I had a full club fitting with Andrew Plunkett and it was a great experience. I came in with the goal of gaining more consistency and distance. Andrew was very helpful in helping me understand the differences in clubs. We focused on getting the different club aspects aligned to increase my feel of the face throughout my swing. He helped me find a fit that created less dispersion in my distance and more importantly, side-to-side. I’m very pleased with my experience. I could tell that Andrew really listened to my goals and helped guide me toward the right clubs for my game.

My husband surprised me with a fitting for irons here on my birthday and Andrew really made some magic happen. He was very thorough and offered recommendations based on what his knowledge as well as the data showed...not necessarily the ticket price. Had a full bag fitting with Andrew and was incredibly pleased with the session. I drove five hours to get fit here as I have been told how great 2nd Swing is as a fitter, and it was well worth it. I went in for my first fitting ever, and didnt know what to expect. Tyler was absolutely awesome to work with. I came in looking for a new driver, possibly a 3 wood. A lot of my previous purchases of golf clubs have been off the rack or e-bay. I went into this fitting to see if I was swinging the right equipment. I ended up leaving with the same driver, a new 3 wood shaft, and a new tsi3 hybrid. It was awesome to not feel pressured in getting the new items. Tyler worked with me in fine tuning my own equipment, and finding what work best and preformed best. Tyler just let the data speak for itself, and communicated in a way for you to understand. Would definitely go back for an iron fitting.

From the start James was very upbeat and friendly and he knew his stuff with the clubs! He was able to put me on a used driver that increased my driving distance by 30 yards! Also we determined that my 3 wood didn’t need to be replaced. Respect to them for not trying to sell me something I didn’t need. Drew was great as well, can’t wait to come back and have them check my iron distances!

The dude was not only incredibly knowledgeable but listened to my needs and provided great recommendations without trying to nickel and dime me. I left feeling 100% confident I made the right choice in my new clubs and actually spent less than I told him I could because we found the right fit. He went above and beyond my expectations and made the process as easy as pie. If you’re thinking about making a switch in your golf equipment, you can’t go wrong with his direction and expertise.

While the building footprint is smaller than other locations I have been to, it is stocked just as well or better. The employees were friendly and attentive. Their collection of bargain clubs is large, too. Even though I wasnt looking to spend a lot of money, the employee helping me made time to find me a driver that fit my budget and my game. Parking is a bit of a challenge, so be ready to do just a bit of walking if a spot isnt available behind the store.

Just had a club fitting with Andrew Plunkett. The kid knows his stuff. Listened to what I wanted to accomplish, made sure I was comfortable with the choices I made, and didn’t laugh at my 50 year old Ping I irons. Moreover, he fast-tracked things like cutting shafts, swapping shafts, and regripping. I’ll be following up with him on wedges (but not putters, my 1970s vintage Anser is the answer).

Dean and Brady are the most knowledgeable pros out there when it comes to new age club technology. Dean helped upgrade my out of date driver, gain 25 yards consistently, and hit it straighter. Don’t know how that is possible but their attention to detail and experience with the stats of each shot helped to get me into an amazing upgrade. Would 10/10 recommend Dean and/or Brady who I have had personal experience with, would recommend the Minneapolis 2nd swing for any type of golf related improvements all-together. Thanks!

This store is awesome! James at the Minneapolis branch was great to work with. He got me all set up with my new Sim max irons and driver by analyzing my swing and fitting my needs. I was able to trade in my old clubs and walk out the door with some new ones for a great price. Everybody in the store was very friendly and helpful in my decision with these new clubs.

Fantastic experience. Ive never bought new golf clubs, so this was a first time for me. I had no idea the measurements and data that they would go into! I worked with Dean G, who was exceptional. I was measured and then he asked my budget, and then we got started. He had me swing each club 5-7 times, then we would look at the data on the computer. It had a scatter plot, ball speed, launch angle, RPM, etc. It was incredible, I was stunned at the information it was providing. Then when he got me in some clubs that both fit me properly and yielded positive results on the computer, I actually didnt need to even see the fit results or computer results. I KNEW they were customized to me because of the way the ball FELT when I was hitting it. It felt solid, consistent, and natural. I had no idea that was how golf was supposed to be! I would recommend this place and Dean to anyone

Ive been here twice now. The first time, I had a great fitting with James. He was very helpful and helped me add 15+ yards to my driver. The second time I was able to get fitted by Andrew for a new fairway and 4 wood. I cant say how impressed I was with both of these guys. The store also have great deals on gloves and hats. Ample staff with a variety of experience. The place was easy to navigate and well organized. I felt like I got straight answers, not a bunch of jargon. The swing analysis was well worth it.

