Wife insists on shopping here once a week. They have a good variety of Asian foods not available in normal grocery stores. Be careful as they are not fully diligent about checking the expiration dates on some items. Got a package of yogurt that was over a year past its expiration date.

Love the little restaurant shops in this store. Always stopped by to have something to eat after I go grocery shopping here. Always get a friendly welcome followed by a nice and hot meal 😋.

They just got new Paris Baguette 🥖 location, which is perfect place to sip coffee and get tasty snacks for rest of day. Definitely going back soon.

I can spend hours browsing the isles and reading product packages and Google what interests me. I love ginger and found a few things that not only were they new for me, they were on sale!! I also found Burdock root, what a great find.

This was my first visit to H Mart and I was overwhelmed. I went in with an idea of what I wanted to buy but left with a whole lot more. They have an amazing selection. Their Soju variety is jaw dropping. I stocked up. Their candies and teas are unique and not things that you can probably find at even hour local Asian market. This is well worth the trip.

I usually just come here for masks and snacks but the food court is the absolute peak of stripmall cuisine, other then that its just a really nice grocery store.

HMart specializes in Korean foods, but they also carry many of the Chinese products that I enjoy.Some of my favorites that I seek out are the fish balls/cakes, sashimi grade tuna and salmon, pre-marinaded bulgogi, and fresh shrimp on ice.I love the produce section where I can purchase Asian fruit & vegetables including Chinese yu choy and gai choy. They have a good selection of different tofu.In the center aisles they carry a huge variety of rice, sauces, spices, noodles, seaweed, snacks and candies.Right now parking is plentiful but not sure how that will be once COSTCO gets really busy.If you are craving Asian food and are willing to do your own cooking at home, HMart has just about everything your taste buds could want!

Absolutely wonderful shopping market. Fresh fish, huge selection of meat, produce, and kitchen items. There is a shopping and food court area! 10 out of 10 will be back again. (Drove over 2 hours to shop here & worth it)

Always go here to find authentic and amazing imported asian snacks! One thing about this store that I really like is that they also provide the ingredient labels in English on the packaging. I also love that they have an isle for Indian food as well!

Sushi grade fish and SO MUCH MORE. Its like youre transported and you can find so many cool things, snacks, food, drinks. First time I went, nearly spent $200 bc well we had to try everything. ok also, go to their baked items (usually in the fridge) and try their chocolate cream cheese cake. bc thats like eating a cloud. DO YOU WANT TO EAT A CLOUD?! yes, you do. go.

H Mart has a great selection of Asian food in the suburbs. Theyre the only go to option in the western suburbs. The prices are good and everything is always well stocked.This is a smaller location and might not be as glamorous as other ones, but its my only option and as long as its clean and people are friendly Im ok.

Yeah for a Korean supermarket and food court in Naperville. :-( when it is compared to the the quality of Korean produce, items and food found at Niles.The supermarket itself is only slightly smaller than the Niles H Mart but it carries the essential stuff we expect from H Mart. So not much issues here.The 3 stars in this review is essentially for the food court. I was told not to compare to the Korean food in Niles and came in without high expectations. After having our dinner here, I agree, it falls short.We bought food from three stalls, sushi, Tofu soup and a plate of Chinese fried flat noodles. The taste of each of these were actually decent. The sushi were deep fried and the tofu soup came with lots of sides. However, the sushi and tofu soup only provided the bare minimum of what you expect, the sushi has a bare minimum of avocado and salmon inside, Tofu soup is literally just tofu (wheres the egg?).To top off the experience, the service at the food court really lacks any passion, energy or concern for the clients. The other stalls servers were either on their phone, absent from the counter, or ... (let me try to put it nicely) ... just dont care.

They have all the speciality imported items that I wouldnt be able to find anywhere else. Their fresh fruits are almost always ripe too. Their selection of different cuts of meat is very nice as well.

The building is currently being renovated but still open for shopping while covid19 precautions are being implemented. I always enjoy grocery shopping or simply picking a few items here. The store is clean, organized and great customer service! They have the freshest seafood, meat, produce and exotic fruits. Although they have mostly Korean products, they sell a variety of Asian brand grocery items too (ie Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, etc). Its a treat for foodies like me.

Prices at Hmart have gone up a lot. Produce is not as fresh as it was in the past. I find myself not coming here that often anymore. There are better options out there for Asian groceries.

The variety of Asian foods and cooking utilizes is stupendous. There is also a food court with many delicious options: currently two Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, hair stylist, clothing, Japanese nick-nacks stand, a business jobs postings board with postings in various languages, and more.

A great place to get your asian groceries. Price is pretty reasonable and selections are varied.

