People and service are great. Food not so much. Very crowded for not really great food.
I stopped here for some breakfast to kill time. Food was pretty good, biscuit was delicious and fluffy and the smoked sausage was very good but the egg and grits were just standard. Looks like a local sort of joint, and the happening place for the over 50 crowd but very friendly atmosphere. Struck up a conversation with a gentleman who happened to know my parents so that was fun. Good place to stop for a breakfast thats not a chain place

The staff here are very friendly. The biscuit and country fried steak were excellent. The sweet tea was a bit too sweet, but the waitress was kind enough to top it off with unsweet to balance it out. Ill definitely be back.P. S. I would add a photo of my biscuit, but I devoured it too fast.

Heckagood fried chicken. A meat and three where you dont have to pick. You just say yes to the menu of the day and before you it appears within minutes.

I waited over 35 min outside with my family they skipped me twice no waiting list what so ever I know a breakfast cafe is a little busy on Saturday I understand but they better customer service prompt managerial overlook food seems good I was just not able to eat because instead of them apologizing and accomadating they continued there barbaric management remember customer always rite I came to sit with my kids and they gave my seat away no once twice disappointed with them not acknowledging or rectifying anything not on point service.
Great good and service. Great hand made sausage, eggs and pancakes . Definitely the small town where everyone knows everyone feel. We sat next to an older gentleman that said he knew we werent locals because we looked at the menu, lol.

This is our first time eating here and we definitely return! Great comfort food and a very relaxed atmosphere. The waitress time to explain the menu and mentioned local favorites. Good service and food. The next time we are in the area, we will stop in and try the lunch menu!

Small place but off the beaten path. Seems to be very popular with the locals. Meaning it was real busy for lunch. We had the chuckled special which included fried chicken, baked beans, potatoes salad, corn bread.Chicken was very tender, hot, with crispy breading which was good as most of the other items were nothing to write home about. Not bad mind you just bought from a store or grocery and served up.Service was good.
Good selection of breakfast items. Sadly no biscuits. Grits are good. Country ham perfectly cooked.

I love Pot Luck Cafe- its my favorite place in Monroe for breakfast! I highly recommend the sausage egg and cheese biscuit- delicious! What makes Pot Luck Cafe- so special is the customer service. You are warmly greeted every time you come in and treated like family. It has a small town feel that I love!
Best gravy biscuits in town.if you like sausage,they use ground sausage not a hockey puck. Good fast friendly service, and the price aint bad either!!!

VERY FAST. I ordered off the wall and changed my fried okra to a salad and it was on the table in less than 5 minutes. Good home cooked meat loaf with crowder peas. Broccoli casserole was great.

Foods pretty good, but the eggs scrambled are under cooked and you get snide comments from the waitress when you say something to her and she responded ohhh we got ourselves a finicky eater here than she giggles and walks off. Price is decent, place is clean looking. More attention to food peparation and to what the customer asked for other than that its a pretty good place.

The lemon chicken was dry, pale white and heavily coated with lemon pepper. The roll came straight out of a plastic bag, not heated, no butter. The slaw was nothing but cabbage ground so fine you dont need teeth to eat it. The can pork and beans had a hint of green pepper added. The potato salad
