I wish I could give this review 0 out of 5 stars because thats how awful my experience was with Luna. The sales representative that came out to sell us the floors did not spec out the project correctly leading to 2 separate contractors coming out to my house and not being able to complete the job. I am still without installed flooring because the wrong laminate flooring was recommended by the sales rep and Luna did not inform the contractors what tools were needed to complete the job. This was a complete waste of time and energy to result with no floors being installed. I was without a kitchen for 4 days waiting for Luna customer care reps to call us back. A discount of only $100 was offered for the inconvenience. 0/5 I do not recommend Lunas flooring services.

EXTREMELY HARD TO GET A HOLD OF! I was scheduled to have padding only replaced on 7/1. I took the day off work for the job. Installer showed up and refused to replace unless I had all carpet replaced. I have done this exact job 3 years ago with no problem. My carpet is in perfect condition. I understand that Luna contracts the work out, but when their installer, who represents them, refused to do the work, Luna had zero response to me that day. They stated that they would not have another installer for me that day and that someone would contact me within 48 BUSINESS hours. Today, 7/10, I received my first call back. I moved on to DeSitter Carpet with immediate response and great service.

My experience with Luna started out very good. Ease of scheduling estimate, viewing samples, and professionalism of my salesperson were great. That all ended abruptly upon game time. After being asked to confirm our installation appointment, moving our furniture, making arrangements for dog, re locating a guest, and taking a day off work, we were notified DAY of installation, material was “not in warehouse”. After being put on perpetual hold NUMEROUS times, I decided to cancel the order. Very little concern on their part. The usual, “I’m very sorry for your inconvenience”. Bottom line is, they’re huge. They advertise constantly. And, the customer does NOT matter. All about volume. I’ll throw my business to a smaller company who cares.

Incredibly unprofessional . I had a rep come out for a quote and were were pressured to sign that very minute, as if carpet is this insanely hot commodity. I wanted to do my research and get another quote before signing over $6,000. As any smart consumer would. I mentioned to the rep that came out that I had a family friend recommendation I was going to have quote out the job before making a decision. The rep simply didnt believe me that I knew somebody in the business and asked me to call and put them on speaker to prove it. I of course said no because that is absurd. Once I said no he told me I was lying and stormed out of the house and slammed the door. Needless to say I didnt choose Luna. Im going with our friend recommendation who was willing to hold our price while we thought it over.

Do NOT expect Luna to stand behind their products. We had hardwood floors installed and parts are peeling and they told us we did it. It’s only 1 1/2 old. And the areas that are chipped are areas that don’t get much foot traffic. They suck. $8,000 dollars later and we are screwed. DON’T USE THEM. I actually would give them -0 stars

So, were aware this is a gallery, but to our knowledge we engaged with someone from Luna Naperville and he came from Naperville. If that is not the right place to review, maybe Luna needs to fix this. Our experience? Shocking. Cant think of another word. We asked for an estimate for roughly 3,100 sqft of carpet replacement or about $15K in anticipated cost. The sales person could not have been more arrogant - maybe they just sell a lot today and really dont care about such a sale. If thats the case - do you guys actually anticipate this economy to continue - because were not coming back and if your sales guys behave like this with other buyers as well, you may want to consider giving them an attitude adjustment.So, we asked for estimate - how is it that you guys, after all these years, still pitch sign now, the price only works today - how is it that you still get away with that? Maybe add gold chains and hair gel to the salesman equipment to make the used car salesman appearance complete. Oh well, you dont get away with that - because were not coming back.If you consider Luna, you anticipate a painful experience and subpar service. You know, Comcast for the carpet world. And, you know, sales people without manners and exaggerated self-confidence. Its something you avoid until your carpet literally disintegrates. You get what you pay for, sure. But heres my question to you: We considered you because you advertise a gazillion percentage of installation or whatever discount. Shouldnt you be cheaper than those guys who do not offer a discount? How is it that your estimate was still $3K more expensive than the highest bid from a smaller local carpet company - with no discounts? How is it that this sales guy from Luna was the only sales guy in our house who did not think he had to take off his shoes on our white carpet? Honestly, where does your arrogance begin and where does it end?No, I did not buy from you. And yes, Im upset over the sheer deception and arrogance you display. Shame on you. You need to seriously wake up and train your sales people. What you engage in, if people buy from you, is in all honesty right at the border between deception and being criminal. Shocking - and you guys deserve every 1-star review there is.Again, no idea if the estimator came from the gallery. But theres really only one Naperville location and if thats not the one, go to Luna corporate and fix it. It seems there are enough confused reviews here, so the motivation should be there. That said, no Luna sales person will ever set foot in our house again.Ill say it again: Shocking.

