Long term customer and a horrible experience today. Employees don’t know the correct deals. Went after work 10/18/21 to get new tennis shoes for work with being a ER nurse and found a pair I liked for 74.99. Tried finding another pair of shoes to get the BOGO deal and noticed the crocs. I asked the employee hanging out leaning against the counter if the crocs are excluded. She said yes, but if you’re shoes are below 64.99 you can get the BOGO deal. I ran out of time finding a pair of tennis shoes for 64.99 or less so went back 10/20/21 after work again and specifically looked for 64.99 in the women’s tennis shoe section. I found a pair I liked as well as getting the crocs then proceeded to check out. I informed the cashier what I was told and he said “ yeah , it will apply to tennis shoes “ I said “ correct “. He then rang it up and said “ yeah , this isn’t going to work “ and explained why. I didn’t care for the explanation because it’s not my fault you’re employee told me otherwise. As I explained myself again he didn’t apologize and said” uh huh “ as I walked away saying “ I’ll pass , thank you “. I wasted my time today because I was told the wrong information by the employee. I am highly upset with my experience and think it was absolutely pathetic. I tried calling to speak with management after I left and go figure they’re phones aren’t working. I called and spoke with a lady at the Huntersville location and she couldn’t get through either.

I have shopped many times in rack room shoes. My family and I went there the other night to look for some shoes for my daughters, there were hardly any sneakers in her size and the selection was sparse.... but I understand ( covid ) . I have a 2 year old and 5 year old so as we were getting ready to leave my 2 year old had taken some sandals ( maybe 3) off the shelf and put them on the floor. My husband had his hands full and I was already outside so I held the door for him and then walked in to clean up the shoes. The women who worked there ( who never even greeted us) was walking out of the back with some boxes and did not see me in the store. She sees the sandals on the floor ( mind you im walking back there to pick them up) shakes her head and sighs and throws the boxes on the floor. I spoke up and said excuse me you dont need to be nasty and about it im was coming to pick them up. she tried to say she didnt care and it was no big deal but her actions showed otherwise . Throwing boxes is completely unnessary and unprofessional. I will never shop there at the mooresville location ever again and thats sad because we purchase a lot of shoes in our house. People need some training in customer service. and should also be more accepting of people with small children. I could of been a jerk and just left them on the floor , but I went back.

Good value, good selection, helpful staff

If you’re like me and take advantage of Rack Room’s BOGO for back to school shopping- don’t bother this year. They’ve added over half the store to their “excluded items.” No bogo on Converse at all (which the cashier told me is somehow Kamala Harris’s fault) or on most of the Nikes and Vans. Unless you’re trying to save a buck on flip flops, be prepared to spend a couple hundred bucks.

Couldnt find what I was looking for in a boot. Found a decent shoe.

Really tired of these stores advertising 9am open time and arriving there to realize they don’t open till 10:30

My brother is a stroke victim and I bought him new boots here. They let me cater to my brother in his own special way and purchase his boots so that he could leave the store with them on his feet I also donated $5 towards the needy children shoes.

I ordered some shoes and the total of the order was $72.03. After looking at my credit card statement, they charged me almost $100. They were not willing to make it right and adjust the charges back down even after corporate getting involved. I buy an average of 10-12 pair of shoes just for myself with Rack Room but not any longer. Im returning the shoes that were bought and will not do business with them again.

Very friendly & attentive staff! Great selection to choose from and if they dont have your size in stock they will order it for you, which is awesome. Always clean and clutter-free. Great stop especially if you already know what shoes you want!

Salespeople are extremely helpful and there are many shoes to choose from. The salesperson also alert me, they could order my size if it wasnt in stock. Will definately recommend for a show purchase. Surprise as I was checking out, they had holiday hosiery available too. Bonus!!!

Ok selection. No matter which brand whether Puma, Addidis etc each looked pretty the same as the competitors shoe. Dont go expecting a wide ranging selection. Only brown cowboy boots in stock, and limited to only 3-4 at that. Polite but squeaky soft spoken staff. Seems todays youth do not know to speak up professionally. Crowded.

Great selection and prices. The store was clean and employees were helpful. They had many choices for children, woman and men.

Sometimes you can find good quality shoes at affordable prices, but even with name brands it seems like Rack Room gets the one off or secondary lines manufactured by the name brands. Dont get me wrong, you can occasionally find a gem, but more commonly you only find semi precious, however at a good price :)

I am giving a 4 star rating because it did have more of a variety of the name brand shoes I prefer but the sizes I needed for men and women they did not have in tennis shoes I have been to the Huntersville location 2x in the past month and the selection was poor. So Mooresville location gets my hard earned money.

Expensive..a pair of rainbow flip flops are $60.00. Thats not a deal. I found a pair of Nike flip flops for $25 that are really cute, and Nikes last forever.

Not a great selection for slip resistant shoes

Its not my first choice to purchase shoes. For one they usually dont have the size I need and they are kind of pricey. They dont run good sales.

I love that I can find size 11 womens shoes, especially Clarks, and get the BOGO half off. My only complaint today was the obnoxious Christmas music - instrumental would be bearable.
