Love the quality of the Sparrow coffee beans here, their competition cappuccino and lattes. The space here is so open, and has so much woody charm, perfect for meeting friends or just getting some work done (power plugs are abundant)! Don’t leave without a bag of coffee beans.

Came in on a really busy day. Espresso and peanut butter cookie were well overall. Price was reasonable as it was a little over $7 altogether. The service was really nice and quick. They just need to turn down the music a little because it is a little too empowering especially at 9 am on Sunday.

It was nice, a little pricey. Didnt notice the paper/detailed menus they had until at the register. I ordered a small hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll it was a little over $10. Hot chocolate wasnt that exciting but the cinnamon roll was good.

A coffee shop with a beautiful modern look to it and fantastic drinks. The breve latte I got was maybe the best Ive ever had. It was busy when I went, but the service was spectacular. They are open for indoor dining and have a good amount of space to stay spread out and comfortable. They are also right by a parking garage, so its not hard to get a spot. The restrooms are for all genders and are well maintained. It is worth a trip to come try Sparrow Coffee and it was named the best coffee shop in Naperville...which, in my opinion, is well deserved.

And this place along with the owner, Chris, is world-class in the ingredients they used for their pastries, coffee beans selected, and the welcoming customer service. If I could give 6 stars I would! Pro tip: the waffle and coffee(black) combo is delectable!

I stayed here in naperville for a weekend, and was brought to this coffee shop. i went here for the entire weekend for a pastry and coffee. the employees are really sweet and polite. i get an iced latte (oatmilk) and its a 10/10 + pastry too. (10/10). i plan on coming here more oftenly as it is like a happy study/work environment. recommend going to!

Best coffee in Naperville - potentially the entire Chicago area. And the food is terrific: Avocado toast that’s above and beyond, Liege waffles that make this a destination on their own, biscuits with camomile honey (!) and preserves, and house-made croissants on the weekend that will wow you. Oh…don’t forget to try the coffee chocolate chip cookie with sea salt.

This is my second time here, and I drove 40 miles out of my way to get here. Their Competition Cappuccino (pictured) is the best cappuccino Ive ever had, both times. Their Goat Cheese and Allium Quiche (pictured) is the best quiche Ive ever had. Last time I also had the Bergamonster (an Earl Grey-based Arnold Palmer-type drink) and their Monkey Bread, and I was just as impressed with those.Add to that, an open, airy environment that still feels cozy with plants and rich woods, and the very friendly and helpful baristas who really know their stuff, and this cafe is *very* difficult to beat. Dont miss it!

One of the best coffee shops in the Chicago area. I always come here for single origin beans to take home to Texas. The beans served in their espresso drinks are always excellent as well as their baked offerings. Not a place to miss..Try out some of their specialty coffees.

The espresso is pulled well and their Iced Caramel Latte is the perfect amount of sweet with espresso flavor still present! Very impressed. The espresso is more fruity or tangy I feel so if you get a plain latte you may not enjoy it as much if you arent interested in that flavor profile. In a flavored drink it is perfectly present. I love how the caffeine kicks in immediately after drinking- a sign of espresso being extracted well. The waffles and macaroons were scrumptious!

Even though I need to cut back caffeine, Iced coffee latte with oat milk is a quite addictive!

The staff was friendly, and the place has a good vibe, and the sandwich was really good, but the drinks were not good. They tasted alright, but were cold when I got them; barely above room temperature. When I asked for them to be reheated, they gave me new drinks at the same temperature. Really disappointing especially considering how expensive they were.If you look at their website, you would expect some innovative drinks that you could not get elsewhere, but their menu was basic. Thats not a bad thing in itself, but when the drinks were disappointing, it left me wondering what they were bragging about.

I love this place. The ambience is excellent. The baristas are all so nice and above all the COFFEE. Such good quality and such a concise menu makes it easy for me to decide. Also love their pastries.

Do NOT order the chai tea latte. It is drastically bad. I love chai tea lattes and i’ve had plenty that I thought weren’t great and plenty that I thought were. But goodness gracious I was not prepared for how bad this one would be. It tasted like grass according to my friend but I don’t think that covers it because I would rather eat grass then take another sip. Other then that the ambiance is lovely.

