Fantastic lumber yard. Everyone here has always been helpful and willing to work with us in selecting the right lumber for our projects. The quality of the wood is top-notch and I strongly recommend this local shop over some of the lumber yards Ive seen at nationwide stores.

We have done business with Hoke Lumber for over 20 years and have always enjoyed their products and service. Recently, I had an extremely helpful situation with Amy from Accounting. She was patient and helpful, as I had to locate missing invoices going back several months. Amy could always locate what I needed and often gave tips to help me in the future. She even made it a point to call me back after closing time, because she wanted to respond to me on the same day! That is quality customer service!

Great variety of lumber including sizes and species the big box stores dont have. Their prices are as good as the big box stores AND you get unbelievable service. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable. They service mostly professionals. I was scared to go in, but theyre patient and very helpful to lumber newbies! Today a gentleman helped me search through 2x12x12s to find a pretty one to carve. Now thats above and beyond!

For anyone building practically ANYTHING this is the place to go for quality lumber at a very fair price. Get #1 choice lumber for almost the same price as a box stores #2 junk. And their delivery is well worth it, courteous and caring drivers that arent bothered to go a little extra mile to help out a customer. Case in point, I forgot to leave a tarp to cover my deck boards when delivered, it was a hot sunny morning which equals warped boards real quick if left out. The driver took it upon himself to find some poly and covered it for me, saving me huge headaches when installing the next day. Thank you for the great quality products and service all the way around!
