What a horrible group to deal with! Install of my remote start took 3x the quoted time. Then on my way home I had a sensor error. Took it back and they looked at it and said I was good to go. On my way home it came on again (mind you I live an hour+ away). They closed the location I initially had it installed at so I called the Richfield location. Guy on the phone tells me there’s no way what they installed could’ve effected the tire pressure sensor (or why the light is on). Wouldn’t even offer to look at it. So much for the “warranty” and service claims they made when I purchased it...

Mach 1 Golden Valley employs the most unintelligent people I have ever met. The only reason I went there in the first place is because they offered remote start on a manual cheapest in the area. I made an appointment and when I showed up with my car the first time they said it should take around 2-3 hours. 3 hours went by of me sitting in a cafe stranded in Golden Valley with no word from them until I finally decided to call. They told me they didnt realize my car was a manual (something you think would be an important question when taking the appointment) and it would be hundreds of extra dollars. When I said I couldnt do it they gave me a deal and knocked off $200 which I, stupidly, accepted. Hours went by with me receiving no word unless I called and they would say, Only 45 more minutes to an hour. I was there until closing time and they told me I would have to bring the car back for another appointment. I came back days later and I had my remote start (or so I thought). The remote start worked for the few remaining months of winter but when I tried to use it this winter it wouldnt work. I made an appointment for 9 AM and they told me 2-3 hours. I realized later the car did not even make it into the garage until after 11 AM and yet again I was stranded in Golden Valley until close while I called every few hours and they assured me, Only 45 more minutes. The problem was not even fixed and they tried to tell me I was going to have to pay $400 to fix my remote start that had been put in 6 months prior and was still under warranty. I went and retrieved my car to find a dental floss stick on the floor of my car. Very classy. I made yet another appointment (this time I was smart enough to be picked up) and they worked on my car all day only to tell me there was an issue with the wiring in my car and they wanted me to pay for them to find the issue but did not know how to fix it because they, dont deal with that. I finally got them to admit I should be taking my car elsewhere. I went to pick up my car only to find that they had locked my keys in my gas cap. Thank God I expected this kind of sheer stupidity and brought my spare key. I have now asked for them to email me a copy of my invoice and a summary of what they think the issue is so someone more competent can fix my remote start and I have been waiting over a week for something they continue to say will be done the next day. Do not waste your time or money at this disgrace of an establishment.

I recently had Mach 1 install a remote start, as well as install and setup of a basic sound system that I had previously purchased online elsewhere and never got around to doing myself. I arrived one Saturday, and found the staff very helpful in finding me the appropriate remote start system, and the needed supporting parts for proper install in my older vehicle. Also got some good feedback and suggestions with regard to my desire for the sound system. Made appointment after that conversation for install the following week.Dropped my vehicle off the night before, and they got started on my project as scheduled. There was a bit of a delay with the installation, which I get, when working with something 20-years old in my case. My auto battery giving up part-way thru did not help things, but I got them a fresh battery which they installed, and finished up what they needed to do.So one day after I had expected it, I got my vehicle back. I was impressed with the install of the head unit and amp kit to serve the subwoofer that I had provided. The remote start system has been everything that it was claimed to be.This was a return visit to Mach 1 for me, although the previous one was many, many years ago. I felt I got everything that I was expecting, and I appreciated the willingness to work with me when we were first discussing the sound system plans. I felt the pricing on the remote start was very good, and the labor on the stereo install was in line with what I would have expected as well.

Classic bait and switch scam. Had a 10 minute conversation explaining what I needed them to do. Price was twice what Best Buy wanted, but I needed an appointment set before a vacation so I agreed. As soon as I get there, he starts in with his “the price I quoted you doesn’t actually include half of the process” speech and tells me it’s going to cost $675 to install the stereo I supplied with the adapters and harness I supplied. $675 to do a basic stereo installation. Bush league.