Luna took forever to answer their phones to accommodate us. On the date of our install, they called around 12pm and told us our material for the floors were not in the warehouse so they had to reschedule us (we already waited three weeks). I had to constantly call them to reschedule. One would think they would rush to accommodate us, but nope. They wanted to install the floors two weeks later. We cancelled! They suck!

I first want to say that I was very skeptical on going with Luna when I read some of the reviews, but I am extremely happy that I decided to go ahead with my flooring project. My salesman and customer service made me feel comfortable with my decision and answered all questions and concerns that I had. I replaced 3000 sq. ft. of floors in my home and I did not have one issue. The installers did an excellent job and if they noticed anything that I should be aware of they brought it to my attention. I am very happy with my purchase from Luna.

This Luna store is very attentive and has great customer service - and very competitive prices. (And I agree with another reviewer... they do not oversell! - quite refreshing).Customer service extended beyond the store with email support with the pre & post-sale questions. They were/are very accessible. That was the deciding factor to go with Luna. But what impressed me even more was that they did not discredit the competition. Apparently the flooring industry is somewhat close-knit in Aurora/Naperville.And then they got more kudos for a great team that showed up to estimate the job.Later on, the delivery was orderly and accommodating.Then the installers were equally (if not even more) customer focused and detail oriented. We bought flooring in February of this year and was told our floor needed to be leveled. We paid a significant amount extra to have it done and now the floor is worstthan before they started. We called numerous times only to get the run around and no one is fixing the problem. We went with Luna because we felt they were professional but were funding out differently.Sincerely, frustrated!

I would give them 0 stars! My parents scheduled to have flooring in our kitchen a month back, and everything was on track! They called to confirm delivery a few days before. On the day of delivery we waited and waited! We called them several times and was on hold for hours at a time! “Oh we’ll call you back” and never would!! We found out at 4:30 in the afternoon that we were supposed to have a delivery today but they didn’t have an installer... they never called us... WE HAD NO IDEA! They told us “oh we can come out June 11th”. We currently have no flooring,stove, or refrigerator in our kitchen because we thought they were coming on Monday(May 24th). We have been trying to get ahold of supervisors all day! And it is like they refuse to call us back. DO NOT ORDER FROME THIS COMPANY!

We just loved our experience with Luna from the time we walked into the doors to be greeted by Heather who was extremely friendly and very helpful with choosing the right flooring for each room. The laminate and carpet installers were such hard workers. They did a beautiful job and were extremely respectful of our home. In the beginning of the process we shopped around. However, Luna had high quality products with affordable prices. We are very pleased with the outcome of the floors and cant wait to have guests over very soon!

The installers arrived 2 hours late, and made false claims of asbestos. We had the floors tests, and results were negative. The test results was emailed to Luna, and we haven’t received a confirmation date for installation. The deposit was made 2 weeks. We have called and emailed Luna and we’re getting the same results-someone will call you in one business day. I will never do business with them again and I will be requesting a refund for my deposit.

