My partner and I went to Tiny Diner. We already falling in love their place. Very natural and beautiful outdoor. Foods and drink are amazing. Definitely we will come back again!

Haven’t even eaten a bloody bite yet but the vibe has got me feeling some type of way. I just ordered a mocha and a breakfast burrito at 6pm on a Sunday happy Halloween

Reasons why I love this place: great patio, some of the friendliest service I have ever came across, decent food, good prices, lavender lemonade mimosas and I can appreciate how they approach the staff shortage the restaurant industry is currently facing. We were warned before being sat that service may be slower than usual due to not having enough staff. We knew what to expect upon sitting, ordered accordingly and we were not disappointed with anything, service may have been a little slow (as expected) but the service was excellent in every other way.. I love this spot so much.

Staff worked hard and efficient during the brunch/lunch rush. It all felt organized and friendly as we waiting 15 minutes for a table to clear. Our group of four hung out in the parking lot noticing all the sustainability features and promotions throughout the facility. The atmosphere was inviting and we had a lovely brunch. Keep up the great work, especially during these times of COVID fatigue and safety measures, the staff did stellar in this regard.

We come here regularly and it’s always a first choice to bring folks to when we have guests in town. love the beautiful outdoor patio, the commitment to sustainability, and the delicious meals. great for healthy choices and vegetarian/vegan choices. the cocktails are great and i’ve always been very happy with every meal i’ve had. the staff are very lovely and friendly too!!

This place offers such a lovely dining experience. The food was good and hearty. I would definitely order the grilled cheese again :) The outdoor patio is delightful with a beautiful garden right beside it. The vibes are impeccable. Happy that this local eatery is here and serving our city 🙂

Will need to come here more often. Took my 5-year-old for Saturday afternoon pancakes after gymnastics practice. Loved the atmosphere and decor, both inside and outside, and the food was great too. Also had lovely service - friendly and smiling even though they were super busy. Highly recommend.

Lovely patio area lined with flowers and nature. Its a quiet and relaxed experience. Food was delicious and different. Loved being able to have our dogs join us and be welcomed.

The BREAKFAST BURRITO is awesome! The red and green salsas both bring their own thing and the chorizo is delicious!

Maybe I was there in a bad day based on other reviews, but my experience was poor overall.We were the first ones there at opening on a Saturday (after posted opening time) and had to search for someone to confirm they were even open because no one was around and the sign was off .Someone sat us and gave us menus after we asked, but then they all literally forgot we were there because another table came in and day after we had already looked at the menu for 10-15 minutes, and got menus, ordered, and had coffee served before anyone even talked to us about ordering. I had to today down a server to get our orders taken.Then when we finally got food, well after other groups got theirs, they completely forgot my coffee and took a long time to get it to me after I told them it was missing.Food was not my favorite, but thats subjective I guess (mushroom gravy on biscuits and gravy was more like mushroom soup, dry biscuit), but its the service that was legitimately bad and the prices were a bit highThat being said the setting was nice and if they fixed theyre service issues it may be worth going if youre in the area.

This is the future of restaurants. Self-sustainable, organic and low-waste. The food was tasty, but I wished they had more vegan friendly breakfast items! Still get 5 stars though for being such a benevolent idea/organization.

Living in the Twin Cities there are so many places to visit. I did not know this place existed until I visited with a friend. The food was great, the service was good, the outdoor patio was awesome. Also, the intentionality behind the footprint of the restaurant on our world, is one that many establishments should follow.

I went here after work just to have a drink and a burger and ended up having three drinks that were delicious. The service was amazing even though it was busy. And the food was great. Would totally recommend going there. I think this is a new spot for me.

Dinner at Tiny Diner was fun last Saturday evening! Great food... My friends & I loved everything we tried! Nice relaxed atmosphere too, surprised to see that the restaurant was not as busy as we expected for a Saturday, but worked out well for us!

The dilly bloody with their dill infused vodka and the huevos Rancheros was fantastic! The patio setting surrounded by their pollinator garden is the most beautiful outdoor setting for eating alone or with company.

I liked this little place and their mission to provide great food from farm to table. It is a little gem in a big city. I had the Dagwood sandwich and it was worth the price I paid in the amount of meat given. It was a great place for a casual lunch with a few colleagues from work.

YUM! The walnut spinach burger was delish and the fresh fruit had a nice variety. Staff was friendly and attentive. Parking lot was full but plenty of side street parking. The outdoor seating is lovely. Would come back for sure, maybe try a whitefish omelet my coworker had.

The service was a bit overwhelmed, but the staff were warm, welcoming, and friendly. The food was delicious and the drinks were quite enjoyable as well. Great little spot.

Weve tried this place a few times now because we really wanted to like it. There is no reason healthy food cant be good food. Everything was bland--everything needed salt.Also, this place is a daycare. Dozens of screaming children running around all the tables.And its understaffed

Had no idea what to expect and we were so pleasantly surprised. Pictured is tomato soup, macro bowl and ham cheddar omelet. Everything was delicious and hot. Service was awesome. Pancakes were delicious buttermilk and fluffy. Highly recommended.