I paid $45 plus tax for half an hour of service pre paid in advance. With that I made an appointment for a Tuesday at 12 oclock noon. When I got there for my appointment they had no idea what I was doing there. They started about 12:15 on my car they actually fixed the radio which I was grateful for. At the end of it all I was charged another $31 because the man there claimed that they went a little bit over the 30 minutes that I had paid for. So I enter a pain almost $80 so that they could solder a couple of wires together I am sure it took less than 20 minutes to get the job done but Hey we are the customers what can we say right?

If you go here to get anything installed car audio wise you are being ripped off so badly its unbelievable I highly recommend learning how to do it yourself or finding somebody local I will do it for a third of the price you will easily spend $1,000 Bottom Dollar on an install here they want $8 a foot of 0 gauge ofc thats absolutely robbery sick sick people work here and just rip people off.

I drove my truck in and asked for a remote start system with cellular service.Walked in the door because I like to see what the business is all about. The way a shop looks is a reflection of their standard of business. The way an employee is dressed and how he talks to you and how much he knows is a reflection of an organizations standard of business.The place looks like a dump and the teenager who finally came to help me after I paced back and forth in the excuse for a lobby was one of the laziest people I have ever met. Tried to make excuses to not help me. When I prodded for some information, he said nothing was available for my truck without even trying. Clearly, he didnt feel like doing anything that day.I went to another place and they got me what I wanted in less than 2 days.If you want a reflection of their business standards, go take a peek for yourself. Words cannot explain why anyone would trust their vehicle to this place. No class and no respect for what they do and how they look.

Probably one of the worst places you can take your car unless you get enjoyment out of being lied to and stranded in Golden Valley for over eight hours. The workers have no idea what theyre doing or whats going on. Its somewhat amusing because its just so sad.

I have brought 2 of my cars one for a new stereo and the other to upgrade my speakers. Both times they have done an amazing job!! The staff is soooooo helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell. If it wont work for you, they wont sell it to you!! Amazing place and people will always return!!

I brought my 2002 Denali Pickup into the Golden Valley Store on 1/27/16. I supplied my own speakers and just wanted them to simply install the speakers. 2.5 hours later they stated my truck was finished. I should have examined the install before I paid for it and left the store. Once I got home I noticed the put a 2 inch screw right through my door panel, it was pointing upward in the storage area that is in the door panel. I am going to call them today to complain about this and state that they will need to buy me a new door panel and they better refund the cost of the install. I read the reviews prior to bringing my truck there and I was going to cancel the appointment based on all the negative reviews and I really wished I would have. The speakers also have a rattle to them at high volume. I paid to have a professional installation and ended up with a JIMMY RIGG job. Stay far away from this place.

Poor workmanship! I have taken my vehicle back several times and it is still not operating properly. My setting on the steering wheel do not work, my A/C unit was affected by the install, my battery dies if I don’t start vehicle in a 24 hour period. Driver’s window does not always operate properly after this install. I had deck, sub, speakers, camera and amp installation completed this summer 2018. I came to Mach One for a professional install and got everything but professionalism. I see exposed wire, my sub bounces around in the trunk, just a horrible finish and process.

I had a pleasant experience when I had them install a remote car starter system. There were technical challenges, for which I had to come back to their shop. Gage and his crew handled all the situations very well. I will be happy to go back to them again for another remote system, or possibly a new stereo.

Its all about the people. The owner (Brent) and the manager (Mike) spent quality time with us working out a new sound system for my truck. They listened carefully for budget, music type and if I had any requirements and preferences for the equipment. I did a few listening tests (they were in the middle of upgrading their demo display) and came out with a quote that was easy to understand. Mike spent extra time with me talking through new technologies that would simplify and bring down the expense of the system and I sincerely appreciated that. I have been at other shops and felt they didnt listen and only had their interests in mind. This is the place to go.