Today Oscar and Manny with Luna came to lay carpet and new flooring in our condo. It was supposed to be a 2 day job, they finished the job in 1 without cutting any corners. They were knowledgeable of condo rules and respectful of them - including vacuum the hall and elevator before they left. They answered my questions then got right to work. The carpet and flooring looks fantastic! I am very happy and would definitely recommend working with Heather, the Luna Mgr who helped me select the right products. I had gone to another carpet company in Naperville who’s estimate was twice as much as Luna’s! Thank you Heather, Oscar and Manny at Luna on 59!!

Overall costumer service was great. She tried very hard to find the sample I wanted, but she could order it. She came out and took all measurements the next day. Very quick turnaround on quote and all. Our installer was fantastic, professional, personable, and treats the job like he would his own floor. He set a very high standard.

We were very pleased with the service, including information on the type of products. Choosing the right flooring type and pattern was difficult for us. We appreciated the price was inclusive of all charges. Our sales representative made 3 trips to our home to help with the selection. Installation was fast and on time. We are very pleased with the end result.

I only gave one star so that I coud write my review. My name is Nicole I had Lamnet floors installed. My experience was horrible from start to finish. I will not use Luna again nor will I recommend them to family or friends. To begin the installers came with mask under their nose and no shoe covers.One installer said they could take there shoes off and walk around in their socks. I think not I dont know what issues you have with your feet and did you forget Covid is here. The installers also used my bathroom and opened my windows without my permission. Two of the three workers could not speak English and the one that could had left. He did not return until literally15 minutes before the job was finished. Here is where the problem really start. The installers disassembled my bed without assembling it back properly. Resulting in the bed rail hitting the floor and causing damage. When I brought it to the attention of one of the installers. He said I would have to call for the damage flooring to be fixed because they only had enough material to do the original job. I called customer service as I was advised to do and sent over pictures of my damaged floor. I also explained to the representative what happened. After reviewing my pictures I was told someone would come out to fix the floor. Upon arrival the same installers came with the material to replace the damaged flooring. Only to tell me that they did not bring enough material. Even though the pictures that I sent showed where the damage was and the amount of material that was needed to replace the damaged flooring. I was then told I needed to call customer service back once again to reschedule so that they could bring more material. After calling to reschedule I was told that the installers said they did not damage my floors. The supervisor then said they would not be covering the floors. If you felt your workers did not cause the damage why would you as the supervisor agree to replace the damage flooring for free but then go back on your word. It doesnt look good as a supervisor to lie to your customers and then tell me if I want my damage floor replaced I would have to pay $500.00 to replace the two planks that was damaged due to Luna incompent workers. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Buerua. This is unacceptable for any business.

Expensive, no doubt. However the fact that they haul away old flooring/ carpet, and for us even the old toilets- is very convenient. They also add on new shoe at the base of your existing trim. I am very satisfied with their work. They sent us two outstanding contractors - Albert and Andy, who were real gentlemen. They were not just flooring installers they actually were real tradesmen who knew what they were doing. Tiffany was an awesome sales rep!! Very straightforward awesome to have met and do business with her. Just a few tips to everyone. There may be additional things under your current floor the installers may have to repair or add. Such as, sub flooring and so on. This is extra and can be very pricey as well. In our case we did not have the proper sub flooring under our old tile, and we did not know this until they came to install it. That ran us an extra $1,400, so just keep in mind you may or may not have more to spend the day of install. It’s not a hidden gimmick, it’s just something to keep in mind. Also depending on how much your having done, it may take more than one day to do the job , which is understandable; just something we didn’t realize. It may seem like only a room or two but the work can be involved so make sure you have reasonable expectations. Yes I highly recommend Luna for Vinyl flooring. Great product and great service!!

Bought wool carpet, installed, and am pleased with the process and results. I have a small one bedroom condo that has too much furniture. I paid extra, within reason, to have help moving the heavier furniture. When I was comparing carpets they took the rolls of carpet down so I could see it better.The installers arrived on time, worked throughout the day and put the furniture back. I am satisfied with the price and quality of the carpet and would recommend Metro to others. This appears to be a family owned and operated retailer who intends to satisfy customers. What more could one ask?