I did the Tour Van fitting with Brady and it was amazing. I am just back into golf after many years away and started again about 3 months ago. My swing is still somewhat inconsistent and I was worried that it may be too soon to do a fitting. Man, was I wrong. After analyzing my swing with my old driver, Brady quickly had me try out some new clubs. Within 20 minutes we had it down to one club that was clearly the best for me. He then tried some different shaft options, narrowed that down, and then tweaked the club. In the simulator it performed even better than it had been. I traded in my old driver, and bought the new one, excited but still skeptical. Today I went to the range and then played 9 holes after. First, at the range, I could see I was hitting and carrying the ball at least 20 yards further than my old driver. Then, while playing the 9, I hit 4 of the 5 fairways I used it on and hit two of my longest drives this year. I know it sounds crazy, but that fitting, and that club with that shaft made a HUGE difference. Brady was fantastic- dialed it right in, and gave me a couple of tips to improve my game. Was this more expensive than going online and buying a club that I thought looked good and would work for me- yes- but not much, maybe like $50. For what this club does in my hands, I would easily pay 10 times that. If you have never been fitted for clubs, or if you have and want to try someone new- go to 2nd Swing and set an appointment with Brady. You will not be disappointed, and your game will improve.

I am in my second year of golfing and had a started set of clubs. I had an appointment to get fitted for a better driver to start. Brady had me start with my old driver then brought 3 new drivers for me to try. What a difference! He then helped me with new irons and all I can say is thank you so much these clubs will help me and I already feel more confident in my game.

Great experience getting a new set of clubs thanks to Drew Bjordal. Getting fitted with a new set was fun and informative. Their tech is top-notch and very fun to interact with. The best part of the experience hands down was not getting some biased opinion on which clubs i should get. Just facts based off of the stats listed from my swings. Couldnt be happier with my experience here, and I dont think Ill ever buy clubs anywhere else.Had a fitting with James recently and he was extremely knowledgeable about all the data that we were seeing on trackman, and even gave me a few swing tips based on data which was helpful. Long session getting fitted for new irons and a hybrid which helped me improve my game immediately.I was also trying to buy a fairway wood and test new drivers but had hit over 100 balls at that point, so I wasnt super comfortable making a purchase. He fully agreed and didnt want to push anything or sell me anything, truly trying to fit me into the best clubs for my game.Prior to this I also had a great experience buying a putter from Michael, very helpful and friendly and was accommodating for my price range.

I had bought a driver and i was not feeling it. It qualified for a free driver fitting. So I made an appointment at the Minneapolis location. My fitter was Andrew. We briefly went over what my problem was and what I was looking for. Then we went onto the fitting itself.Andrew was awesome to work with. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful in locking me in on the right loft, shaft, and driver head. I was extremely pleased with the whole process. I ended up exchanging the driver I had bought originally and got the one that hands down was the best fit for me.Give them a try, it is well worth it. Even if you dont purchase a driver that qualifies for a free fitting. The $75.00 charge is worth paying.

I had my first ever tour van fitting with Brady Hanson for a iron set and he was awesome. He answered questions I couldnt even think of. He was super patient and super helpful. The store was packed full of people when he says lets head next door where it was so quiet. If you are on the fence to getting a fitting, do it. The clubs he help me select are perfect. Now if he could only fix my swing.

2nd Swing of Minneapolis was outstanding. I was able to get fitted for new irons and a fairway wood. Brady was great to work with. No pressure atmosphere and he would explain the data to me to find the right club for me. He was honest and upfront which was appreciated. I would go back again if needed. The technology there is second to none.

I had a great experience finding a new driver here. Andrew walked me through a few different models and helped me identify one within my price range. Andrew also helped me find the best loft and weight distribution for that club. Finally, he did a great job of showing me how adjust the loft and the weight of the club should I want to play around with it.

Had a great experience; Andrew Plunkett was a great fitter. Helped me narrow down my choices pretty quickly (and in line with other guidance I had been given elsewhere). Thoroughly explained the process and how to interpret the different numbers generated through the simulator and put me in a great set of clubs that were $500 cheaper than others I had been looking at. Great to know they are more focused on finding the right clubs not the most expensive.

Another great experience at 2nd Swing. Andrew went above and beyond!! He was extremely detailed throughout the entire process, made sure that I understood the data, and how that applied to real world results. Most importantly that I was making the right decision for my game with my purchase. I dont have too many holes left in the bag, but will definitely be back to 2nd swing for any future club purchases.

Had a fitting with Tyler Fitzel and it was great. Im totally happy with the outcome of the fitting and cant wait to play with my new driver. The process was also great, Tyler asked really great questions to narrow down what I was looking for and he took what I told him and narrowed down our choices. He also listened to my thoughts and so together we figured out exactly what will help me. I cant be happier with this fitting and will go back to Tyler for more fittings in the future.

Went in looking to see what they had for a set of left handed irons. First and foremost, they had multiple sets in different shaft flexibilities and different price ranges. Leaps and bounds more options than any other store right now. Jacob was the sales associate who helped me out and gave me a few different options to swing in the simulator. Based on the simulator analysis, my swing fell right into the category of needing a stiff flex shaft .After I found a style I liked, we looked for that same style in a stiff flex - successful. I swung the stiff flex a few times to make sure it still felt right and simulation numbers still matched. Everything worked out great! I went in not knowing if I was going to purchase that day or not but Jacob and the crew made my experience flawless, never pushy or tried to sell me on anything, tried different clubs within my price range, and found something that fit my swing, was comfortable, and in my price range. Highly recommend and I will for sure be going back for other clubs in the future!

