a diagnosis of $600 for repairs then charged me $1150 when I never authorized them. I never received a single, not ONE phone call from them during the whole time my car was there. I have filed complaints with AAA and better bureau because of the lies and charges.

Our Suburban would not start in our driveway. We called Lawson & Sons. The guys came out, got the truck started and took it to the shop for further diagnostics.Come to find out, it needed a new Battery.These guys go the extra mile for customer satisfaction.Jjs

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! My clutch was going out. PK the owner said I needed new slave cylinder which will cost $808! Thats more than my mortgage. I was gonna have to blow my mortgage payment to pay Lawsons. My boyfriend came with me and alas all I needed was one simple o ring. PK the owner was gonna get almost $1,000 from me which I needed to pay my mortgage. He is a WHITE LIAR and ha, ha, ha he didnt get not one penny from me.
