Great mini storage for custom and excellent service

Prices are way to high, you can go 1 mile down on Hiawatha and get almost 50$ cheaper each month, definitely way high compared to the area, look at other people prices before you go here!!!

Great service and different sizes of storages to choose from. Heated and they even have things to help you move.

We’ve had a unit with Northstar Minneapolis for many years. We’ve never had a conflict with owners, staff or other renters. We feel safe inside the building and appreciate the cleanliness and ease of use. It would be nice if they were open on Sunday, but that is a day of rest :0)

North Star Mini Storage has been great - affordable, clean, safe, and a great caretaker too! I do wish the hours werent exactly my hours at work though.

Only open during business hours plus Saturday.

The Minneapolis location is amazing! They offer great service and good advice for first time storage renters. I was very impressed at the strong service ethic displayed by all employees, in particular Chuck. They worked with me when I was a couple days late on my rent, and my stuff was clean and dry when I got it out! Thanks guys!

In the numerous times we have worked with NORTH STAR MINI STORAGE it has always been a positive experience. The facilities are always clean and well maintained, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and I have never had a disagreement over money. A perfect combination for me to keep coming back again and again!

Great price and value, better than other storage facilities. Safe and climate controlled. Chuck is super helpful too. Only canceled since we moved out of the area. I would definitely recommend if you are living on the South side.

A giant fire proof warehouse to keep all your stuff... front desk guy is friendly... its clean... its reasonably priced. If youve got stuff... theyve got space and will let you store it... for money...

I kept a good amount of stuff here for 9 to 10 years (before I bought a house). The facilities are excellent. Its easy to get around and move stuff in/out. The place is kept warm with normal humidity at all times, perfect conditions for anything you need to store away for long periods of time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for storage in the Minneapolis area.

North Star was easy to work with. The staff were always available and went out of their way to help. Lots of carts available. Clean lockers, no dust or anything. Ill do business here again if I need a locker

I have stored my personal belonging for more than 9 years at North Star and had No problem with the company. They have worked with me over the years so my items would not go into lien sale. I am still storing my items with them today and will continue to do so. They are the best!!!! North Star Storage on E. Lake street are local and neighborhood friendly and care about their customers. I would recommend them strongly.

I learned about North Star Mini Storage from a person whos entrusted them with treasured collections since 1981. The staff is excellent and the building has all the pluses of an older structure - sturdy and built to last forever - while being exceptionally clean and dry. Good rates, a safe place, and great people.

I never thought in my life that I would ever post a review about a product and if I did that it would be about Self Storage, but this is a must. These folks at North Star are incredible. They have followed an age old formula of treating people with respect, compassion, and encouragement and combined it with a decent product at a fair price. Over the last 18 months since my situation made it necessary for me to seek out storage for all my lifes belongings times have been hard but each month I stopped in to pay my rent and chat with Chuck or Tiffany I would come away encouraged and thankful. Chuck is a fantastic manager of North Star Mini Storage! Stayed open on Christmas Eve an hour later, due to a facility problem the day before. He willingly gave up two hours of his time and closed much, much later. Friendly person, awesome service, and very willing to work with you! I have rented from these people off and on for over 15 years for personal and business reasons. I highly recommend them, actually, that is not enough. I wish there was a way to praise them more.They are kind, considerate and they listen. They will do whatever they can to make sure they can help you. If there are any complaints about these people, dont listen. They have bent over backwards to help me several times over the years. If people have a problem, Im sure that it was the person complaining that got out of hand. Granted, they have to make mistakes somewhere along the line, but I have never seen it.If you need to store your belongings, go here. Yeah the place is funky and the hours are odd, but it is kept very clean and you know you things will be safe. I wouldnt be a repeat customer if they werent the best.

This place is the greatest, I think mostly because of the staff. They are so good at keeping on top of things. This is my second time renting, never an issue, no hidden agenda,I definitely tell people to rent from NorthStar.

North Star Mini Storage offers incredibly affordable storage units and various choices for your space and quantity of stuff. My only wish is that the 3rd floor electrical outlet would get repaired so I may charge my devices while there, and my dream is that a 24-hour public storage space would open someday in the city of Minneapolis. One can dream, cant they?

Ive used north star storage recently and couldnt be happier with their services, the building is kept clean and the employees were very helpful with everything. I would highly recommend them and I would use their storages again.

They always have good sized storage spaces, reasonable price ranges compared to u-haul storage. Elevators, carts and drive-in ramps.