Worst. Experience. Ever. We had an appointment at 9 a.m. to install a remote starter, but had to wait in the rain for an hour for someone to show up to even open the place up (posted opening hour for Saturday is 9 a.m.). Ended up calling the Little Canada office, who answered. Apparently, the manager of the Golden Valley location over slept!!! We waited and waited and finally someone showed up around 10 a.m.. Then about 4 hours later, a guy from them there calls to say they cant even install it as the installer isnt experienced to deal with my car (Volkswagen). Youre telling me this now? So a huge waste of time! I went to Best Buy and have an appointment there next week. Lesson learned: Dont go to Mach 1 in Golden Valley if you want customer service. They guys at the Little Canada office were responsive (thank you!), but go to Best Buy -- the guys at Best Buy were awesome.

So incredibly impressed with this place!! Wanted bass in my car again after many years, so I walked in and Cory C. listened to what I wanted, made sure I had options to stay within a certain budget, and genuinely had my best interests in mind. He put together a quote for me right then and there so I knew what Id be spending, and got all my parts within days so we could hurry and install because he knew how excited I was. He even sacrificed his own time after regular business hours to make sure I got everything taken care of right away. I couldnt be happier!!!Seriously.. the subwoofers I was originally looking at ended up being sold out, so Cory found me better ones for only a couple bucks more. I decided to get a reverse cam installed at the same time, which gave him MAJOR headaches, but he insisted he would get it taken care of when I said I could come back another time to do it (and he did!!). He didnt stop working until he saw me in my front seat with a big stupid grin on my face destroying my eardrums (and my poor rearview mirror) with just the bass I needed and wanted.I cant thank Cory and Mach 1 enough!!!! Service was beyond phenomenal, and the prices are super reasonable too!! I highly recommend this place for anyone with car audio/security needs. These guys will make sure you get what you need and walk outta there happy!!!! THANK YOU CORY!!!

I made appointment on Monday for a remote starter, showed up Tuesday morning at 9:30am to no appointment in system. Eventually they found it written down on a scratch paper.....okThey said they could still do it if I leave my car with them for the whole day I said ok. I called them at 5:30 pm they said it would be ready by 6:30-7pm.I show up around 6 to see it sitting outside, I’m thinking it’s done.So they tell me it will be ready at 8 even though they close at 7, I was not happy I need it done I said I will wait. After a 1/2 hour of waiting my car is still sitting outside I told them forget it give me the keys. Come to find out they didn’t even start working on it. I was taken for a complete fool by a bunch of kids that work there and they couldn’t tell me the truth or call me just played me for a dummy and wasted my whole day and lied about everything. Btw a lady was getting something done on her car as well when I was there and she was very upset at them. I would only recommend this dump to my enemies. I warned you if you still decide to go there and trust them.

Absolutely not. Never what I support this business in anyway shape or form. I understand that stuff happens sometimes but to allow the customer to drive all the way over to the little Canada location to pick up apart because you were told they would be able to install something same day, and to drive that part all the way over to their store for the install only to be told they could not do it and they dont actually have all the other parts and would have to order it because there was some sort of mixup misunderstanding about what type of car I actually drive, but to get no apology whatsoever is unacceptable. I was extremely hesitant to even try this place after reading other peoples reviews about the terrible customer service and now I know better. hopefully reading these reviews saves you time, and money, not bothering with them. Terrible place of business.

Was assured that anything broken due to install would be repaired, but the dealership found several broken clips on door panels due to insulation that were not repaired. In addition I was not informed they broke something. Metal speaker grills were also dented when removing panels for install. Dealership had to replace.

I have brought a few cars to them for remote starters. Both of my Viper remotes stopped working after a few years. They told me Viper remotes arent very good (while standing behind three or four Viper remote starters in the display case and in front of some large Viper ads on the wall). I bought a new remote for $62.99 PLUS $40 to program it. The programming took two minutes (after watching a youtube video, I think anyone can handle it). Found the same remote at Best Buy for $32.99. With that big of a markup and an additional (hefty) programming charge, it makes me wonder about the rest of their business practices. Theyve done their last work for me and no more referrals.

