We got bagels here. They had only them unfortunately. Their coffee and tea varieties are good. Wish they had more options for breakfast as mentioned in the menu.

One of my favorite local coffee shops. Always visit when I am in town. Not only are the coffee and food always great, but the service is unbeatable. Fun artwork is always on display too. Definitely worth stopping in if you havent before.

I try to stop in here everytime Im in Morgantown. If I lived there, Id be a regular. Try their chai or maple latte, and pair it with a bagel!

This cute little coffee shop is easy to miss, but I can assure you that the Blue Moose has the BEST coffee on campus! Also, their Lox bagel is the best I’ve ever had….. REALLY! The employees are really sweet and welcoming too! Needless to say, I WILL be back!!!!! :)

Had one instance where a drink I wanted, the syrup ran out and they couldnt make it and what did they do? Offered me a free drink the following week when their truck came in. I still want to try a rose lemonade QuQTheir homemade nutter butter cookies? Absolutely baller. I would go there more if I could afford it.

The coffee is average and the smoothie was bland. Just alright is the best way to describe experience. Often when I go to a small shop in a revitalized area the service and coffee are superb. I felt like I was a bother to the people here. I find it odd they enforce the mask policy but do not have a sink to wash your hands in the restroom. Dont waste your time. Gas station coffee is just as good.

I visited Morgantown many times and always loved getting a hot coffee and a bagel with homemade spread at Bluemoose. Always appreciated the owner, Gary. Super nice guy. Tofu scramble is great. All around great place to warm up in the cold. Id often wake up with allergies and walk to this place for a hot coffee. Opened the windpipes right up.

I was a little bit sad when mine was gone. The food was made with fresh ingredients but was a bit bland for us. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back for coffee.

It is a cute cafe with sandwiches and desserts to choose from! Get in line and choose all meats, cheeses and dressings for a yummy sandwich! Many good desserts and drinks to add. A summer delight!

We visited Blue Moose Café twice during our visit to Morgantown. Great iced coffee and a good selection of sandwiches and wraps. I appreciated that they enforced their social distancing and capacity policies, as opposed to just posting a sign but not taking real action to slow the spread of COVID.

Love me some Blue MooseJust popped in yesterday, from Cumberland and always drop by Blue Moose whenever Im in Motown. I appreciate that they are taking COVID-19 processes seriously. It was a bit sad to not see people dining in as this place usually has a really buzzy convivial atmosphere but I know it will return to that before we know it. As always really tasty coffee with very friendly service. There was also a really tempting looking oat bar type pastry which I didnt get but Im still thinking about it looked really good! To me its everything a coffeeshop should be: a good cuppa joe, friendly service, and a pleasant ambience to people-watch while reading and sipping, or to meet a friend. A really pleasant third space and endearing local business in Morgantown. Be well Blue Mooses and hope to return soon!

The Blue Moose is a small town cafe with a funky feel. The coffee is very good and the atmosphere is very relaxed. It’s a great place to spend an afternoon, whether you’re working, people watching, enjoying local artwork, or just caffeinating. The only drawback is the downtown parking situation but lots of paid parking is easy to access!

I’d had good experiences with this place initially. Decent coffee, albeit not the top notch micro lot stuff one can find at the grind. Ordered them via grub hub, called to issue instruction about order, at which point the staff got snippy and explained that they do not do grub hub. 30 minutes later my grub hub driver arrived with a lack luster order, all of which could have been avoided had they listened to their customer. Will not be returning.

Blue Moose is my favorite coffee shop in downtown Morgantown. Its positioned really well for anyone attending the university. Its close to the main campus. On top of that, they have the best coffee in town and a super cool, welcoming environment. This is my go-to study spot, date destination, and caffeine crisis mediation zone. If youve never been: go there. Youll understand why I adore it as soon as you cross the threshold.

I have been going there for coffee over a decade.

A bit small, you have to order your food first before you can get a seat. The granola bowl was really good. Also had the breakfast burrito. Decided on a brownie out of all their homemade desserts. It did not disappoint.

Starbucks and Dunkin’ could learn a lot from this small town coffee cafe. The service was superior, the coffee is world class, and the cheese danish was perfect. I heard that the lemon cake was the best sadly they didn’t have any when I was there but I will drive over three hours one day just to try it. Great place maybe they will franchise their concept.

Great coffee, good food and fun atmosphere! Blue moose is definitely a preference over those cheesy chain coffee places. When I am in Morgantown and want to relax and unwind a little I get my coffee here.

Great cafe. Order at counter and take a seat - food is brought out to your table, bagels, muffins and coffee are called out and can be picked up at counter. Menu is limited - lox bagel is my favorite.

What an adorable little coffee shop in this charming college town! I came here with friends and we loved the large coffee selection. Wifi is free and you can sit and work on your laptop or just people-watch for hours, or a great place to meet for a first date. Staff are always smiling and friendly.

My favorite latte, real coffee drinks, that taste amazing and made just the way you like them. The food and smoothies are great too, definitely worth stopping. I prefer over a chain coffee bar drink any day.