I had a Tour Van fitting for a new set of irons with Brady Hanson and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience from start to finish. After assessing my swing tendencies, he was quickly able make several recommendations and walk through the details of each one in a way that was easy to understand. Rather than looking to simply make a sale, Brady constantly prioritized the importance of the fitting process and his due diligence was much appreciated. The improved results were easy to notice in the store, but have become even more apparent on the golf course. I’ll certainly be back to see Brady when I look to upgrade the next component of my bag!

I recently visited 2nd Swing in search of a new putter with no clue where to start. Everyone I interacted with was ready and willing to get me pointed in the right direction. Their putter fitter, Michael, took me through some practice swings to first diagnose what kind of putter would best fit my stroke. Through a series of questions and trying out a number we were able to narrow it down to just a couple. Then the minor adjustments to the finalist so they were fitted just right for me to try a couple more strokes and finally a decision for the keeper! Michael was knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. And we even came in under budget. A good experience all around. Thanks for the help!

I was in the need of upgraded irons. Googled 2nd swing and read the reviews and I dont think I saw a negative one so I scheduled my club fitting. The google reviews DID NOT lie! I worked with Brady and it was great! After watching me swing my old 7 iron a few times Brady knew exactly what I needed. He came back with 3 different irons and handed me the one that he thought would be best. After trying 5 different sets of irons, the first one he picked out was the one. To me, that just proves how good his analysis is and knowledgeable he is. My favorite thing is that he encouraged me to email him through the next 30 days to keep him updated on my thoughts and progress with the clubs. I felt like he really cared about making sure I have the right clubs for my game and that means a lot to me. I will definitely be going back for all future club upgrades!

I recently had an Iron fitting with Andrew Plunkett and had a great experience. I played college and professional golf so I know my stuff, and Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and honest. It was fun to experiment with different head and shaft options and I ended up leaning toward buying a set I never would have considered on my own. There was no pressure to purchase anything afterward at the store but I’ll receive my fitting fee back as a credit if I do. Overall it was a great experience!!

I went to 2nd Swing MPLS looking to get clubs and not knowing what I wanted. It had been a long time since I had gotten clubs so I was at a loss. I had a great time there working with Brady. He took his time and explained what each phase was of the fitting process and allowed me to try dozens of different clubs to make sure I was maximizing my accuracy and distance. It was very low pressure and laid back. I will not hesitate to go there again for any golf needs.

Plentiful and knowledgeable staff. Must have been about 10 folks working and 5 of them helped me, checked in on me, or were willing to talk about clubs. I bought a new driver but they didnt have any headcovers for it which I thought was weird and unfortunate that I will have to get one separately. Staff, selection and facilities were great though so 5 stars still and I would recommend it to anyone, new or experienced.

I love 2nd swing! I am a longtime customer and most recently I was in the Minneapolis location for a driver fitting. James took great care of me and had me out in about an hour. I love the 30 day play return policy too.

Top marks for the low pressure atmosphere and as a bonus ended up well under budget. Overall very impressed with the fitting and would definitely recommend the location and Dean.

Visited the store as a beginner with no knowledge of golf, but Jeff was very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable to show me around the store, give an overview of the different clubs and how to position each, make comparisons between clubs from different brands to show which may be a better fit for me, and let me swing around the club to see how it feels. Just went in today for a fitting and picked up a new set of irons. Really enjoyed the process. TJ was very informative and walked me through all the different stats from trying out multiple sets. Would definitely recommend and I will be back when its time to upgrade other clubs in my bag!

I had a iron and wedge fitting with Andrew Plunkett in June and he was very professional and detail orientated to help me find the best shaft and club brand for my swing. I tried 4 major brands and multiple models until I liked the feel and the results of the one I picked. Gained accuracy , distance , and feel. Isnt that what everyone wants ! Andrew made my first fitting experience one that confirms in the future buying golf clubs is more of an investment in expertise and data matching your skill & swing verses just the golf clubs. Andrew and I blended well together which didnt take long during the fitting. My observation is Andrew can not only match clubs to the player using the data collection he has the communication skills and personality to open the player up to articulating his or her understanding of their own game, swing, and goal setting. Well done Andrew!

I just was at the Minnetonka location and was surprised at the service I received first by Skyler who was impressive with her knowledge then out of the blue Noah Erickson stepped in and said hey I have time want to be fitted. I thought Wow. I barely knew what a fitting was and he helped me out with a friendly attitude and guided me to find clubs and can’t wait to play. I also have to mention the great Matt Raymond who stopped what he was doing to put new grips on the clubs. What a great experience and I will gladly tell friends and family. Thank You.....

I got set up for a fitting appointment with james. He did a great job he found me multiple sets of irons and then we determined what set would be the best for my game. The process was smooth, I also forgot my sweatshirt when i went there and i called the next day when i realized it and they tucked it behind the counter for me to walk in a and grab it. great customer service highly recommend!

I went in to buy a putter and they set me up with Greg Murphy. Not only did he help me find the perfect sized and great feeling putter, but he also gave me some great tips about how I should work on my driving and potentially how to fix my hook. Greg is a great dude and he went above and beyond to help my golf game.
