6 years ago, Hansen Bros was contracted to do my fence from another company I hired. That company folded within a year. My fence started collapsing shortly after that. I reached out to Hansen fence and asked if they would stand by their work, and repair the fence. At first they said they would, but kept dragging their feet on coming out to look at it. This went on for several months, and they quit answering my emails or return my phone calls. I offered to pay half of the repair and still nothing.

Doug was very thorough when he went over the fence design with us. Joe and his crew did an outstanding job installing the fence. Very courteous and professional team .Our fence is perfect!

Hansen Bros Fence was a big disappointment. Really unprofessional. Poor quality workmanship. Cant remember basic instructions. Based on other reviews, they seem like they can do a good job sometimes, but as I know they do terrible work, too.

The only time the communication was good was when they wanted to be paid. The fence was not installed in conformity with the estimate. I was very specific about my requirements and they bid the job to meet those requirements. The installation, however, did not meet those requirements. When they wrote the estimate they assured me they could do it as I requested - I had another estimate from another company so I knew what I was looking for. Im ready to rip the thing out after spending about 5k to have it installed. Their failure to follow the estimate resulted in me losing the use of about 3 inches of my property, which was important because it means my driveway is almost impossible to use - its just too narrow. I had checked their reviews, which werent good so I went against my better judgement and used them anyway. Youve been warned.

I worked with Doug who I found very helpful. We had a little over 200ft of yard to fence in, and chain link fence to remove. Price was competitive, only 2 weeks until they started after signing the contract. I had last minute adjustments that they accommodated well. The job was finished in a week.The fence looks great, every board and post is perfectly aligned at the top including the gate. Couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Wanted to post a review as I feel people are quick to post negative reviews and slow to post positive reviews.My wife and I had Hansen Bro’s install a fence in our yard this past week and they did a great job! Extremely professional and GREAT costumer service!! We worked with Doug and he did a great job at answering any questions we had and working with us to get the best deal! Highly recommend to anyone who has fencing needs!

Hansen Bros Customer Service = 10 of out 10! Chris and his team were friendly, responsive, and delivered a great product, and I would not hesitate to refer them to friends and family.

I have seen installations from Hansen Bros for several years now. They provide everyone with quality materials and long-lasting installations, often at the best price available. Give Chris a call and he will make sure your needs are met.

Horrible, do not hire!! This business is putting a fence up for my neighbor. However, its on my property line. After informing the gentlemen doing it, he proceeded to yell profanity at me. Which prompted me to call his boss (Chris) and the police. Chris confirmed they didnt do a property line search and he didnt care. He did apologize for his staff swearing at me. They proceeded to put the fence on my yard. The property owner is now being fined. Dont hire!!

Ive never written a bad review as Ive always tried to work things out with a company directly. But after multiple times requesting service, Ive yet to have anyone show up or return my calls. I would advice everyone to do business elsewhere. I even contacted a Hansen family member and they didnt return my call. I explained that the repairs needed were for security because I have a pool. It didnt matter - no one showed. Again, dont do business with this company. Im contacting the better business bureau. (

Called 2.5 months ago for estimate. Followed up at least 5 times. Told every time would have the bid in the next day. I’d shop elsewhere if you want decent customer service

While their website claims they build relationships and make friends, weve had completely the opposite experience. On top of being hard to get in touch with, our current project which only involved replacing some parts of our fencing was a complete disaster. Their installation team has shown up twice without setting up an appointment or calling first, leaving us with no option but to put our small business operations on hold so they could just get it over with.

I would give this company a less than half of a star if i could. I have wrote many reviews on many businesses I have dealt with on google and this one ranks up there with the worse. As a local guide I take these reviews serious to help the general public. We purchased a home in Apple Valley almost 2 years ago. We have a custom fence that was put in by this company. During the high wind storms a few weeks ago a portion of our fence blew out. We called hansen bros and spoke to an employee named Brad. he let us know that our fence was made by west tech and they would have to replace it. We called west tech and they told us they sell the fence to places like Hansen bros so they would have to repair the fence. When we told him what happened and showed him pictures of our fence he said it was clear the fence was put up improperly. There were visible gaps in the fence which caused it to blow apart. West tech told us the winds in Mn were topped out at 25 mph during the storm that damaged our fence. They let us know their fences are tested in hurricane like conditions...so it was construction that was the problem. We called back to Hansen bros and spoke to a man named Doug who said he was in charge and would get back to us. When he called back he said they would not be helping us with the fence and we could book them and pay them more for a service call. They didnt seem to care that the fence was never done correctly in the first place. We thought this was very shotty service for a fence that cost well over 10k and was special order. It was also horrible business practice as we were going to ask them for an estimate to extend the fence when they came to repair the small portion. As a local guide/reviewer my suggestion would be to go with a much more customer friendly fencing company. We have added photos also.Good luck

This company is a head ache. Every time I need a repair, it takes on average 3 months to accomplish. This is no easy 3 months either. I have had to call numerous times to get someone to look at it. Then more calls to find out whats going on with the part replacements. Then even more calls to remind them that I exist and still need my parts. I tried to switch representatives, because mine was too busy because he is a high school wrestling coach. This proved fruitless anyway because the guy never came when he said he would. I went so long without hearing anything from him that I couldnt remember his name or find the post-it i wrote it on. I am not the first to deal with this at my establishment either. The back story for my building is that they were great until they broke ground on the job. It seems, as soon as they make the sale, they become lax. It took them almost a month to complete the original work. Needless to say, Ive contacted the distributor of my fence and have been informed that there are multiple fence companies in my area that can handle my business.

The guy was a no show. We had an appointment with Brad to do an estimate on Friday at 6:00 p.m. At 6:20 I called him to see if he was having difficulty finding our location. He said that he was on his way, but was in traffic so he would be a little late. My husband had just come from that area and said that traffic was not that heavy. He did not show up or even call me back. It is now Tuesday afternoon, four days later, and I never received a phone call with any kind of explanation for this rude inconvenience. Do NOT waste your time with this company, and do your research and check out their other sub-par reviews...I wish I would have before I wasted a Friday evening waiting around.
