You forgot to mention Nissans.I needed a full brake job on my 2013 maxima, rotors, pads and fluid flush. They gave me reasonable pricing and had me in and out in 2.5-3 hours.I had a slight issue after the brake change (resolved on its own) and they were adamant that I come back by just to make sure everything was in good order.I appreciate them taking my safety seriously and getting me in and out without any fuss.

We have been using this shops import car services for several years. They are very professional and reasonable.

Took my car in for an oil change and general inspection as it was getting up there in miles. They told me it would be half the cars value in repairs within the next 6 months. I offered to pay to have it all done then, as I cant be without a car. They instead explained to me that that wasnt in my best interest and recommended I sell the car due to the known transmission life expectancy.That means they turned down a large amount of money in order to make sure I made the right financial decision. They also did not charge me for the inspection where they found these issues - which was going to be about as much as the oil change.Ill be a lifelong customer.

Ive gotten my Jetta Hybrid serviced here for years, and theyve always been great! Not the cheapest place, but theyre honest and up front about the costs and timeline. Theyve been getting busier this last year and harder to get in to (which is totally deserved but annoying lol), so schedule ahead!

GPO went above and beyond to help me maintain my M3, While also being courteous and flexible with the time-line for the repair jobs that were being done. At this point they have done Vanos, coilover, and even subframe work in a timely and professional manner. I plan on using their shop for all of my repairs and mods!

Was told I never gave a phone call about a simple inquiry.I Was Basically told I was delusional and never called their shop about getting my grille replaced on my Audi .. they tried to right there wrongs but the vibe was not matching they money I was willing to spend . They Lost a potential customer as if the grill went good I would do my stage 2 tune thru them .. if your in Clarksville go to imports don’t waste your time

I let very few people work on my car, and after my experience at GPO, they are definitely added to the collection. Clean and professional shop. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. My car was well taken care of in an efficient and thorough manner. One of my wheels is damaged and they were able to get it balanced better than any other shop and I could not be more satisfied. My 2013 WRX is both a daily and my once a month rally car. I am looking forward to an alignment check and working with them to fix whatever I throw out of adjustment or break while tossing her around at the track.

Cut wires to BOTH OF MY FRONT TURN SIGNALS!!, didnt hook up side marker lights, OIL and coolant leaking from the oil cooler and cooling hoses they replaced....ALL of the clamps where loose! THEN I had to rewire my entire front end for turns/fogs to work!They straight denied any wrong doing.Then when they had no answer, started changing the subject to other stuff that had nothing to do with the car. NEVER. AGAIN!Addendum to GPOs less than honest rebuttal.(See yellow screen shots for my response, since i exceeded the character limit)

I had GPO create and install a custom Stage 3 upgrade for my 2013 S8. Corey and the rest of the GPO team involved did an amazing job and I cant recommend them highly enough. My car is now substantially faster and more reliable thanks to GPOs knowledge of my car and its engine. If you want an alternative to the dealership for service or a unique opportunity to get your German car tuned professionally, this is the place to go in the Nashville area.

GPO is simply the best. I had some shaking on my Audi A4 and had no clue what it was. They checked it out, saw what it was and got it right the first time. Getting the job right the first time is key. They dont do any Well try this and if it doesnt work well try that. Thats because theyre very knowledgeable and have extensive experience. For you Audi owners, theyre Audi certified. The quality of work at GPO is better than the dealer and at a cheaper price. Id recommend GPO to anyone in need of repair or tuning, especially if you have a German car.

These guy were recommended by a tdi club member on Facebook. Took them like 2 days to replace my alternator, changed me more than a dealer. I was holed up in a local motel eating pizza on a cross country trip. Literally will never stop here again. I had to come back and put this review here after stopping here two years ago after remembering how they had a receptionist call me and ask about my service here like months afterwards. (Funny part is-i zoomed back in on my Google maps and my entire review is gone and theres a 5 star rating.. whatever. Adjusting back to reality.)Would have done a 1 star, but the repair lasted until I sold the car in 2020. New owner called me up randomly in September wondering about the part. Apparently it needs fixing again. I told him to look this place up when looking at doing repairs. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The whole process of getting my 2017 911 turbo serviced was perfect. I was a little nervous at first taking my Porsche to anybody other than the dealer. My experience was perfect every bit as good if not better than the dealer. Shawn was my service writer and did a excellent job communicating with me. Car was returned with the service work completed and in perfect condition. Saved over a thousand dollars compared to what the dealer had quoted for the same job.

This is the only shop Ive let touch my S4 for about 4 years now. I found them in my search for an APR (Audi Performance Racing Accys) Shop in Nashville. Its not the most convenient location for me, but they have been worth the drive. They really know their stuff -- however, after a routine service, including an Oil Change and Spark Plugs, it started leaking oil (on my garage floor). Since its never leaked before and is only at 50k miles, chances are that its a loose or cross-threaded filter or oil plug. Theyre were less than accommodating to get the issue taken care of and had to schedule an appointment and leave the car for what should be a simple fix (unless they damaged it beyond a simple fix) - What really sucks is that I have an hour+ long round trip drive to the shop and will have to find someone to pick me up - and take me back so they can fix theyre quality control issues. Things happen -- and Fridays probably arent the best day to get the best work done, but I judge strongly on how problems are addressed.