I cant say enough positive things about this place. First of all the coffee is miles ahead of the competition. Not only does it taste great, but, the it really deliverers the caffeine more consistently so Im not going 0-60 so quickly and then crashing. Its smooth and amazing. The bakery and sandwiches are all fantastic. Everything I taste is better than the next. Ive never been disappointed with anything there. Its all great and has been vetted by their chefs apparently. They know what theyre doing. Lastly but most importantly, the staff is so great. They are friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Megan (the Manager) who is always smiling and friendly. Megan is always excited about Sparrow; Shes its best advocate. If I owned a business, I would steal her first. Shes a huge asset to Sparrow and I would guess is a big reason for its success. Thanks Megan for all that you do and I will be a customer for life!

I reiterated my order (3x) specifically to omit milk, as from my understanding, a latte contains milk. I was served a matcha latte and was told that’s the only way they serve it only after my friend paid $20+ dollars, however, that was not what I ordered. Matcha green tea powder and matcha latte mix form two very different beverages, please educate your employees before they offer up patronizing tones.

This is definitely one of those new age coffee shops. Outlets everywhere. Only the finest of ingredients and a really modern look to the place. I would suggest this place if you get bored of Starbucks monopoly in this suburbs. I got a competition cappuccino and the coffee itself is very good. The foam on top was top notch. The only thing was that I found it to be slightly acidic for my taste. I wasnt able to try any of the pastries but they all looked very appealing.For the decor they really went for a modern vibe. Everything looked so sleek and shiny.I think it stands out a lot because of the location and the lack of other coffee shops in the area but it could use more food options like sandwiches.

The most modern, comfortable and clean coffee shop I’ve visited. Compared to other expensive brands, this coffee shop offers one of the best tastes with full flavors I’ve tried, in a surprisingly inexpensive price. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The modern look is fantastic, and the seats are very comfortable. If you are here for just a cup of coffee or doing some homework for school, this is a great place. I enjoyed the Nitro iced coffee last time I was here and the macaroons are delicious.

Stopped for a (/n I believe) batch brew coffee and some coffee beans, both were excellent. I was impatient trying the beans and didnt let them degas at all. Would definitely recommend both and definitely plan on buying more beans in the future. They are probably my favorite in the area.

Tasty coffee and really nice space. Visiting Naperville with my friends and we needed a coffee. Their menu is varied, without being overwhelming. Mocha was on point; just sweet enough with the bitterness of chocolate. Prices were reasonable compared to other specialty coffee shops. While a little busy, I could see it being a nice working space if you have a flexible work arrangement.

Visit here every time we go Downtown Naperville. It’s a great place for coffee and pastries. The chocolate croissants ( pain au chocolat to anyone whose eaten en France) are delicious as are the plain croissants. It’s a lively atmosphere with small tables and work benches for the computer workers ,friendly staff ,clean toilets and very convenient for the town centre and parking. Would love a coffee shop like this in Palm Coast !

Rude and inattentive. Very inconsistent with how they handle their customers masked and unmasked. Saw someone get told they couldn’t get service without a mask while others walked around without masks near by. Meanwhile people were sitting 2 feet away at a table maskless eating and drinking. Try to at least make sense.

Great new place in downtown Naperville. Clean, spacious atmosphere. The coffee beans are locally roasted with a great variety of options available. They also have a nice tea selection. Presentation is wonderful loved my teapot served on a tray with cup. Very streamlined modern atmosphere.

Overly trendy and pretentious atmosphere, so avoid if you’re not into that kind of thing. Ordered a flat white, waited a LONG time, and the drink was literally 3 sips! The sips were good but not what I was looking for especially at that price. Upside is cookies were good, but I would not return.

The use of concrete, black color, light and timber colors produced an amazing embiance!The coffee! I had something called competition cappuccino and it was a small cup of half filled cappuccino. I knew nothing about it but knew I had to try it out and it did not disappoint! It was a vibrant, deep, silky, and aromatic cup of cappuccino. I was having it as a take out so did not get to ask the barrister about its exact nature and ratio of coffee and milk, but it seems like a small measure of milk that allows the crema to seep through to get a beautiful golden reddish brown layer that provides an appealing look, great texture, and a burst of rich flavors.I initially thought all they had was the items in the chiller but realized theres a menu with a few sandwiches including croissants.I tried the breakfast sandwich and i was pleasantly surprised, it was really good!! It had 3 pieces of soy glazed succulent bacons, egg and a wonderful sweet & savory red pepper jam with soft crusty brioche buns.siper good, and only for $9.I am just wow wow wowed by this café!