Wow! Love an all-day breakfast diner!Tiny Diner is really only a “diner” by name. In actuality it is a world-class, organic brunch spot. It would be a bargain at twice the price.It is also the home of my new favorite Bloody Mary: the tomatillo bloody Maria!Farmers market every Thursday and patio seating when the weather allows.

Love this place but i ordered avocado toast and the bread was not toast, one of the eggs was hard and the other very runny. my dads sandwich still had a part of the cheese wrapper on it. out of milkshakes, not their fault tho :/

Having heard many great things about this diner I visited hoping I could order a dish I could manage with my issues with jaw pain. I ordered 4 scrambled eggs & a two sausage patties. The waitress was very happy to accommodate my request. She also gave great advice on which tea to get. Both suggestions were amazing resulting in making my dining experience absolutely splendid! What a great dining experience. I plan on returning soon.

Such a disappointment today. Ordered bacon, lettuce, turkey, avocado sandwich. Delivered sloppy, not toasted, limp lettuce, yucky tomato piece, WAY too much turkey and only two tiny pieces of avo……waitress was not friendly. Live in the hood. Sorry to say this but….Not coming back for quite a while.

Cute place with a good concept. Waitress didn’t take our order until after 20 mins of sitting at the table. Latte came out cold. Order “slipped through” her fingers... so we didn’t get our food until about 1 hour of sitting down (it’s breakfast food!)Messed up order on both our dishes and to top it off, food came out cold. It is what it is.

A great option for beer, burgers, and some of the best fries I have ever tried. The space was warm and inviting and everybody working was helpful and knowledgeable - such great suggestions for lunch.I was taken a back by a part of the menu referencing a 3% service charge for health insurance. To me, this feels like the kind of thing that should be worked into menu pricing like any other regular expense rather than lifted up like some odd political statement.

We used to go here on the regular pre-pandemic. The breakfast burrito was our go-to. Of course we didn’t know 1. Kim Bartmann owed it and 2. what a horrible person (or the very least, business person) Kim Bartmann is. Went there last weekend, so excited for that dang breakfast burrito. Whelp, it was not worth it. What used to be stuffed with bacon, chorizo and eggs is now filled with beans and a dusting of bacon & chorizo. Honestly, there wasn’t even much egg.I was so disappointed. Won’t be wasting my money there again.

This is a nice Tiny restaurant and bar to grab some good food and drinks. Parking is limited, so good luck. Love the outdoors atmosphere. Definitely worth to take pictures or IG photos here. I had The Dagwood sandwich with cajun fries for $17. I would recommend a big mouth and to share the sandwich, it is stacked to the max, Haha. Definitely coming back here.

Stopped in for lunch and had a great meal and great service. The waitress took the time to answer questions and help us decide on our first visit there and we really enjoyed it. I love the theme the restaurant and seeing the food growing right outside the patio even in the middle of the city. This will definitely become a regular lunch stop or even a quick dinner with some of the great beer they have on tap.

This place is phenomenal! The Biscuits and Gravy are to die for. I am from San Diego and no one makes biscuits like this! This restaurant is also very sustainable. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast.

Great laid back atmosphere. Very busy when we were there on a Sunday ~9:30am but still only a 10 minute wait. The kids breakfast $5, eggs, bacon, fruit, toast was great portions. The Ranchos Hueveros I ordered was delicious (w/ chorizo).

Beautifully designed and renewable space. Roof of cerulean blue solar panels make for a great atmosphere when eating on the patio. Delicious and healthy food options. Many options if you have food restrictions .

Biscuits and gravy for breakfast is what we were looking for- the restaurant that we chose was closed for the Minneapolis Fair- so drove on that street and came up on Tiny Diner! They have a great outdoor seating as well as indoors- restaurant is surrounded with eco friendly gardens with produce Im sure is used in the kitchen. We sat indoors since seating outside was filled- had Buttermilk Biscuits & Miso-Mushroom Gravy with sunny side up eggs and sausage. Biscuits were soft, fluffy and the gravy was very good. Friendly staff made the experience worth it- this restaurant is not tiny at all- worth visiting again.

The combo of kids toys and a great environment is enough to have any family coming back. We love this place especially once the weather gets nice and the out door seating is open.

Happened across this restaurant while staying in Minneapolis recently, and cant say enough good things about it. The food was delicious and the portions were big enough that I couldnt actually finish my meals when we ate here, the staff were very friendly, service was quick, and the lavender lemonade is to die for. I especially appreciate their efforts to be a zero waste and sustainable restaurant (even their straws are compost-able), and they have a large amount of vegetarian options on their menu. You can even take a walk through their beautiful garden - which surrounds the lovely patio - and look at all of their veggies growing. My boyfriend and I will be back here any time we come down to visit Minneapolis.
