The eye exam was great and by itself I would give it 5 stars. I ordered 2 pair of glasses and the style I wanted was there. I would have preferred to have them in a slightly narrower width, but was told I could only choose from what was on display in the store. Not what I’m used to from other eye care centers. There was no discussion of options and pricing. I noticed I was charged $110 for an option on the one pair of glasses that would be of no benefit for me. When I called about that they tried to talk me out of not getting that option. Eventually they did refund me the money. That was about a month ago. I’m still waiting for my glasses. They originally told me two to two and a half weeks for the glasses. My wife had an exam one day later than mine and her two pair of glasses have arrived. During this pandemic they take great care to only let one customer into the store at the time. When my wife arrived to pick up her glasses they were handed to her on the sidewalk outside the store. No fittings was going to be provided. We asked about an adjustment one the one pair the sales person went into the store made the adjustment and came back out to give her the glasses. If my wife had any more concerns she could just come back (really!)I called about the status of my glasses after my wife got hers. I was told they would be in the following week one pair on Monday and the other on Friday. Two weeks later I called again and was told they are in “Final Inspection”. I asked what that was and was finally told they were out of stock. This surprised me a little since at my exam I held both pair in my hands. They must have meant the pre made lenses were out of stock.Is it just possible they forgot to submit my order because I asked for a charge on the one pair AND they were too embarrassed to say that.If the glasses do not arrive this Friday because of some other silly excuse like passing final inspection I think my only option is to take my claim to the credit card company for resolution and a refund.

10/10 Recommended.The ladies working at this office are just wonderful. Everyone is kind and helpful. Will definitely continue to come here for my eye needs.

Eyeglasses turned out perfectly. Safety precautions were followed. The exam and selecting a new pair of glasses were both very pleasant experiences!

I had an appointment the first of March, ordered new glasses and was told it would take fourteen days for them to arrive. Called after fourteen days still not ready. I was told that the lenses were on back order could ready another two weeks. Called two weeks later still not ready. I was given an option to upgrade the lenses. I ordered and paid for the lenses. Was told it would be ready by the second of April and for pickup on the third of April. Called April second to see if they were ready still not in. Not happy that after all this time I havent received what I paid for.

First I scheduled my appointment on my own phone. Then I attended that appointment with no issues at all. The way it should be rocking and rolling. THANK YOU ALL.

They accommodated both of my sons and myself in such a friendly and timely manner. Everyone was wonderful and so helpful! The doctor was great with the kids and everyone was talked to was great.

Avoid. Horrible! Came in for standard eye exam, one section in prescription was blank. Emailed 2x for clarification, called 6 times over 3 days. Still cannot reach doctor or reply about my concerns! This is ridiculous!

I have been going to Rosins Eyecare Downers Grove location for 30 years . I have continued with my yearly eye exams even though we have moved out of Illinois and are now in Indiana . Nobody has the knowledge or experience that I need for my overall eye health ! The Best ...

Super professional/ friendly and cost efficient!

Do not come here. I got an eye exam done and decided not to buy glasses from them. They used my vision benefits and charged me for glasses I never ordered. I went to another optical store and they could not use my insurance benefits because Rosin eye care messed it up

The doctor and staff are helpful and friendly. The doctor listened to my concerns and explained everything well. The office pays particular attention to cleanliness and safety.

Visited this location for 9 years. They somehow screwed up my records and after my last visit, would not re-issue my last prescription despite it being their fault that the prescription they gave me was incorrect. When I voiced my complaint, nothing was done. They were fine with a client from 9 years just walking away. Guess they are so busy that they don’t need to retain clients.

I went to the facility and went up to the doors which were locked. I looked at the sign on the door to see what the hours were and the sign indicated they were open. I dragged my oxygen tank down the curb, (you would’ve thought that they would’ve had a flat surface to get to the door) by the time I got back to the car my driver said there she is there she is so I turned around and went back again they did not answer again. Another woman pulled in and I wanted to tell her as she walking towards the door and by the time she got to the door they had opened it and let her in. Being on oxygen in hot humid air makes it difficult for me to breathe. So the fact that I had to go back-and-forth from the door to the car is excusable. To say the least I was annoyed. After calling the facility all I got were excuses. I will never return here and I will tell everyone right now not to. This place sucks and has no intention on taking care of their customers.