I used Luna to change my family room carpet because theyre always touting the best in customer experience. They did come to see the area and did a good sales pitch. I asked tat the installation be done the week after the estimate and to do it in the morning or before 3 pm any day of the following week except Monday. Thats at least 4 days with at least 6 hours each day. The agreed upon day and time was June 3rd 2014 between 9-11 am but really they could have come in until 3 pm. Instead they call at 9am to tell me that the installation will be between 4-6 pm. Theres nothing I can do so I agreed and waited. Come 5 pm no calls and no installer. I had to call them about the status and told them to cancel and to reschedule on Thursday before 3pm. It seems that even though the carpet was ordered weeks ahead and the request done ahead LUNA does not put you in the schedule until the day before the requested day. If I had agreed for them to come tonight, they would have been here until 9-10 pm on a school night with kids in the household. Never again. If I can give -5 stars I would have.

I cant begin to express how incredible our experience in purchasing carpet for our entire home. John our salesman was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. There was no pressure to buy and he provided time for us to consider all options. We were replacing 2.200+ square feet of carpet. The install crew was outstanding! They were respectful, worked hard, and moved our furniture in every room. The carpet looks great and feels awesome. We could not be happier with our experience with Luna showroom in Naperville!!

Where to start. First let me tell you that this has been a total nightmare. John my salesman came out seemed helpful at first but once my deposit was in that was the end of anything being easy. A week leading up to my installation I received a text daily to confirm my appointment, which I did. The day before I received a text and two phone calls to confirm my appointment, which I did. Tammy told me that I would receive a call in the morning between 7a-9a. Installation day. No phone call. I called several times after 10am, no answer. Called my sales rep no answer. Finally get ahold of customer service they tell me that my installation won’t be happing due to there software issue on there side. Later that day an installer calls me and say we are on are way. Confused but happy that something was happing. Installers showed up. When I was asked to verify the carpet. It was the wrong carpet. The installer called the office they said that is the correct carpet. Again I said no I have a sample and they are completely different. Long story short two days later they called me back and stated that they brought the wrong carpet out. The would install the right one when I wanted. Fast forward to the next install date. No call, no show. This has to be one of the worst company and dealings I have ever been apart of. Jon the salesman was rude and useless once he made his sale. Getting a hold of anyone is next to impossible. Get a refund i can get ahold of anyone to that. Do not use Luna. Bait and switch mentality and awful customer service. I would give this negative stars if I could. What a joke.

I will be honest, we were a little skeptical going with Luna and not a smaller company, but the price was what made us go with them. They beat everyone’s price and the install was great!! Heather was awesome and explained everything for us and answered all our questions. As far as the install, I can’t say enough great things! The installer kept me up to date with everything he was doing and when he was getting to the job and leaving the job since it’s new construction. He cleaned up and picked up after himself everyday! Would highly recommend Luna!

My wife and I were in desperate need of new flooring throughout our house but always put it off. Constantly coming home to a place where youre not happy to come home to because of its condition really affects you. Our homes are our sanctuary! After finally getting our feelers out and contacting flooring companies big and small we had our concerns. There were either add on costs that were not made known upfront or we were concerned whether if a smaller shop wouldreturn to correct any issues after collecting their money. We decided to give Luna Flooring Gallery on route 59 a chance to come and give us an estimate and decided to go with them. After seeing their professionalism, pricing, quality of work done and personal attention given from start to finish we were very happy with our decision. More than strongly recommend them and will use them again!

Last night I stopped in to look for carpet remnants and spoke with Heather. I have a rather small patch-job thats being done and most places carrying remnants only provide 12x...something much larger than I need. While Luna doesnt carry remnants, Heather helped me come up with a better solution that fit my needs. ...its this reason that Im writing the review. She thought outside the box and helped in a way most others havent.

