The ice cream is delicious they make a waffle cone fresh on a waffle maker comes out warm and the ice cream goes in .The most delicious ice cream cone there is. Very reasonably priced ice cream.you get a lot of ice cream for your money.

We LOVED Jack the Dipper ice cream store/shoppe! My waffle cone was freshly made and had enough “crack” to it that I would have known it was fresh even without seeing it made...I had coconut almond fudge ripple; terrific mouth feel ( the mark of true ice cream)...soft serve tastes sweet and nothing else...this was creamy with shreds of coconut, pieces of almond, and a fudge layer I could see...the hubs got Mountain Moose (like Moose Tracks) with fudge and peanut butter cups swirled into it...everything tasted great and we’ll definitely make a return trip....

Fresh. Hot. Waffle cones. No better words have ever been said before. Great flavors of ice cream, decent prices, friendly employees — makes for a pleasant treat. My favorite is the white chocolate raspberry ice cream.

I have never had someone make me a fresh warm waffle cone and hand me my ice cream in a waffle cone still warm! It was amazing!

We are from Texas and just googled a place for ice cream. Well in Texas we always have the saying things are bigger in Texas. “Jack the dipper” lives by that saying. We got the waffle cone and it was awesome was made fresh right then and the amount of ice cream was amazing. Glad we found

Great ice cream as always but perhaps we were not as clear as we should have been as to what we wanted ended up spending more than we wanted to spend but we tried to explain to the guy that we only wanted one cone with four different flavors so that it would have been one cone with four scoops of ice cream from four different flavors for my wife and I to share. I guess he just didnt hear us.

I really enjoy Jack the Dipper. I like the atmosphere. I hate that I cant enjoy the homemade waffle cones any more, but for those who can, you should! Its the highlight of the visit. I also enjoy the selections available. The labeling is very helpful for those with Celiac disease.

Every time we go in the evening (after dinner) they are closed. It says they are opened until 9pm Sunday- Thursday and 10pm Friday-Saturday, but they aren’t. My wife and daughter went last night (Friday) around 8:15pm and were told they were closed (door was open and kids were cleaning/closing up). I know other times we have tried were never after 9pm either as we don’t eat dinner that late.

Ive seen this little Ice cream shop many times and never stopped in. I decided to give it a try one day and Im soooooo glad I did! Absolutely amazing homemade southern Ice cream many different flavors to choose from. They also make homemade warm waffle cones right in front of you! Please try this place you want be sorry sample what they have to decide what you like then have them put it on a warm waffle cone! Its the closest thing to Heaven! I love this place!!! This is my Ice cream stop from now on in Mooresville! The staff is very outgoing and friendly as well. Ive never felt rushed like I do at most places. 5 stars for me!

This is the best tasting, creamiest ice cream weve had since we moved to NC a year ago. The staff is really friendly and the place is clean. The portion size is big also. Definitely coming back.

We went there last Sunday for hot fudge sundaes it was not a good experience. It cost us $13 for 2 hot fudge sundaes that had about 1 teaspoon of hot fudge on each one. My husband went up and asked for more but they had run out. If they didnt have enough they should have said so. Also, as I watched the guy dipping his pants wete well below his crack not too appetizing. Wont be back.

I had a great time stopping in with my family. Mooresville ice cream the best. Fudge ripple was great. Yes it hidden in the corner but worth the stop for little ice cream to chill the heat down

Google says they are open until 10pm on Saturdays but just showed up at 8:15 and the teenagers running it had closed down. We were very disappointed, we used to go to the original location in Sylva when we were in college and were hoping this one would be similar.

They make the waffle cones or bowls to order and the serving sizes are generous.