Its been some time since I wrote my last review. But here it is. Three stars. Fair. Reasons below.Pros: staff were friendly and welcoming. Test was quick, efficient and professional.Cons: I know the rule must have been made by the manager but they charge you $25 for the PD measurement which only took 5 seconds. Good way to make quick money. They have not too many frame selections but still expect you to make the eyeglasses there. You could tell from their faces.

Picked up glasses and they are great. Suggestion to post break times larger on the door please

Eye exams at Rosin are easy and thorough. They have the latest equipment. The eye doctor was thorough, attentive and took her time giving the exam. I felt I received excellent and quality eye care.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly I will definitely be returning for future visits

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lynch for a number is years now. I’ve had trouble with contacts in the past and she works with me to find exactly the right brand and fit. She is the best.

The staffs are nice but I doubt their basic handy skills. I got my new glasses two weeks ago with no transition feature that I requested. A week later, they made a new pair of glasses, I worn it about a whole day and got a deep mark on one side of my nose bridge. I went back to the clinic asking for adjustments, I explained the details, such as, one nose pad is higher than the other side... the staff said that she cannot see the difference, she made some adjustments, but the nose pad is still sideways poking on my nose bridge. Two staffs tried and nothing improved. I don’t think they knew what they were doing. They just don’t have the basic skills to adjust the glasses.

The staff was very professional and caring. The doctor was thorough with her examination. I have been wearing eyeglasses for the past 10 years and this was the best experience I have had at an eye doctors EVER. My glasses are wonderful! Really nice, sweet people! Felt taken care of :)One more thing, I came in one day for an exam, one of the ladies at the front desk asked for my eye glasses, to check their prescription. She noticed that I had a missing nose piece and said that she can fix it for me. She later then comes back, not only did she replace both of the nose pieces, but she also fixed any other part that had problems. It was so sweet! She totally didn’t have to do that too! But she did. Thank you, again❤️

My husband and I always have great experiences at Rosin Eyecare. The staff and optometrist are great. We never have to wait long for our appointments, have good experiences with our eye doctor appointments and very friendly service while picking out eyeglasses. Great place with great staff. I have consistently come here since moving back to the suburbs for my annual exam. The staff has been really helpful in focusing on what I need and accommodating my requests. Very knowledgeable, easy to schedule, and flexible.

I have no problems with getting a convenient appointment(I usually get a postcard in the mail with an appointment they schedule for me, which can be changed, but, this year, I didnt get the postcard but got a reminder call.), getting an efficient eye test and exam, and choosing my new frames while waiting for my eyes to dilate to save time. My only problem is the way they charge me in advance for what they estimate the insurance will pay, and not submitting the complete charges for the insurance company to pay their portion or reject part of the charges. Even though I save hundreds of dollars with my insurance, it seems I still pay hundreds of dollars for eyeglasses and contact lenses. I wish they would submit the total charges like a medical doctor would do.

Have been taking my four children here for several years. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The doctors are great with kids of all ages. Two of my kids have special situations with their eyes and the staff/doctors are always accommodating and educated.

I used to have quite a few issues with the front desk service (years ago) so I left, but I just came back and the front desk is awesome and knowledgeable now and my original eye doctor is still there so everything has been great! I had a really great experience on my last visit. Very happy to be back.

They need to fix their system because we been there for over 3 months for our glasses and we kept contact them to ask if the glasses ready for pick up because we needed our glasses. They keep telling us they will let us know in til today we could not wait any longer after 15 weeks! We stopped by the office and they told us they couldn’t find my wife information on system. We left the office like 5 minutes then they called us that they found Khloe Nguyen glasses and ask us to make a u turn to pick them up! Thank you so much for the convenient and we will come back again!

I really enjoy my new glasses, that were delivered to me, by Rosin Eyecare, in Naperville. They are progressive lenses, high index, transitions. The only complaint I had, was that they took over a month, to receive in from the lab. This, is too long to wait for prescription lenses, shame on the lab !. They shouldnt have taken that long.