The selection here is incomparable. The reason I go with 4 stars is that I have to mark them down for the dreadful customer service experience.If you know what you are looking for, and you know how to find it, this is a 5 star experience. If you need help? Forget it.Produce here is particularly good. Seafood and meat, not so much. But the produce and hard to find ingredients keep me coming back. I just do my own research in advance to figure out where the items I need might be, and what the labels look like.

H-Mart has a wonderful variety of imported Asian goods! Im especially fond of their Ramen and sake selection. Their produce selection is also pretty good for imports. The staff is friendly and health safety conscious, and the adjacent food court is a great place for a quick bite. H-Marts prices tend to be high, but thats expected with imports. That said, their sale prices are decent if you stick to whats on sale.

We love this this place. Unique selection of Asian cuisine and an extensive selection of produce and fresh fish. If youre looking for a unique ingredient for an Asian recipe, youll find it here. We recommend the marinated rib eye too! Makes for great, easy rice bowls! There is also an attached mall that has various Asian prepared cuisine as well.

Pretty nice place for almost everything Asian or Korean. Just wish the others stores would open a little earlier then 11 am.

Not enough stock for the sales items. Tried to buy bronzini fish and lobster yesterday but was told out of stock. The sale ended yesterday but they wont restock until today. The sale will be over. This is not the first time happens in this location. I did try live ell three time and failed to do so.Within a day, Hmart customer service posted this statement: While we are at our very best to make all of our products available for your purchase, it may take extra time for us to restock high-demand items, especially during this challenging time. Our goal is to provide our customers with quality products and services available for our valued customer at all times and will continue to find ways to better serve your needsIts rather political than professional. There is no action to solve the stock issue but excuses. I did visit both Schamber and Nile stores yesterday and found the fish and eel I wanted only at Nile one.. Although I have to extra to get them and EXTRA mileage to do so.Please do NOT post sales items on the branches where theres no commitment to stock them. All I ask is honest and accurate.

My wife and I go there often, sometimes they sell meat that expired before the label’s best by date.Feel very safe during the covid tho. So 3 stars.

I like go there for special dinner when I have big gathering. There are a lot of different selections for Asian food. Every time I go I am able to find a lot of good stuff that remind me of my childhood in China.Very diverse!Cashiers could more friendly.

If you cant find it anywhere, theres a good chance H-Mart has you covered.But their produce can range from stellar to just okay. The cabbage is high quality and very cheap. Many items are very fresh, but others are a bit less so. I got not great garlic and apples -- fresh, but not the best. Then again, Ive gotten fantastic mushrooms, spinach, and more.Definitely worth shopping here, but just be aware of what fruits and veggies you get.

A good place to get authentic asian food and groceries. Produce and fresh meat/fish are terrific. Pre-made dishes like kimchi and fermented seafood are not for the faint of heart but tasty. I enjoy finding unique items to try every visit.

I don’t think there is a better place to buy fish. Many choices for Korean and Japanese products among others. You could feel overwhelming with the number of products, but you can ask the people there for help, couple oftime also customers gave me good advice about the products.

Very efficient staff and huge variety. This has to be one of the highest quality affordable markets Ive been to. Walmart for Western finds and HMart for Asian variety and produce. Plus they such interesting snacks and desserts to try in single serving options!

This place is amazing! H Mart has a wide variety of products and a small mall, cafeteria and bakery that serves bubble tea. Two of the restaurants are Korean, One is Philippine and one is Japanese. Every Saturday has many free samples including Korean BBQ beef (bulgogy).

Costco next door has better deals

Absolutely love this place! It allows me to shop for so many of the foods I fell in love with while living in Korea. There is always a good selection and the staff is very friendly.My only complaint is that its hit or miss whether they have water jelly in stock, but the fact that I can even find it occasionally is good enough for me. :)

They have an amazing selection of Korean and other Asian specialties. Even a good selection of some Korean fast food.They have refurbished the front facade, but the inside is way over due. It looks very tired inside. It is generally clean though.

These two dishes are a must-have whenever I come to this H Mart. They just remodel the dining area and it looks so nice, clean and modern. The chicken katsu combo is only $8 and you got everything from sushi, veggies to fried crispy chicken with rice. I got the 12 boiled dumplings from another vendor. The juice coming out from the dumplings are well-seasoned and delicious.

The food in the food court is SO delicious! We tried things from the Japanese place (pictured), as well as the Chinese and Korean and it was all awesome. The supermarket has great selection and very fair pricing as well. The staff isnt the friendliest, and it was a little difficult trying to find someone who seemed like they wanted to help us at all, but overall its a nice place to shop and eat.