Feels as if I was scammed. Signed a contract for flooring for living room, dining room, and hallway to get done. Guys showed up and our previous flooring is higher and we need to add 3/8 inch underlayment. Quote: an additional $800 for 450 sq feet of underlayment. Are you kidding me? They are charging over $47 per sheet when I can pay $30 a sheet. We arent the first customers in all these years that need to add underlayment so when my husband spoke to the manager he knocked down $150. So $600.....this wasnt disclosed when signing and how do I know the manager of Luna and the contractors arent splitting the cost? SCAM SCAM SCAM was on hold for over an hour and no call backs either. Go with someone else and not Empire...its the same company ZERO STARS

Rob was so helpful from the start to the finish of our flooring installation .The installers were a very professional crew , they cleaned up every day they were here and always arrived on time. Our flooring is beautiful and would use Atlas flooring again.

The sales people were extremely kind and informative. Heather helped me decide when no one else could. She was patient and went out of her way for me multiple times. Pricing seems high but as it turns out, it isnt. I left and got several other estimates and Luna was lower. They removed, replaced and disposed of everything and that was so worth it. I love my new floors.

Won’t be using them again. Botched our carpet last summer stretching it over two weekends. Same thing this summer... Carpeting done one weekend, didn’t bring tile or contractors. No communication during the week. Called on Wednesday ourselves, said they would make it a priority. Then arrived today without proper materials and measurements but want to piecemeal it together with lack of materials and incorrect colors.

The installation plan was laid out a couple weeks ahead of time and they delivered as expected. The floor looks amazing and we could not be more pleased with the results. Awesome customer service! I highly reccomend going to this luna location if you are looking at getting your floors done.

They did beautiful work and were easy to work with the whole way through. I had most of the flooring in my house redone.

The Luna experience from the sale to the install was fine and we had no issue with that. However, they offer 1 year interest free through Wells Fargo Bank. Wells Fargo is refusing our final payment to avoid closing our account out prior to the one year where they can charge us with the compounded interest. We have spent hours on the phone with the bank to clear it up but have yet to come to a resolution for them taking our money, just so they can assess the interest. Dont fall for the one year interest free financing. Complete scam.

We received a lot of useful information by friendly staff when we were at the store and the installers were friendly, professional, and neat.

Luna Flooring installed wide-plank Kahrs wood flooring in my condo that looked outstanding! The edging was finished very neatly, and my friends and family were very impressed with the overall result. Extremely disappointd in Luna. They installed the wrong color carpet in our house. The sales rep Carla Kosak noted the wrong carpet color name on our contract and Luna is refusing to help us saying we should have double checked. Carla used a tablet to insert all the information and asked us to sign. She didnt ask us to review so we didnt. She didnt admit her mistake and is not returning any of our calls and not getting on a conference call with customer service either. Luna is asking us to pay for installation again and wont admit their sales rep made a mistake. I guess, at this point in time, I can just share my experience on different sites and file a complaint with BBB so others can be warned.

Luna Flooring is great and they have done two carpet installations now for me in my home and their installers work very hard and do a great job. John is a pleasure to work with and I will definitely use Luna Flooring again in the future.

We went from a potential 5 star to a dismal 1 star experience. The pricing and sales people are great when they are making a sale. Today is install day and OH WHAT A CLUSTER. Right now, I am saying it is NOT the installers themselves. The 2 gentlemen that came have been courteous and just want to do their jobs. After reconfirming the order just the day before, checking the order form has correct information, the company STILL loaded the wrong carpet. Our installer has someone elses carpet while Im sure there is another Luna customer who is out of luck on their install too. We call their customer service line and their answer is oh well warehouse is closed nothing can be done for you. This is frustrating because as you know you clean out and move everything for the install and to find out oops no one checks the vans when there loaded? Then on a Saturday, there is NO ONE to be found that can help fix it.

It was a wonderful experience working with Luna Flooring.They are still completing their project at our facility.Great work ethics and very prompt in responding.I would highly recommend Luna Flooring.