I made an appointment with these guys after my dealership told me I was in need of new coolant even though I was almost positive I was not due for this service. Doug was kind enough to ease some of my concern by first testing my coolant with me there to see if it needed to be replaced before spending the money to fix it. Doug was incredibly genuine and polite. Even though they didn’t get the sale that day since my coolant was in fact in good shape, they seriously helped me out and saved me a solid chunk of change and I am very appreciative of that! This kind of business goes a long way and I will for sure be coming back to get future services done with them. Thank you again!

Brought my Audi A4 after the Audi dealership told me to replace my transmission since there was metal in my fluid. They inspected the transmission and the fluid and told me there wasn’t any loose metal and that it looked great. Had my fluid and filter changed and the car runs perfectly. Brian and the entire team were very helpful and made me feel welcomed, and for that I’ll definitely be going back if I ever need anything!

When my car broke down I was very apprehensive about where to take it. After looking at the reviews of German Performance Options I decided to take it there. They did not disappoint. Cody was amazing and never to busy to answer any of my questions. He talked me through all my options and if I didnt understand something, he talked me through it until I did. After reading great reviews about this shop, I thought I would give them a shot instead of driving to the Audi dealer. $900 Lesson learned.Who doesn’t hook up a vehicle to the diagnostic machine first to discover what error codes display? Apparently they were doing me a “favor”.What’s the purpose of technology if it isn’t even used? Does a surgeon operate without taking an X-ray first?Tech said he smelled Fuel in the oil. $ 900 for a new fuel pump and my engine light is still on? My fault for not getting a second opinion. Even the quote was wrong versus what I was charged. They lost my trust. I’ll never be back. Take your car somewhere else.

After reading so many positive reviews of German Performance Options, I decided to bring in my 2011 BMW M3. What I like about this shop, compared to other shops I have been to, is the feeling of honesty and integrity they have behind their work. They will explain what needs to be done and take the time to answer your questions. They present many courses of action yet I did not feel rushed or pressured to make a choice. I also appreciate that they implemented a 2 year/ 24,000 mile warranty on the throttle actuator service they provided. I feel comfortable enough to say that I would bring my M3 back here if I need more service done.

I dealt with Brian and Jake is who worked on my BMW. Everyone was so kind. I will definitely come there from now on. Brian kept me posted on what was going on and Jake also did a great job putting the parts I needed.

GPO is just the best. The service engine soon light came on my 2003 BMW Z4. Jake did a scan on it and the indication was an issue with the fuel system. Ultimately it turned out to be the air pump that they had installed a few months ago had failed. They replaced that part under warranty and drove the car through the mileage cycle to make sure the fault code cleared. A 15 year old car is going to have issues and GPO keeps mine running great. Theyve always been clear with explanations and are great to deal with.

We have had three different beetle tdis serviced here over the years, and they really know what they are doing. Not a lot of auto mechanics will even work with diesel beetles. A dealership will often just want you to buy new car rather than have an older car repaired. The receptionist staff are very friendly.

Here are some main points:Honest-You dont have to guess, Is this work really necessary?Price-I have found them to be about 20% less than the competition.Customer 1st-Willing to make suggestions/provide alternatives.Suggestions:Do give them ample time to work on your car, this isnt a 30 minute oil change place, they take time with each customer to educate and explain how things work. The only thing missing from their waiting room is a massage chair, plenty of refreshments too. If you dread taking your car in because of a hefty bill let GPO guide you through the options, what is needed now, what can wait and so on.

These guys are the very best! They are the only ones that have ever worked on my Audi A-6 with twin turbochargers. It still runs perfect with 217,000 miles on it. They are extremely knowledgeable and are trustworthy--they do what is needed, and dont sell you things you dont need. Ive been a customer since they opened their doors.

GPO takes time to explain repair costs and maintenance on German and other European cars. If you own an import. GPO is the best place to go in Nashville for cars that are no longer under factory warranty. Jay Gould has worked on my Porsches for several years and he is one of the best Porsche mechanics in the region. In my experience, the GPO front office staff have been very helpful, and I will continue to take my Porsche there for service.

Brian and Melissa were very helpful and understanding of my situation. I was skeptical at first because this was the first time I’ve taken my car to somewhere besides a dealership, and everyone has the heard horror stories. I was able to receive the same “peace of mind.” They said my car was in great condition and I was out of there in about hour & a half.. when I was told it would be 2-3 hours. So that was awesome. My experience was they were clear in saying what they would do and reviewing my vehicles needs and then did what they said they would do and the communication throughout from Brian was superb.

