Massive portions, awesome flavors, and the outdoor seating is always clean and well kept. Employees are always kind and dont rush you.

The ice cream is fantastic! Cute little shop. The parking isnt the greatest but it is worth it. Everything is homemade and the shop smells amazing!! Great spot for a snack! They also have all kinds of great flavors. Definitely recommend!

Expensive, but seems fairly priced considering you get big servings and moreover I expect they are probably paying staff a reasonable wage. Our son loved the experience and his ice cream flavor, which was called marshmellow man.

I’ve been here many times with friends and family. We’ve had a great experience every time. The staff is wonderful - friendly, informative, and patient. The ice cream is creamy and delicious. The serving size is generous, but not overly so. Parking at this location can be a challenge at times, but it’s worth the challenge. Favorite flavors so far: Mac Daddy, Coconut Chip, and Marshmallow Man. But I’m sure they are all amazing.

My favorite ice cream shop of all time. We get ice cream and then go for a walk to Nokomis. It is a small spot but their ice cream is even available at local grocery stores!

With the way it smelled in there, you’d think you were in for a real treat. Wrong! The ice cream lacked flavor, and the staff acted like they had rather been anywhere BUT the Grand Ole Creamery. The waffle cone tasted really great, but it wasn’t sealed at the bottom and ended up being a huge mess, as you can probably imagine. Such a shame that a $6.50 ice cream cone - a SINGLE - wasn’t anything worth writing home about.

We ventured here after hiking at Minnehaha Falls for a cool treat. We were not disappointed. They let you sample before you dedicate your choice. All the selections sounded amazing. Get well known flavor favorites or a unique flavor combination that will blow your taste buds into happiness.

I walked in not expecting much because I have an allergy and most ice cream places will not accomodate for that. The girl who was working was very attentive and told me she would scoop my ice cream from a new container so that I dont have to worry about cross contamination! ( it was fairly busy and she took the time to do that for me) What a wonderful way to include everyone! The ice cream was delicious too! Highly recommend!

Love their ice cream and waffle bowls. High quality, wide variety of flavors, generous servings. My personal favorites are peppermint chocolate chip in a waffle bowl, and strawberry malts. Ive also had their pistachio and cookies and cream and enjoyed them. Great, neighborhood cornerstone, highly recommend.

Wonderful ice cream! For whatever reason, I prefer the Grand Ave location better, probably nostalgia. Either way, this has fantastic ice cream that rotates.Its been a couple years since Ive been here, but they used to put malted milk balls at the bottom of the waffle cones to help stop the melted ice cream from running into your hands. It was a special treat!

We were out shopping and on our way home decided to stop for a cone. Great idea. It was cold out but we havent been there for awhile. I had a single bowl off the mango Ive cream or was creamy delicious and was like vanilla infused with just the right touch of mango.. Highly recommend it.

This place is awesome. Had the strawberry. It was so good. In the group we also had cookie dough and birthday cake. The birthday was amazing!!!

Overall, I really liked this place for ice cream. You can tell their ice cream is quality made, fresh waffle cones and is located right next to Minnehaha Parkway! Best on a hot day while taking a walk. My only complaint was the size of their singe scoop and the waffle cone crumbled more than usual. Even fresh, the waffle cone seemed thin which made it crack a lot while you were eating it. Their prices were high. I paid about $5.60 for a single scoop waffle cone but ice cream could be as high as $6.50 for a waffle cone. Ouch!

Bought grand ole creamry butter pecan ice cream at a grocery. The texture throughout was grainey. The flavor was fine. However i disliked the unusual grainy texture and will never buy the brand again.

This is a decent ice cream joint - nothing too memorable (good or bad). I had the rum raisin ice cream, and it was pretty bland. It tasted about like vanilla ice cream with raisins in it. Also, one of the servers was touching his face while scooping. Thats one star off for that alone. Good food handling practices are not optional.

I enjoyed my waffle bowl with chocolate banana ice cream. So delicious! You should try it! Btw it doesnt have a drive thru even thought it looks like it does. Theres a few tables outside where you can chill and eat your cone or drink your shake.

Fantabulous iced cream. Extremely delightfully delicious. The iced cream is delectably smooth and crisp on my palate. Staff were some of the friendliest and most caring people I have met in all of my travels. I can guarantee that I will be making a return.

Giant ice creams

Everyone was out for ice cream last night at Grand Ole Creamery, but the line moved steadily along. The servers handled the influx of customers well and the best ice cream was had by all. Great ice cream, great place to get it.

I think they need to train their employees better espically on portion sizes. Went in on a busy evening and ordered a single & it was about this size of two of my fists. Went in during the day when it wasn’t busy and ordered the same thing and it was about half the size of my fist. Ordered it for my two year old and I to share and there wasn’t even enough ice cream for me to eat any...delicious ice cream though.

Little on the spendy side

Ice cream was very good. However we had a unique experience. Hey young girl came in to the location to begin her training for a new job, when the girls were working told her she no longer had a job if there were no hours available. Was very unprofessional to have this conversation in front of customers, not to mention the girls working there were laughing after the young girl left. I was not impressed with how this was handled. Poor girl !

So many wonderful flavors to choose from, always rotating. Sadly the website is never up to date with the current flavors, but its not like any of them are bad. Lol