Sparrow Coffee is the newcomer to Naperville, and you can find it by Hotel Indigo. This new cafe is modern and edgy right when you walk through the doors. The staff is really nice and helpful when you cant make a choice from the menu (me). I ended up ordering an Iced Caramel Latte and a Liege waffle from the menu as well as a Competition Cappuccino and a spinach egg tart.The Cappuccino is well balanced with the flavors and can give some of the downtown cafes a run a for its money. The egg tart with was great, it was savory and the crust of it just cracked the right way to make it onto my fork everytime.To the main show though: The Iced Caramel Latte is now my favorite drink on their menu and holds my new standards for Iced Caramel Lattes everywhere. The drink is decadent with the milk, and they make the caramel in-house. The drink holds its own with the espresso and blend of sweetness. However, it is not overly sweet where it tastes artificial after awhile with a lot of syrups added into the mix.I accompanied the Iced Caramel Latte with the Liege waffle and it was a great combination for anybody who has a sweet tooth. The best part of it all is that the waffles are made to order - so they are nice, fluffy and fresh when you get it since it is made on site.I see this cafe being popular in this area since the Water St. development (other side of the riverwalk bridge) is a new, trendy area they are trying to create for Naperville. The street parking is limited - however there is a parking garage right around the corner.For myself, I cannot wait to return for another Iced Caramel Latte.

The breakfast sandwich with publican pork belly is the bomb, and they also have legit Liege waffles made with pearl sugar, as good as any Ive had in Belgium. Was in town and wanted to support a local coffee shop - and Soarrow didn’t disappoint. They take a lot of pride in their ingredients (check out their website), craftsmen ship and clearly have a lot of passion for brewing, which shine through in their coffee. We got a black coffee, apple cider (would recommend 1/2 the amount of Carmel they put in) and a macha latte (with oat milk). We also got some snacks; pumpkin macaroon and banana nut muffin. Both were ok but nothing to write home about.Have COVID precautions in place.

The coffee and tea is always amazing and the tofu Banh mi is one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. The bread they use for that sandwich is the perfect balance of crispy, light and fluffy.

Got a nitro coffee here. It was aggressively roasty, which was a little off putting at first. By the end of the cup though, it was pretty lovely. Seems like they do an extremely dark roast but are still able to coax out interesting flavors. Would recommend!

I came here this morning on the recommendation of a friend. As the kids would say, it SLAPS. I ordered a perfect mocha. The first thing I noticed is that it was given to me the absolute most perfect temperature. My first cautious sip was utter joy. It is wonderfully balanced not at all too sweet or heavy on the tongue.The service was friendly and efficient. The inside is lovely and like everyone else, I look forward to COVID going away so we can enjoy the inside space more.Definitely recommend!

Highly disappointed with the customer service. Second time here and both times the workers were rude. We waited for 20 minutes to get our drinks and cookies. About 10 people came in and left after us while we still waited. Not sure if I’ll be back here anytime soon

Got them-not labelled, all the honey in one and none in the other. Both were not hot. They were nice enough to return my money. Bakery items looked good.

Staff was very friendly. We were served immediately. Coffee is pricy, but not pricier than Starbucks.Accessibility: There is a wheelchair accessible entrance via the hotel lobby. A wheelchair can pull up to the counter to order coffee. However to get creamer, sugar, or lids the counter is very high.There is a seating along the window with small tables and big long communal table.

Sparrow Coffee is my third-favorite coffee shop in suburban Chicago (after Owl and Lark in La Grange and Five and Hoek in Wheaton, if you must know). It has a large and gorgeous floorspace in downtown Naperville, with an excellent selection of pastries and coffee to choose from. The Competition Cappuccino and the sprinkle cookie are favorites of mine, in particular. And, to sate the masses, theyve finally succumbed and started making chai lattes. My one criticism is that the shop is so popular that it can be a bit of a madhouse with their current space. However, I doubt that any further expansion will be possible. I highly recommend Sparrow to anyone nearby, or even for a trip. Their beans are great as well!