I brought my recently purchased A3 tdi here to change the oil (due to the Acura dealership i bought it from doing this incorrectly and tripping a sensor). I chose GPO over the Audi dealership(and will going forward) for many reasons such as great reviews & proximity to my house but mainly to support a local business with great people running it. My service took quite a bit longer than anticipated but they went *WAY* over & beyond trying to make sure i was happy when i left- and i am. I will be back.Thank you.

I am keeping this brief but it really is a long story. Brian and Jake both know this and I appreciate their patience for it.I bought my wife a bmw 535i, that unknown to me at the time, had the problem of severe condensation in the headlight.I did my research and found out that I had to replace the headlight assembly and the control module because it was shorted out after being exposed to the water.I replace all of those myself but needed the module programmed.I called up GPO because of thier positive ratings and dropped off the vehicle. After a couple a couple of days, they informed me that I had installed the wrong module. (I was given bad information from a dealership when I ordered it).Long story short, they found the correct one and installed and programmed it.Unfortunately, due to previous water damage, there were still some intermittent problems.They worked with me to resolve all of the problems and now the car works great.Thanks again to Brian and Jake for all of their assistance. When I first moved here at the end of 2017 I should’ve taken my car here. Biggest regret. Honestly if I had known what I know now, the guys here at German Performance Options would’ve got my business along time ago back in 2017. Where do I start? When I first moved here my car was having all sorts of problems and I found what I thought was a reliable and honest mechanic to work on my vehicle but turns out on the end was very dishonest and would charge me for services he said he performed and lied about it just to get money. Let’s just say he’s one of those YouTube mechanics. You know the ones that look at YouTube right before they are about to work on your car. I’m a proud owner of a 2009 Audi A4 Quattro that is heavily modified. My car didn’t need a YouTube mechanic.!! Lol. Fast forward a year and half later, with almost a complete engine rebuild due to mechanic faults I’m stuck with my car with the same issue or what I thought was the same issue. I asked around and friends were telling me about two places to take my car to get serviced. One was another Audi specialist who services the Nashville area but seem to be dishonest. And then you have German Performance Options!!! TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I REPEAT, TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEM!!! If you are an owner of a German car, and you are a Woman, don’t look any further. With it being a male dominated industry already, some men get intimidated about female drivers especially those who have German cars or who love to race!! Not these guys. THEY ARE HONEST!!! 💯 Honest!!! They don’t sugar coat anything they will tell you straight up what is wrong with your vehicle . They take the time to explain it to you, they also take the time to listen to different ideas that you have on your vehicle for Performance Options. Hence the name.!!! That whole gimmick that you hear in most shops saying “they get it done right the first time” well that’s 100% accurate here. You’re gonna see some negative reviews on here talking about the shop did this and did that. MOST OF THEM have probably never been to GPO they just post things online to make a business look bad!!!! Everyone down here from the people at the front desk to the mechanics who work hard on your vehicles are all very approachable. I was very impressed at how neat, and how personal they get with you. I walked in with a car which I didn’t know what was going on, and walked out with almost a brand new car!! My Audi runs smooth, with the APR stage 2 tune on it. It’s only the beginning of what I want to do to my car. But I have faith that they will get me where I want with me vehicle!!! If you are a woman, take your car here that’s all I’m going to say!!!!

The guys at German Performance are very knowledgeable and polite. I have never had any problems getting work done or asking questions. If it is an unfamiliar aftermarket upgrade or work item they will actually spend the time to give you a realistic install time rather than just read from some book.

My experience was good. MY audi a3 was serviced here because I had a nasty rear main seal leak. These folks found the problem right away and offered a replacement part that is supposed to be much better than factory. They also gave me a detailed list of other items that should be looked at. The repairs were itemized and they didnt do any work until I gave them my approval.

On very short notice and upon completing an Audi dealer courtesy (no charge) exhaust repair, I phoned Melissa M (Customer Service Specialist) at German Performance Options (GPO) in Nashville, TN to purchase an APR Stage 1 ECU tuning upgrade before the 10% off sale ended. I had one day to spare to get the sale price. Melissa was cheerful, professional and accommodating on the phone and said yes, call us when you leave the dealership and we will get you in.Upon arrival, Justis K (Partner) wrote up my work order and Dennis K (Technician) did the software install. Both Justis and Dennis were receptive, cheerful and professional as well. Many, if not most performance shops would have been irritated and/or turned me away for requesting the tuning upgrade on such short notice, but not GPO! I have been taking my vehicles in for a year now and this review is long overdue. I was in a crisis situation (if I turned off my BMW 328i it probably wasn’t going to turn back on) the first time I encountered Melissa at German Performance Options. She was honest in telling me that it might be a few days since they were maxed out with work but had me come in anyway because of my safety. I have since purchased another BMW and I will not even get my oil changed anywhere else. Brian and Melissa care about not just the well-being of my vehicle but they care about me!