Ive went to other Rosin Eyecare locations before, and am now in this area, so I went here because of previous positive experiences. I wasnt disappointed. The receptionist and the optometrist were both professional and friendly. They even gave me thorough information on Lasik because I said I was interested. I highly recommend!

The staff was so friendly. I had a really bad experience with the last eye doctor and went with the wrong prescription for almost a year. The doctor at rosin really took her time with me and made sure the prescription was perfect. My headaches are gone and I can see again.

Was referred to Rosin about 8 years ago. Have only seen Dr Sheldon who is awesome. I would highly recommend her.

I need to have the pads adjusted. Its pressing to hard leaving indentations on my nose.

My entire experience with Rosin EyeCare was subpar.Environment:The facility felt forgotten about. It looks like it has not been updated in years. The space is awkward and did not have the feel of a medical or wellness facility.Eye Exam:I liked the doctor herself well enough. However, when she was prescribing she stated that the astigmatism in my right eye was so minimal I did not need toric lenses though I have always had toric lenses in my right eye. So when I placed the order and received my contacts I thought I was going crazy because with my brand new prescription everything was still blurry and resulted in headaches unless I wore my glasses. I had to go back for a new exam at which point she recognized that I really did need a toric lens in my right eye.Ordering:Awful. Wow, just awful. I only wanted to order contacts because I was not a fan of the frames that they had and I had a pair of glasses picked out from a brand that they do not carry. They were SO PUSHY about the glasses. I stood my ground and did not purchase. They billed the wrong insurance. They added a FocusCare or some such package to the bill without explaining it to me and when I asked them to remove it, somehow my out of pocket expense went up. They entered my address wrong even though I asked them to correct it several times.Receipt of LensesThe first order with the incorrect Right eye lens took two week when it was supposed to be 2 days. The second order only took an extra week. When it had been a week and still no call letting me know they were in I called; I waited a week and a half for the first order. It seemed like they did not put the order in either time until I called to check the status.Ive had much better experiences at Americas Best and Target Optical. I absolutely would not go back. I am annoyed that they made any money from my business.

Ive been going to Rosin for about 10 years now and wouldnt go anywhere else. In general the staff is very nice and very professional, and because I have an eye doctor (Dr. Lingk) that is stuck with me for life Ive followed her to 3 different offices, and the experience with the staff has been consistent at all 3.Let me start by saying I have very poor eyesight, and a condition that glasses cannot correct. After seeing many different eye doctors Dr. Lingk diagnosed me with a very rare condition and then sent me to a specialist that confirmed the diagnosis. She then fitted me with some synergeyes contacts and I have been seeing 20/20 ever since. It has been amazing. So yeah, if I sounded like a stalker in the first paragraph following her around from office to office, that is why! :) Shes the best and Rosin is lucky to have her.Most of you reading this wont have any condition like I do, so from a more general standpoint she is incredibly nice, very thorough and will take great care of you if you are fortunate enough to have her as your doctor.

What a disappointment this was despite all the rave reviews. I gave this place 3 starts because I got what I received, a pair of glasses. However, this place lost stars because their staff is not helpful or demonstrated they have any expertise of their product, fitting, or customer service. I was expecting the staff to help me select glasses, advise which types would be best with the shape of my face, different styles; which ones have plastic lenses, glass, metal frames. Instead the lady just pointed to different spots on the wall and said, these are ray ban, these are calvin klein, these are forster grantt,. Wow big help, like I cant read the name brand on the frame.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT ROSIN EYECARE!!! I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Prices were way too high and customer service was very poor. I had a problem with the adjustments on my frames and tried to get them fixed, but they refused to fix them, saying there was no way to fix them. Instead, I went to LensCrafters and got my frames fixed, with no problems AT ALL. DO NOT GO HERE, WASTE OF TIME and MONEY!!!!!

Waited a month to get in to see a Dr. due to this being the only company my insurance allowed. Once I got in, my exam was not as thorough as I expected. The choice of frames was very limited and unflattering. The frames I purchased started falling apart hours after I left, my vision is no better and I still continue to strain to see. I waited over 3 weeks to receive my glasses. Not my choice but what I was dealt by the insurance company.

I would highly recommend Rosin Eyecare to anyone.The people were nice and kind and made me feel welcomed when I went to my eye exam appointment. I wouldnt change anything.