Solid option for coffee of all flavors and styles. They have over 5 sweet options for people who like sweet and more traditional styles for folks who just want the basics. Employees are very kind. Service is okay. Never had a bad experience, but also have never had an exceptional experience. Food is good, but somewhat overpriced for WV standards in my opinion. Overall, the Blue Moose Cafe is a chill cafe perfect for anyone seeking refuge from the normal workplace with some good options for drinks and food.

A good place to take a seat and grab a coffee treat. I grew up in Morgantown but have been in PacificNorthwest for a while now for work only, but the coffee is very good there and this is my favorite place here for a coffee treat and experience.

The atmosphere in Blue Moose Cafe is great. The staff is very friendly, but do not come later in the day. They always run out of product. You may have to choose three different types of bagels before they have yours. If you do get your selection, the food is great.

I love the atmosphere & the baristas are always sweet with good energy to start my day or to even end my day, esp Ben & Mark . i always wait just for them to make my coffee. i love coming to the blue moose bc of the staff & coffee for sure .

Went there for a first date, the barista (Im so sorry I did not get your name!) was an absolute delight, and even helped me to pick out a drink for myself. The dirty chai was delicious, and Ill definitely be back! A five star experience. My date, however, was more in the one star range.

I loved my chi tea, and quesadilla...once I picked out the chicken. Im unsure if they precook the chicken or what but the chicken pieces were disgusting.Once I took them out, I rather enjoyed my quesadilla. Atmosphere was relaxed and there were many coffee/tea options. Service was nice.

This is a cool little coffee shop a friend introduced me to. Its my go to place if I need somewhere to sit and get out of the elements when in downtown Morgantown. Its a cool hangout for the college students, professors, and random adults like me. I get cravings for the orange mocha espresso. You can sit for hours using their free wifi as long as you have a coffee. I love coffee and the coffee here is fantastic. Great place to meet up with friends. The staff is very cool also. If you love coffee and cool places, this is for you.

Great coffee at GREAT prices!! There are snacks available as well, especially sweets for the sugar cravers!! The establishment is definitely kept CLEAN and WELL maintained by a friendly staff. Most of the staff is well versed in Coffee Jargon as well. This coffee house has been a well loved fixture of 30 years in Morgantown and has aided in helping countless WVU students and professors alike push through the inevitable napping urges that accompany the College Lifestyle.

I order a vegan burger. Was informed the bread wasnt vegan. I said thats ok as it only contains a tiny amount of dairy. So I get a burger slathered in melted cow cheese. I point this out and am told I said i didnt care about the bread not being vegan so oh well.This was quite a while back. Things may have changed. Not that i will ever find out.

The breakfast items are crazy good, especially the quiche and french toast. Their salads and sandwiches are good and very fresh. I gave them 5 stars a few years ago, but now only 3 bc their menu hasnt changed at all. It needs an update.

This place has been my favorite coffee shop in Morgantown for a long time. The coffee is really good, and Ive met a lot of interesting people there over the years. I dont go as often as Id like since moving away from downtown. Id go more often if the parking situation were better and I didnt have to deal with drunk people roaming the streets of Morgantown at night.

It is a quiant and very nice cafe. As a horticulturalist was excited to see their plants in the cafe were all real!

The Blue Moose is the the only real coffee shop in downtown Morgantown, and thats a shame. While the food is good, the coffee quality is spotty at best, and the service is terrible. Its not uncommon during the morning rush to wait in line 10 minutes just to get a cup of drip coffee, while one employee struggles to make espresso drinks and smoothies while one or two others just stand around shooting the breeze and watching. The Moose coasts along because it has no competition. I really wish someone would open a proper coffee shop with good coffee, classy atmosphere, and good service. Even a Starbucks would be an improvement.

Food came a little slow but gave us more time for conversation. Meal was excellent, solid vegan options, staff was super nice and helpful and their cold brew is amazing!

Oh. my. god. hands down the best cafe ive ever been to. the atmosphere is so nice and relaxing, the food is great, the employees are so so friendly. i come at least a few times a week and always get their roasted red pepper and spinach quiche (heavenly) and a vanilla latte or chai. so so good!!!!! love love love blue moose!

I came to this counter-serve cafe from out of town because it was close to my Airbnb. Metered parking out front. Nice quiet atmosphere. The kitchen was closed due to a staffing problem so their only food options were bagels and pastries. I asked for an everything bagel with cream cheese but initially was offered a plain bagel without topping (they fixed the order). A fruit smoothie was $4.75 and they only had pineapple juice (choices were pineapple and apple juice). I know all shops have bad days, and I must have shown up on one. Still, I would have liked a better experience.

Great local coffee shop, whether you like it just black or any espresso drink they have it all. For those with a sweet tooth there are also delicious dessert options available to accompany coffee.

I heard they have rad smoothies, which was just what I was in the mood for, but when I arrived, I was greeted by a sign saying they were closed! Turns out summer hours started in May and their Maps listing was three hours inaccurate. Dont worry, I updated their hours, so as of June 18, theyre accurate!
