We used Surface Solutions to install Quartz in our basement bar and its awesome. We chose Cambria Bentley and it looks amazing. Definitely recommend!

Our bathroom quartz countertop was installed mid-June. The left side splash was installed upside down (how would a professional installer not see that the veins did not match up?). The back splash was not measured properly, so in order to make it fit, the installers filled the gaps with solid white caulk - very sloppy job. Although the left side was removed and replaced correctly, I have not heard back regarding the back splash, despite my texts and calls. Definitely not worth the money spent. Would NOT recommend this business.

Top notch customer service and they did a fantastic job! A no nonsense business, price was right, were flexible with the dates and times and delivered on everything exceptionally. Very smooth from ordering to installation. Highly recommend them for the job!!

Wow! Perfect Counters, Buying Experience & Installation! Gorgeous Cambria quartz in WhitneyAndrew was very helpful and friendly and Mark gave us a deal we couldnt refuse to get us exactly what we wanted for our kitchen and powder room. The man who measured must have done a perfect job because the pieces all slid right into place. No hiccups, very smooth. You could tell the installers knew what they were doing. And NO SEAMS!!! Changes the whole look of our kitchen and powder room. Great place to do business and they will do it right! Husband and I couldnt be more pleased! Happy customers!

What a disappointing and frustrating experience. We purchased quartz countertops and after the first install, we determine that they measured wrong and the section with the sink cut out was two inches short. To compensate they installed the island section to meet the piece that was cut short. This reduced the island overhang by two inches where our counter chairs are which caused the additional two inches to overhang over our drawers.A new countertop had to be refabricated with the correct measurements. The installers came back out a second time and removed the previous countertop with the sink cut out and replaced it with the new counter.The next morning, we determined that the installers cracked our new sink and tried to cover the crack up with some type of putty or epoxy. We contacted Surface Solutions and they asked for pictures of the crack. They ended up having to purchase a new sink and come out a third time to install the new sink which required removing the countertop and reinstalling again.Our whole experience was a nightmare from not measuring correctly, to installing the counter not knowing they measured wrong and cracking the sink and trying to hide it from us.Lastly, we measured the counter depth on each side of our stove and one side has a two inch overhang and the other side has 1.5 inch overhang. I would think they should be the same. We called and spoke to the sales person and asked to talk to the owner. We were told the owner is out state and the sales person would talk to the head fabricator and call back. We never heard back again.The kicker was that they didnt apologize for having to come back three different occasions, two of which they didnt leave our home until after 9pm and for being dishonest in not owning up to cracking the sink.There are many options in the New Lenox/Mokena area so I’d look at other alternatives where honesty, integrity and work product matter.

Scheduled appointment on Saturday. Came out on Tuesday and did a fantastic job on my outdoor counters that were installed 3 years ago. Needed to re-epoxy seam and they went above and beyond and also re-leveled my counters. They truly stand behind their work. AWESOME JOB !!!

Bought the river white granite and did the kitchen and three vanities. IT LOOKES AMAZING!! When you go there ask for Debbie she is super friendly and knows her stuff. They have the best prices in the area. The quality and craftsmanship of work they do from the smooth rounded edges to the straight lines is amazing. When you go pick your granite they make you feel like they have know you forever. They explained everything to us and guided us in the right direction. The installers took the time to make sure every piece fit just perfect! They really knew what they were doing. They cleaned up everything after they were done it was they werent even there. All I can say is I would not hesitate to send anyone to them very polite and professional!

Surface solutions worked with us finding the perfect granite for our finished basement. The gentlemen who installed the granite were very professional and careful not to damage any cabinets. After 3 months another contractor damaged the top and we called Surface Solutions and asked what we should do. They sent out a 2 gentleman who filled the divet and you can not even tell where it was at! They did an awesome job and would highly recommend them!

I am a general contractor who already has his countertop guy and needed someone local in a crunch and Mark the Owner turned out to be better than my guy. He was prompt with the quote, beat my other guys price, showed up on time and the install turned out perfect. Cant ask for anything more. I might have found my new countertop guy!

I will start this review off by saying that my husband is a kitchen and bath remodeler, therefore we had high (but reasonable) standards walking in the door, of which were communicated to many staff members, beginning with the salesperson and ending with the installers. These standards included 1) well blended seams and 2) matched graining.The seams are very noticeable and many parts of the graining do not match where the two pieces connect. So if you cant see the actual seam from far away, you can tell its multiple pieces just by seeing that the graining is completely off. It goes from a small piece of grain to a large piece smack dab in the middle! In addition to both of those items, they were consistently late. For example on our last install with a timeframe given of 1-5, they came at 7:30 at night during a week day and left at almost 10:00pm. The crazy thing is that they charge YOU a fee if your not home when they come so youre basically glued to you house waiting on them. They did call this time but said they would be an hour late (close).Finally, our kitchen was custom built, with an appliance garage of which was built so that it rested on the counter. Both prior to and during the measure, my husband made sure the spacing needed was sufficient for the counter and was told yes. At the day of install it didnt fit and he had to rush home from work and chop off the bottom of the cabinet by an eighth of an inch so they could fit it. I dont think I have to explain what the bottom of the cabinet now looks like. I gave three stars because the staff was friendly and the piece of quartz we purchased was very nice. In addition, when the large piece of stone on our island cracked at the sink, they did replace it. However, two staff members asked if we stood on top of the counter, which I thought was very odd... who spends thousands of dollars on a counter, then stands on it?!

I just had our countertops redone this week by Surface Solutions, and I am in LOVE. The countertop is now my favorite part of the kitchen! We picked out the stone at their warehouse in Mokena around a month ago. The installation went very smoothly, and the two men who came to install the two L shaped pieces where very nice and professional. -not to mention, Surface Solutions prices beat the other quotes we received. Definitely recommend!

Andrew and Mark are awesome to deal with. The prices were great, the service was awesome! We had a cambria quartz installed and had issues with it. Andrew had a case opened with cambria the next day. They didnt wait for cambria to make any decisions! 4 days later we have a new counter that is beautiful. Remodeling is stressful and its so nice to have a business that backs its product and workmanship without the manufacturer. Hope cambria does right by them because they did right by us.