They didn’t have knowledge on how to deal with factory system in my Porsche Cayenne suv and on the phone they had me thinking they had the knowledge one I dropped my suv off 10 min later they was calling me to come pick my vehicle up cause they couldn’t fix it, if they had said that in the beginning I wouldn’t have brought it in to be looked at just saying.

Horrible. Simply horrible service along with rude customer service. I brought my 2003 Honda Accord into the shop to have an aux cord installed. After it took longer than they estimated to install, the aux installment worked for 2 weeks then stopped working. I went in under the presumed idea that it was a lifetime warranty which I was told. After they looked at it, they concluded that my entire radio was shot and it would cost about $150 to fix it and install a new part.RIPOFF with horrible management. Never received an apology and Im still very disappointed with the service and the fact my radio was broken by them with no repair.

Brought in my car to have a double din touchscreen radio hooked up along with my subs and amp also had them dynamat the trunk and they did a fantastic job. They dynamatted certain spots so it wouldnt rattle but they are such powerful subs that they told me I wouldnt be happy with it so I gave them the go ahead to cover it all and I can say it was worth the money. They did a great job and got it done quick. They care about their customers and put in the time and effort to make me happy absolutely go here with anything car audio.

Cut my door up when I told them to use the pilers. Requested soldered all wires and no tape and to heat shrink everything with splitloom everything. Plus he vecro the 2 amps together where the compartment was over size they was never stack them on top. So being I kept telling them it was cuting out and even let them burn their hand on it. They said put a fun on it. Whet do you want us to do? He stateded after cuting my four doors up when I said I do not want to cut in to factory wire or copnits. Then did not use right color din cover and o corse the deck had to be upgrade as they only had the new iplay model. O ya the shorted out ground wire fried the sub and amp. Court time to recover the bad workmanship!

I have to give these guys a 5--theyre lifesavers! I bought a 10 year old Celica with an aftermarket alarm, was down to 1 cruddy remote and would be hosed if it wasnt for Mach 1. They found the alarm system (the Toyota dealer guy couldnt find it), disabled it and installed a new one. Works like a charm! Thank you, Calin, store manager, for taking care of this!

From the moment I walked in I was wowd! I heard about Mach 1 from one of my co-workers and i couldnt have been more impressed. I went to about 3 best buys trying to find a converter kit to hook up an auxilary input in my 2006 Acura TL to the stock radio. Every best buy location said they didnt make an aftermarket converter kit to hook up to the 2006 TL. Little did they know they did! So after a long trial & error, I decided to give one more place another shot. I went to Mach 1. I walked in told him my year and make of my car and instanly knew exactly what I needed. He even talked about the install and how to take apart dash. I was with another friend of mine that had a few questions about subwoofers and even when they phone was ringing he put the customer on hold just to answer his questions. Overall very satisfied with customer service and quality equipment. I HIGHLY recommened stopping here to have your car audio either installed or purchasing equipment.

Absolutely the worst service i have ever received. I could sit here and type about 738 pages on all the rude service from the owner and how horrible the installer guy was, but im not going to. Im simply gonna say that i had a in dash GPS installed after market. When I asked the guy why he didnt put a frame around the GPS he stated, they dont make one for this model. I told him it looked unacceptable and needed something to be done. He literally, and i kid you not, cut black construction paper and laminated it around the frame.. HAHAHA this place is the worst... Oh and the owner is a complete jerk.

I brought my car in 2012 model chevrolet. I purchased a l7 12 kicker and a kicker 1000.1 amp. they hooked it up but told me i needed 2 weeks to let the speakers break in. well after 2 weeks the speaker still sucked....... BUT the amp was the problem and it wasnt their fault. they sent in the amp and its covered for a year warranty. well after they got the amp back after a repair/ replacement, they called me and told me they got the new amp. they hooked it up and omg wow my car is bumpin. i told them i wanted to desturb the peace and they came through. i give them 4 stars out of 5 simply because it should have worked right from day one but it wasnt their fault..... ty mach 1