Ive used them before & they were decent.This install was a comedy of errors. They dropped off the wood at the wrong time slot, they lied when they said they had spoken with us about the install time (they said their records showed they spoke with us when they didnt.)They promised this time they would have an install done in one day no problem, easy job. Installers showed up @ 7:30 & started working. The salesperson didnt tell them there was demo work. Now the install ran over a total of 3 days.My entire house is upside down for 3 days & this was supposed to be a quick Saturday install. I wasnt very happy with them at all.I had to put family that was travelling to stay with us in a hotel because the job wasnt finished in time. Thankfully, Luna reimbursed us for our additional expenses and they eventually (after a few managers) admitted their salespersons wrongdoing.On a separate note, the crew was great. They were VERY helpful and despite Luna bringing in a crew that lived 2-3 hours from my home (Im in SW Chicago Burbs where Im sure there are plenty of companies), the crew only mentioned it the first morning. They were at my home early (7:15am) on Monday morning to finish the job.--- Even though when I called Luna @ 7:10am to ensure the order hadnt been screwed up since Saturday evening, Luna said the crew was just leaving the warehouse and would be at my home by 9:30am; which gave me a bit of a conniption.) I digress, the crew was very eager to please and very understanding.In the end: the job was completed over 3 days & finished in time for our Christmas Eve party. Im grateful there was a thoughtful crew to make up for the short-comings of Luna. Beware of Lunas internal miscommunication. In MULTIPLE situations during MULTIPLE calls one department would give us an uninformed answer that couldnt be further from reality... Im not sure if they were blatant lies, misinformation, or poor communication.The floors look great. Its a well-installed floor with a high quality wood... and we DID get it at a surprisingly low price. (I say low meaning 1/2 the price of other quotes weve gotten... even quotes we got from Luna in years past. Good for Luna having a big year-end sale.)

How can you really know where your order originated??? So if I picked wrong location sorry but Luna IS Luna. Luna in general is the same as Empire. You cannot get them to commit to an arrival time.Salesman gave me great discount on high quality carpet and flooring.However he did not know much about install and forgot to order subfloor bedroom and baseboard quarter round back porch. It took much longer to install carpet and they had to double pad uneven areas because no sub floor ordered and forgot to add to cost. The salesman should have had them come and do tear up, lay sub floor, then have installers do carpet. It was a two day cpt job not oneI cancelled back porch as they failed to send as promised; sent a crew from where I do not know with no work order, wrong flooring, no base and trim. I waited all day and after I think 9 phone calls got into it with Diane about did I know what grey flooring looked like and Oh wrong color just a warehouse issue at 3:30 pm on my only day off. Got my own guys to install my back porch next day..Very sketchy company and avoid financing as you will be stuck. Pay a deposit and pay as you go for installsI recieved an apology and they removed flooring from my contract but I fear my heart could take another Luna episode.

They send shyster sales-people out who are trained to lie their butts off!Then after they get your money, you get nothing but garbage inferior flooring that if you’re very lucky, will last a year or two! And I’m sure the sales liar will tell you that his good reputation is on the line, he or she has been there for years, and that is one of the top reasons you can trust them. BIG LIE! They move sales people around from store to store because otherwise they would probably get beat up! Then they will send out the installers who can barely speak English and they will likely not have the right flooring! They will damage your walls and/or cabinets and when you call to complain, you will go through hell, get transferred repeatedly and ultimately disconnected. In short, you will absolutely get no where. Save time, money and your sanity by hiring locally and get what you pay for!

The worst experience Ive had with a carpet company!!Salesman was RUDE!! From the second he walked in it was as though we were wasting HIS time.We told him we were shopping around, he bashed the other companies and told us WE dont care about quality obviously When we shot down his $10,000.00 estimate he quickly dropped to 4,800.(ODD)We shared the other quote we received, he attempted to get us to finance LONGER to allow for his price....He left, NEVER even showed us a sample, just said he couldnt help us.Im offended and shockedI will never recommend this company.
